¹³ Therefore let he that speaks in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

²⁴ For this reason I say to you, all things whatsoever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive them, and they will be yours.

¹³ And whatever you may ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you should ask anything in My name, I will do it.

¹⁴ These were continuing with one mind in prayer and petition, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

²⁹ Now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, ³⁰ by extending Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may occur through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." ³¹ And when they had prayed, the place where they were gathered was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

²⁷ If anyone speaks in an unknown tongue, let it be by two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. ²⁸ But if there is no interpreter, let him be silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God.
