¹³ You were in the delight of the paradise of God; you were adorned with every precious stone — the sardius, topaz, emerald, carbuncle, sapphire, jasper, silver, gold, ligure, agate, amethyst, chrysolite, beryl and onyx; and you have filled your treasures and your stores in you with gold.

⁸ And God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and placed there the man whom He had formed.

¹¹ The name of the one is Pishon, this it is which encircles the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. ¹² And the gold of that land is good, there also is carbuncle and emerald.

¹¹ Your glory has come down to Hades, and your great mirth; under you they shall spread corruption, and the worm shall be your covering.

¹⁶ Take a harp, go about, O city, you harlot that have been forgotten; play well on the harp, sing many songs, that you may be remembered.

³² And it shall happen to him from every side, that they from whom their hope of assistance was, in which he trusted, themselves shall war against Him in turn with drums and with harps.

³ And now I will comfort you, O Zion; and I have comforted all her desert places; and I will make her desert places as a garden, and her western places as the garden of the Lord; they shall find in her gladness and exaltation, thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

¹¹ Afflicted and outcast, you have not been comforted; behold, I will prepare carbuncle for your stones, and sapphire for your foundations; ¹² and I will make your buttresses jasper, and your gates crystal, and your border precious stones.

³⁰ Turn, rest not in this place in which you were born: in your own land will I judge you.

¹³ And he shall destroy the multitude of your musicians, and the sound of your psalteries shall be heard no more.

¹⁶ even men as your merchandise, from the multitude of your trading population, myrrh and embroidered works from Tarshish. Ramoth also and Chorchor furnished your market.

²² The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, these were your merchants, with choice spices, and precious stones; and they brought gold to your market.

¹⁵ You were faultless in your days, from the day that you were created, until iniquity was found in you.

⁸ And such cypresses as these were in the paradise of God; and there were no pines like his shoots, and there were no firs like his branches; no tree in the paradise of God was like him in his beauty, ⁹ because of the multitude of his branches. And the trees of God's Paradise of Delight envied him.

³⁵ And they shall say, That desolate land has become like a garden of delight; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are inhabited.

³ Before them is a consuming fire, and behind them is a flame kindled; the land before them is as a paradise of delight, and behind them a desolate plain, and none of them shall escape.

⁷ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of My God." '

⁴ And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup being filled with abominations and the filthiness of the fornication of the earth.

¹⁹ The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, ²⁰ the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
