²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

^{15 (3:16)} And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

³ And I will bless those that bless you, and curse those that curse you, and in you shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.

¹⁸ And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.

⁴ And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven; and I will give to your seed all this land, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in your seed.

¹⁰ A ruler shall not fail from Judah, nor a prince from his loins, until there come the things stored up for him; and He is the expectation of nations.

⁶ And the Lord sent among the people deadly serpents, and they bit the people, and many people of the children of Israel died. ⁷ And the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against you: pray therefore to the Lord, and let Him take away the serpent from us. ⁸ And Moses prayed to the Lord for the people; and the Lord said to Moses, Make for yourself a serpent, and put it on a staff; and it shall come to pass that whenever a serpent shall bite a man, everyone so bitten that looks upon it shall live. ⁹ And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a staff. And it came to pass that whenever a serpent bit a man, and he looked on the bronze serpent, he lived.

¹⁵ The Lord your God shall raise up to you a Prophet from among your brethren, like me; Him shall you hear,

¹² And it shall come to pass when your days have been fulfilled, and you sleep with your fathers, that I will raise up your seed after you, even from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. ¹³ He shall build for Me a house for My name, and I will set up his throne, even forever. ¹⁴ I will be to him a father, and he shall be to Me a son. And when he happens to transgress, then will I chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men. ¹⁵ But My mercy I will not take from him, as I took it from those whom I removed from My presence. ¹⁶ And his house shall be made sure, and his kingdom forever before Me, and his throne shall be established forever.

⁹ Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exalted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: ¹⁰ because You will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

¹¹ The Lord has sworn in truth to David, and He will not annul it, saying, Of the fruit of your body will I set a king upon your throne.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Emmanuel.

⁶ For a Child is born to us, and a Son is given to us, whose government is upon His shoulder; and His name is called the Messenger of great counsel; for I will bring peace upon the princes, and health to Him. ⁷ His government shall be great, and of His peace there is no end; it shall be upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to establish it, and to support it with judgment and with righteousness, from this time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this.

¹⁰ Behold the Lord! The Lord is coming with strength, and His arm is with power; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. ¹¹ He shall tend His flock as a shepherd, and He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and He shall soothe them that are with young.

⁶ I gave my back to scourges, and my cheeks to blows; and I turned not away my face from the shame of spitting;

¹³ Behold, My servant shall understand, and be exalted, and glorified exceedingly. ¹⁴ As many shall be amazed at You, so shall Your face be without glory from men, and Your glory shall not be honored by the sons of men.

¹ O Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? ² We brought a report as of a child before Him; He is as a root in a thirsty land; He has no form, nor comeliness; and we saw Him, but He had no form nor beauty. ³ But His form was ignoble, and inferior to that of the children of men; He was a man in suffering, and acquainted with the bearing of sickness, for His face has turned from us; He was dishonored, and not esteemed. ⁴ He bears our sins, and is pained for us; yet we accounted Him to be in trouble, and in suffering, and in affliction. ⁵ But He was wounded on account of our sins, and was bruised because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; everyone has gone astray in his way; and the Lord gave Him up for our sins. ⁷ And He, because of His affliction, opened not His mouth; He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so He opened not His mouth. ⁸ In His humiliation His judgment was taken away; who shall declare His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth; because of the iniquities of My people He was led to death. ⁹ And I will give the wicked for His burial, and the rich for His death; for He practiced no iniquity, nor craft with His mouth. ¹⁰ The Lord also is pleased to purge Him from His stroke. If you give an offering for sin, Your soul shall see a long-lived seed; ¹¹ the Lord also is pleased to take away from the travail of His soul, to show Him light, and to form Him with understanding; to justify the just one who serves many well; and He shall bear their sins. ¹² Therefore He shall inherit many, and He shall divide the spoils of the mighty; because His soul was delivered to death; and He was numbered among the transgressors; and He bore the sins of many, and was delivered up because of their transgressions.

⁵ Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous branch, and a king shall reign and understand, and shall execute judgment and righteousness on the earth. ⁶ In his days both Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell securely. And this is his name, which the Lord shall call Him, Josedek among the prophets.

²³ And I will raise up one shepherd over them, and he shall tend them, even My servant David, and he shall be their shepherd;

²⁵ And they shall dwell in their land, which I have given to My servant Jacob, where their fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell upon it; and David My servant shall be their prince forever.

¹³ I beheld in the night vision, and behold, One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks have been determined upon your people, and upon the holy city, for sin to be ended, to seal up transgressions, to blot out iniquities, to make atonement for iniquities, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ And you shall know and understand, that from the going forth of the command for the answer and for the building of Jerusalem, until Christ the Prince, there shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks; and then the time shall return, and the street shall be built, and the wall, and the times shall be exhausted. ²⁶ And after the sixty-two weeks, the Anointed One shall be killed, and there is no judgment in Him. And He shall destroy the city and the sanctuary with the prince that is to come: they shall be cut off with a flood, and to the end of the war which is rapidly completed He shall appoint the city to desolations.

² And you, Bethlehem, house of Ephratha, are few in number to be reckoned among the thousands of Judah; yet out of you shall one come forth to Me, to be a ruler of Israel; and His goings forth were from the beginning, even from eternity. ³ Therefore shall He appoint them to wait till the time of her that labors: she shall bring forth, and then the remnant of their brothers shall return to the children of Israel. ⁴ And the Lord shall stand, and see, and feed His flock with power, and they shall dwell in the glory of the name of the Lord their God: for now shall they be magnified to the ends of the earth.

²⁰ He shall give blessings truly to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers, according to the former days.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; proclaim it aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, your King is coming to you, righteous, and your Savior; He is meek and riding on a donkey, a young foal of a donkey.

⁷ Awake, O sword, against My shepherds, and against the man who is My citizen, says the Lord Almighty; strike the shepherds, and draw out the sheep: and I will bring My hand upon the little ones.

¹ Behold, I send forth My messenger, and he shall survey the way before Me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come into His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you take pleasure in: behold, He is coming, says the Lord Almighty. ² And who will abide the day of His coming? Or who will withstand at His appearing? For He is coming in as the fire of a furnace and as the herb of fullers. ³ He shall sit to melt and purify as it were silver, and as it were gold: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver, and they shall offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.

² But to you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise, and healing shall be in His wings: and you shall go forth, and bound as young calves let loose from bonds.

²⁵ Then He said to them, "O you foolish, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

⁴⁴ Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."

⁴⁵ Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found the One about whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the Prophets--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

³⁹ You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about Me.

⁴⁵ Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you--Moses, in whom you have hoped. ⁴⁶ For if you believed Moses, you would have believed Me; for he wrote about Me. ⁴⁷ But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?"

²² For Moses said to the fathers, 'The LORD our God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

²⁴ Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and his successors, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.

³⁷ "This is that Moses who said to the sons of Israel, 'The LORD our God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers.

⁴³ To Him all the prophets bear witness, that through His name, everyone believing in Him shall receive forgiveness of sins."

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor the voices of the Prophets which are being read according to each Sabbath, condemning him, they fulfilled the Scriptures. ²⁸ And finding no cause for death, they asked Pilate that He be executed. ²⁹ And when they finished all the things having been written about Him, taking Him down from the tree, they put Him in a tomb. ³⁰ But God raised Him from the dead;

¹⁰ And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
