^{6 (123:6)} Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us for a prey to their teeth.

⁹ The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoils; I will satisfy my soul, I will destroy with my sword, my hand shall have dominion. ¹⁰ Thou sentest forth thy wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty water.

³⁰ Will they not find him dividing the spoil? he will surely be gracious to every man: there are spoils of dyed garments for Sisara, spoils of various dyed garments, dyed embroidered garments, they are the spoils for his neck. ³¹ Thus let all thine enemies perish, O Lord: and they that love him shall be as the going forth of the sun in his strength. ^(5:32) And the land had rest forty years.
