³⁰ And having gone out from there they were passing through Galilee, and He did not wish that anyone should know.

²² And while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, ²³ and they will kill Him, and on the third day He shall be raised." And they were exceedingly sorrowful.

²² Pilate said to them, "What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?" They all said to him, "Let Him be crucified!" ²³ Then the governor said, "Why, what evil did He do?" But they cried out all the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified!"

³¹ And He said to them, "Come you yourselves privately to a deserted place and rest a little." For there were many coming and going, and they were not even finding opportunity to eat. ³² And they went away to a deserted place in the boat privately.

⁴³ And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, ⁴⁴ Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men." ⁴⁵ But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying.
