¹⁹ And Jacob said to his father, I, Esau your firstborn, have done as you told me: come, sit and eat of my venison, that your soul may bless me.

²⁵ And the first came out red, hairy all over like a garment; and she called his name Esau.

⁴ and prepare some meats for me, as I like them, and bring them to me that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.

²¹ And Isaac said to Jacob, Come close to me, and I will feel you, son, if you are my son Esau or not.

¹⁵ Because you have said, We have made a covenant with Hades, and agreements with death; if the rushing storm should pass, it shall not come upon us; we have made falsehood our hope, and by falsehood shall we be protected.

³ And it shall come to pass, if a man will yet prophesy, that his father and his mother which gave birth to him shall say to him, You shall not live; for you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother who gave him birth shall bind him as he is prophesying. ⁴ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed, everyone of his vision, when he prophesies; and they shall clothe themselves with a garment of hair, because they have lied.
