¹⁵ For now I will stretch forth My hand and smite you and kill your people, and you shall be consumed from off the earth.

²⁰ and I will stretch out My hand, and smite the Egyptians with all My wonders, which I shall work among them, and after that he will send you forth.

³ behold, the hand of the Lord shall be upon your cattle in the fields, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen and on the sheep — a very great pestilence.

⁶ And the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of the Egyptians died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel not one died.

¹⁶ And for this purpose have you been preserved, that I might display My strength in you, and that My name might be published in all the earth.

⁴ And Moses said, Thus says the Lord: About midnight I will go forth into the midst of Egypt. ⁵ And every firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sits on the throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant that is by the mill, and to the firstborn of all cattle. ⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as never before, the likes of which shall not be repeated again.

²⁹ And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the captive in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all cattle. ³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up by night, and his servants, and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in all the land of Egypt, for there was not a house in which there was not one dead.

²⁸ And the water returned and covered the chariots and the riders, and all the forces of Pharaoh, who entered after them into the sea; and there was not so much as one of them left.

³⁴ And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to its destruction and its removal from the face of the earth.
