¹³ When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

² I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been remaining with Me three days and have nothing to eat.

¹⁹ And summoning two if his disciples, John sent them to Jesus, saying, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?"

⁵² Now all were weeping and mourning for her; but He said, "Do not weep; she is not dead, but asleep."

¹ Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and He sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to come.

¹⁵ The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

⁵ And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."

⁶¹ And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."

² Now it was that Mary who had anointed the Lord with myrrh, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

³³ Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. ³⁴ And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see." ³⁵ Jesus wept.

¹³ Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they put Him."

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom do you seek?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You carried Him away, tell me where You put Him, and I will take Him away."

³⁰ and those weeping as though not weeping, and those rejoicing as though not rejoicing, and those buying as though not possessing,

¹³ Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.

¹⁷ Therefore He was obligated to become like His brothers in all respects, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, in order that He might make propitiation for the sins of the people.

¹⁵ For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but having been tempted in all respects in quite the same way as we are, yet without sin.
