⁵⁰ And He led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up His hands, He blessed them.

¹⁸ And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth loaves and wine, and he was the priest of the Most High God. ¹⁹ And he blessed Abram, and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, who made heaven and earth, ²⁰ and blessed be the Most High God, who delivered your enemies into your power. And Abram gave him a tithe of all.

⁴ and prepare some meats for me, as I like them, and bring them to me that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.

⁹ And Joseph said to his father, They are my sons, whom God gave me here. And Jacob said, Bring them to me, that I may bless them.

²⁸ All these are the twelve sons of Jacob; and their father spoke these words to them, and he blessed them; he blessed each of them according to his blessing.

²³ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the children of Israel, saying to them, ²⁴ The Lord bless you and keep you; ²⁵ the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and have mercy upon you; ²⁶ the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. ²⁷ And they shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I the Lord will bless them.

¹⁷ And having left them, He went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.

¹⁶ And taking them in His arms, laying His hands on them, He blessed them.

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, towards the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;

¹² Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.

⁵ And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to collect tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brothers, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; ⁶ but the one not tracing his descent from them has received tithes from Abraham, and he has blessed the one having the promises. ⁷ Now without any contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better.
