³¹ For their rock is not like our Rock, even our enemies concede.

³ My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation. My stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior, You save me from violence.

²¹ Why do You not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For soon I will lie down in the dust; You will seek me, but I will be no more.”

He said: I love You, O LORD, my strength. ² The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my helper and deliverer; O my God, do not delay.

⁷ My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.

¹⁷ Hide not Your face from Your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me quickly!

² In Your justice, rescue and deliver me; incline Your ear and save me. ³ Be my rock of refuge, where I can always go. Give the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress.

⁷ Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails. Do not hide Your face from me, or I will be like those who descend to the Pit.

¹⁷ Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise—apply your mind to my knowledge—

¹⁶ he will dwell on the heights; the mountain fortress will be his refuge; his food will be provided and his water assured.

⁸ I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”

⁵⁶ Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.

¹² No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
