³² There is another who testifies about Me, and I know that His testimony about Me is valid.

¹⁷ And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

⁵ While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”

¹¹ And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

²² and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in a bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

³⁶ But I have testimony more substantial than that of John. For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works I am doing—testify about Me that the Father has sent Me. ³⁷ And the Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form,

¹⁷ Even in your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid. ¹⁸ I am One who testifies about Myself, and the Father, who sent Me, also testifies about Me.”

²⁸ Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” ²⁹ The crowd standing there heard it and said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him. ³⁰ In response, Jesus said, “This voice was not for My benefit, but yours.

⁵⁰ And I know that His command leads to eternal life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”

⁶ This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ—not by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies to this, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷ For there are three that testify: ⁸ the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement. ⁹ Even if we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony that God has given about His Son.
