¹⁶ And this shall turn to me for salvation, for fraud shall have no entrance before Him.

² He was to me a helper and protector for salvation: this is my God and I will glorify Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

¹³ Thus then shall be the end of all that forget the Lord: for the hope of the ungodly shall perish.

⁸ For what is the hope of the ungodly, that he holds to it? Will he indeed trust in the Lord and be saved? ⁹ Will God hear his prayer? Or when distress has come upon him, ¹⁰ has he any confidence before Him? Or will God hear him as he calls upon Him?

¹³ And the hypocrites in heart will array wrath against themselves; they will not cry, because He has bound them.

¹ A Psalm of David, before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my Savior; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defender of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

⁶ For He is my God and my Savior; my helper, I shall not be moved. ⁷ In God is my salvation and my glory; He is the God of my help, and my hope is in God.

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and my song, and has become my salvation.

²¹ I will give thanks to You; because You have heard me, and have become my salvation.
