¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring with Him those who die in Jesus.

¹⁹ Gad, a plundering troop shall plunder him; but he shall plunder him, pursuing him closely.

¹⁹ The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice; for the dew from You is healing to them; but the land of the ungodly shall perish.

¹⁵ And this shall be the overthrow of the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the beasts that are in those camps, according to this overthrow.

³¹ And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit indwelling in you.

¹² Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? ¹³ But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. ¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain and your faith also is vain! ¹⁵ And we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we bore witness concerning God, that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise--if in fact the dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, then neither has Christ been raised. ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins! ¹⁸ Then also those who have died in Christ have perished. ¹⁹ If in this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. ²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have died. ²¹ For since by a man death came, also by a Man comes the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. ²³ But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then those who belong to Christ at His coming.

¹³ And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak, ¹⁴ knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us through Jesus, and will present us together with you.

²⁰ For our citizenship exists in heaven, from which also we eagerly await for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹ who will transform our lowly body, that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subject all things to Himself.

¹³ so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

¹³ Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.

¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

¹ Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we beseech you,

¹⁴ Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, ¹⁵ to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly among them about all their ungodly deeds which they have committed impiously, and about all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."

¹⁸ I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of heaven saying, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on,' "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them."
