¹⁰ And the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; and he killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

¹⁶ And she departed, and sat down opposite him at a distance, as it were about a bowshot, for she said, Surely I cannot see the death of my child: and she sat opposite him, and the child cried aloud and wept.

³⁴ For how shall I go up to my father, if the lad is not with us? Lest I behold the evils which will befall my father.

⁷ And he killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters, and brought him to Babylon.

¹⁸ And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the high priest, and Zephaniah the second in order, and the three doorkeepers. ¹⁹ And they took out of the city one eunuch who was commander of the men of war, and five men that saw the face of the king, that were found in the city, and the secretary of the commander-in-chief, who took account of the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land that were found in the city. ²⁰ And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. ²¹ And the king of Babylon struck them and killed them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away from his land.

³⁰ Write this man down as childless; for by no means shall his seed ever grow up to sit on the throne of David, or be as a prince yet in Judah.

²⁴ And the captain of the guard took the chief priest, and the second priest, and those that kept the way; ²⁵ and one eunuch, who was over the men of war, and seven men of renown, who were in the king's presence that were found in the city; and the scribe of the forces, who did the part of a scribe to the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the midst of the city. ²⁶ And Nabuzaradan the captain of the king's guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. ²⁷ And the king of Babylon struck them in Riblah, in the land of Hamath.

⁶ Utterly slay old man and youth, and virgin and infants and women: but do not go near any on whom is the mark: begin at My sanctuary. So they began with the elder men who were within in the house.

⁷ Therefore thus says the Lord: Your dead whom you have smitten in the midst of it, these are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. ⁸ You fear the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord. ⁹ And I will bring you forth out of the midst of it, and will deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. ¹⁰ You shall fall by the sword; I will judge you on the mountains of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord. ¹¹ (TEXT OMITTED)
