³ And they said to him, The God of the Hebrews has called us to Him: we will go, therefore, on a three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest at any time death or slaughter happen to us.

¹⁸ And they shall hearken to your voice, and you and the elders of Israel shall go in to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and you shall say to him, The God of the Hebrews has called us. We will go then a journey of three days into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to our God.

²¹ The Lord shall cause the pestilence to cleave to you, until He has consumed you off the land into which you go to inherit it.

²⁵ And it was so at the beginning of their establishment there, that they feared not the Lord, and the Lord sent lions among them, which killed some of them.

⁸ And now harden not your hearts, as your fathers did; give glory to the Lord God, and enter into His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, and He shall turn away His fierce anger from you.

²³ Let whatever is in the decree of the God of heaven be done. Take heed lest anyone make an attack against the house of the God of heaven, lest at any time there shall be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons.

¹¹ Thus says the Lord: Clap with your hand, and stamp with your foot and say, Aha, aha! For all the abominations of the house of Israel; they shall fall by the sword, and by pestilence, and by famine.

¹⁶ And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall be left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, shall come up every year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁷ And it shall come to pass, that whichever of all the families of the earth shall not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, even these shall be added to the others. ¹⁸ And if the family of Egypt shall not go up, nor come; then upon them shall be the plague with which the Lord shall smite all the nations, whichever of them shall not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁹ This shall be the sin of Egypt, and the sin of all the nations, those that shall not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
