⁴ And he commanded them, saying, Go, and lie in ambush behind the city: do not go far from the city, and you shall all be ready.

¹⁶ And they pursued after the children of Israel, and they themselves went to a distance from the city.

²⁵ And the men of Shechem set men in ambush against him on the top of the mountains, and robbed everyone who passed by them on the way. And it was reported to Abimelech the king.

²⁹ And the children of Israel set an ambush against Gibeah round about it.
