⁷ Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You.

¹⁶ “My teaching is not My own,” Jesus replied. “It comes from Him who sent Me. ¹⁷ If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether My teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own.

²⁸ So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on My own, but speak exactly what the Father has taught Me.

²⁹ My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.”

⁴⁹ I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it. ⁵⁰ And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”

⁷ If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” ⁸ Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” ⁹ Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.

²⁰ On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.

¹⁵ Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.

²⁷ For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God. ²⁸ I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father.” ²⁹ His disciples said, “See, now You are speaking plainly and without figures of speech. ³⁰ Now we understand that You know all things and that You have no need for anyone to question You. Because of this, we believe that You came from God.”

¹⁰ All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine; and in them I have been glorified.
