² But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.

⁸ This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do.

¹² I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread.

⁸ I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart.”

¹ Hallelujah! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments.

¹ Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the LORD.

¹¹ I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.

¹⁵ I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways. ¹⁶ I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

³⁵ Direct me in the path of Your commandments, for there I find delight.

⁴⁷ I delight in Your commandments because I love them. ⁴⁸ I lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love, and I meditate on Your statutes.

⁷² The law from Your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.

⁹² If Your law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction.

⁹⁷ Oh, how I love Your law! All day long it is my meditation. ⁹⁸ Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me. ⁹⁹ I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation.

¹⁶ Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words became my joy and my heart’s delight. For I bear Your name, O LORD God of Hosts.

³⁷ and then was a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.

⁷ Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He continue to defer their help?

²² For in my inner being I delight in God’s law.

⁹ Surely you recall, brothers, our labor and toil. We worked night and day so that we would not be a burden to anyone while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

¹⁵ Be diligent in these matters and absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.

³ I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as did my forefathers, as I constantly remember you night and day in my prayers.
