¹⁶ And let the weak have hope, but the mouth of the unjust be stopped.

⁷ But among all the children of Israel shall not a dog snarl with his tongue, either at man or beast; that you may know how wide a distinction the Lord will make between the Egyptians and Israel.

⁸ He lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises the needy from the dunghill; to seat him with the princes of the people, and causing them to inherit the throne of glory; ⁹ granting his petition to him that prays; and He blesses the years of the righteous, for by strength cannot man prevail.

¹⁸ For the poor shall not be forgotten forever; the patience of the needy ones shall not perish forever.

¹¹ But the king shall rejoice in God; everyone that swears by Him shall be praised; for the mouth of them that speak unjust things has been stopped.

⁴² The upright shall see and rejoice; and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

³² And what shall the kings of the nations answer? That the Lord has founded Zion, and by Him the poor of the people shall be saved.

¹² You shall dwell in strongholds, you prisoners of the congregation: and for one day of your captivity I will recompense you double.

¹⁹ Now we know that as many things as the law says, it speaks to those under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
