⁶ He is not here! For He is risen, just as He said. Come; see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁴⁰ For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

²¹ From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go off to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised the third day.

⁹ And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead."

²³ and they will kill Him, and on the third day He shall be raised." And they were exceedingly sorrowful.

¹⁹ and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He shall rise again."

³¹ Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me on this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' ³² "But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee."

⁶³ saying, "Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while He was still alive, 'After three days I will rise.'

³¹ And He began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise.

⁶ But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You are seeking Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has arisen! He is not here! See the place where they put Him.

⁶ He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, ⁷ saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.' " ⁸ And they remembered His words.

¹² But Peter rose up and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen strips lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

²³ And not finding His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.

⁴⁴ Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."

¹⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

¹⁷ Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it up again.

⁴ And the two together were running, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. ⁵ And stooping to look in, he saw the linen strips lying there; however he did not go in. ⁶ Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb; and he saw the linen strips lying there, ⁷ and the facecloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen strips, but apart from them, having been rolled up in one place. ⁸ Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. ⁹ For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
