Behold, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. ¹⁰ Who has calculated the seed of Jacob, and who shall number the families of Israel? Let my soul die with the souls of the righteous, and let my seed be as their seed. ¹¹ And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? Shall He speak and not keep His word? ²⁰ Behold, I have received commandment to bless: I will bless, and not turn back. ²¹ There shall not be trouble in Jacob, neither shall sorrow be seen in Israel; the Lord his God is with him, the glories of rulers are in him. ²² It was God who brought him out of Egypt; he has the glory of a unicorn. ²³ For there is no divination in Jacob, nor enchantment in Israel; in season it shall be told to Jacob and Israel what God shall perform. ²⁴ Behold, the people shall rise up as a lion's whelp, and shall exalt himself as a lion; he shall not lie down till he has eaten the prey, and he shall drink the blood of the slain. ²⁵ And Balak said to Balaam, Neither curse the people at all for me, nor bless them at all. ²⁶ And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, Whatsoever thing God shall speak to me, that will I do? ²⁷ And Balak said to Balaam, Come, I will take you to another place, if it shall please God, and curse them for me from there. ²⁸ And Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, which extends to the wilderness. ²⁹ And Balaam said to Balak, build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves, and seven rams. ³⁰ And Balak did as Balaam told him, and offered a calf and a ram on every altar.

²⁴ You shall make to Me an altar of earth; and upon it you shall sacrifice your whole burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, and your sheep and your calves in every place, where I shall record My name; and I will come to you and bless you.

¹ And you shall make an altar of incorruptible wood, of five cubits in the length, and five cubits in the breadth; the altar shall be square, and the height of it shall be three cubits. ² And you shall make the horns on the four corners; the horns shall be of the same piece, and you shall overlay them with brass. ³ And you shall make a rim for the altar; and its covering and its cups, and its flesh-hooks, and its fire-pan, and all its vessels shall you make of brass. ⁴ And you shall make for it a network of bronze; and you shall make for the network four bronze rings under the four sides. ⁵ And you shall put them below under the rim of the altar, and the network shall extend to the middle of the altar. ⁶ And you shall make for the altar poles of incorruptible wood, and you shall overlay them with brass. ⁷ And you shall put the poles into the rings; and let the poles be on the sides of the altar to carry it. ⁸ You shall make it hollow with boards. According to what was shown to you on the mount, so you shall make it.

³² On the seventh day seven calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without blemish.

²² And Samuel said, Does the Lord take as great pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in hearing the words of the Lord? Behold, obedience is better than a good sacrifice, and hearkening than the fat of rams.

²² And whereas you have said to me, We trust on the Lord God: is not this He, whose high places and altars Hezekiah has removed, and has said to Judah and Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

²⁶ And it came to pass when God strengthened the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they sacrificed seven calves and seven rams.

²¹ And he brought seven calves, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven kids of goats for a sin-offering, for the kingdom, and for the holy things, and for Israel. And he told the priests, the sons of Aaron, to go up to the altar of the Lord.

⁸ Now then take seven bullocks, and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and he shall offer a burnt offering for you. And My servant Job shall pray for you, for I will only accept him: for but his sake, I would have destroyed you, for you have not spoken the truth against My servant Job.

⁸ I will not reprove you on account of your sacrifices; for your whole burnt offerings are before Me continually. ⁹ I will take no bulls out of your house, nor male goats out of your flocks.

⁸ The sacrifices of the ungodly are an abomination to the Lord, but the prayers of them that walk honestly are acceptable to Him.

¹¹ Of what value to Me is the abundance of your sacrifices? Says the Lord; I am full of whole burnt offerings of rams; and I delight not in the fat of lambs, and the blood of bulls and goats; ¹² neither shall you come with these to appear before Me; for who has required these things at your hands? You shall no more tread My court. ¹³ Though you bring fine flour, it is futile; incense is an abomination to Me; I cannot bear your new moons, and your Sabbaths, and the great day; ¹⁴ your fasting, and rest from work, your new moons also, and your feasts My soul hates; you have become loathsome to Me; I will no more pardon your sins. ¹⁵ When you stretch forth your hands, I will turn away My eyes from you; and though you make many supplications, I will not hearken to you; for your hands are full of blood.

³¹ They approach you as a people that come together, and sit before you, and hear your words, but they will not do them; for there is falsehood in their mouth, and their heart goes after their pollutions.

²³ And for the seven days of the feast he shall offer as whole burnt offerings to the Lord seven calves and seven rams without blemish daily for the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering, and a meat offering.

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

¹¹ Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and in the error of Balaam they have rushed for profit, and have perished in the rebellion of Korah.

³¹ And God opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the Angel of the Lord withstanding him in the way, and His sword drawn in His hand, and he stooped down and worshipped on his face. ³² And the Angel of the Lord said to him, Why have you struck your donkey this third time? And behold, I came out to withstand you, for your way is unseemly before Me. And when the donkey saw Me, she turned away from Me this third time. ³³ And if she had not turned out of the way, surely now, I would have killed you, and would have saved her alive. ³⁴ And Balaam said to the Angel of the Lord, I have sinned, for I did not know that You were standing opposite in the way to meet me; and now, if it shall not be pleasing to You for me to go on, I shall return. ³⁵ And the Angel of the Lord said to Balaam, Go with the men: nevertheless the word which I shall speak to you, you shall take heed to speak. And Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

¹⁵ And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your sacrifice, and I will go to inquire of God.

¹ Now when Balaam saw that it pleased God to bless Israel, he did not go according to his custom, to seek to use sorcery, but turned his face toward the wilderness.

⁹ And God came to Balaam, and said to him, Who are these men with you?

²⁰ And God came to Balaam by night, and said to him, If these men have come to call you, rise and follow them; nevertheless the word which I shall speak to you, this shall you do.

¹⁶ And God met Balaam, and put a word into his mouth, and said, Return to Balak, and thus shall you speak.

³ saying, Why have we fasted, and You did not see? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You did not know it? Nay, in the days of your fasts you find your pleasures, and all them that are under your power you wound. ⁴ If you fast for quarrels and strife, and strike the lowly with your fists, why do you fast to Me as you do this day, so that your voice may be heard in crying?

¹² saying, 'These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.'

¹² I fast twice a week, I tithe on all things, as many as I acquire.'

² They will excommunicate you; but a time is coming when everyone who kills you will think that he is offering God a service.

²⁷ Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. Through what law? Of works? No, but through the law of faith.

³⁵ And the Angel of the Lord said to Balaam, Go with the men: nevertheless the word which I shall speak to you, you shall take heed to speak. And Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

¹⁸ I will raise up to them a Prophet from among their brethren, like you; and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them as I shall command Him.

Let now the astrologers of the heaven stand and deliver you, let them that see the stars tell you what is about to come upon you.

⁵ And now if you will indeed hear My voice, and keep My covenant, you shall be to Me a peculiar people above all nations; for the whole earth is Mine. ⁶ And you shall be to Me a royal priesthood and a holy nation. These words shall you speak to the children of Israel.

¹⁶ And how shall it be surely known, that both I and this people have found favor with You, except only if You go with us? So both I and Your people shall be glorified beyond all the nations, as many as are upon the earth.

⁸ When the Most High divided the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God.

²⁸ And Israel shall dwell in confidence alone on the land of Jacob, with grain and wine; and the sky shall be misty with dew upon you.

² For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and their sons, and the holy seed has passed among the nations of the lands, and the hand of the rulers has been first in this transgression.

⁸ And he spoke to King Artaxerxes, saying, There is a nation scattered among the nations in all your kingdom, and their laws differ from those of all the other nations; and they disobey the laws of the king. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them alone.

²⁸ Fear not, My servant Jacob, says the Lord; for I am with you. She that was without fear and in luxury, has been delivered up; for I will make a full end of every nation among whom I have thrust you forth. But I will not cause you to fail. Yet will I chastise you in the way of judgment, and will not hold you entirely guiltless.

⁹ For I will give commandment, and sift the house of Israel among all the Gentiles, as grain is sifted in a sieve, and yet a fragment shall by no means fall upon the earth.

⁸ Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, in order to confirm the promises to the fathers, ⁹ and that the Gentiles might glorify God on behalf of His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to Your name." ¹⁰ And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!"

¹⁷ Therefore "Come out from the midst of them and be separated," says the Lord. "Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."

¹² that at that time you were apart from Christ, being estranged from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope and atheists in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have come to be near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and who destroyed the dividing wall of separation,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people as His own possession, zealous for good works.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

¹⁶ And I will make your seed like the dust of the earth; if anyone is able to number the dust of the earth, then shall your seed be numbered.

¹⁷ surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is by the shore of the sea, and your seed shall inherit the cities of their enemies.

¹⁴ And your seed shall be as the sand of the earth; and it shall spread abroad to the sea, and the south, and the north, and to the east; and in you and in your seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.

⁹ All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: they shall move first with their forces.

¹⁶ All who were numbered of the camp of Reuben were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty: they with their forces shall proceed in the second place.

²¹ Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: ²² whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come-all things are yours.

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible should put on incorruption, and this mortal should put on immortality, then will come to pass the word which was written: "Death was swallowed up in victory." ⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" ⁵⁶ Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹ For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made by hand, eternal in the heavens.

²¹ For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ²² But if I am to live on in the flesh, this to me will mean fruit from my labor; and what I shall choose I do not know. ²³ For I am hard pressed by the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.

⁶ For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has arrived. ⁷ I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.

¹³ But I consider it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by a reminder, ¹⁴ knowing that the putting off of my tent is soon, just as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. ¹⁵ And I will make an effort also, whenever necessary, to cause you to have a reminder of these things after my departure.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of heaven saying, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on,' "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them."

¹⁰ And Balak was angry with Balaam, and clapped his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, I called you to curse my enemy, and behold you have decidedly blessed him this third time.

² because they met not the children of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam against them to curse them, but our God turned the curse into a blessing.

¹⁷ He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; and he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him. ¹⁸ Yea, he put on cursing as a garment, and it has come as water into his bowels, and as oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as a garment which he puts on, and as a girdle with which he girds himself continually. ²⁰ This is the dealing of the Lord with those who falsely accuse me, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

³⁸ And Balaam said to Balak, Behold, I have now come to you: shall I be able to say anything? The word which God shall put into my mouth, that I shall speak.

²⁶ And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, Whatsoever thing God shall speak to me, that will I do?

¹³ If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I shall not be able to transgress the word of the Lord to make it good or bad by myself; whatsoever things God shall say, them will I speak.

²⁵ Though your enemy intreat you with a loud voice, consent not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

¹⁸ For such people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and through smooth speech and flattering, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.

¹⁶ They profess to know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

⁴¹ And it was morning; and Balak took Balaam, and brought him up to the pillar of Baal, and showed him from there the extent of the people.

⁹ And Balak, king of Moab, son of Siphor, rose up, and made war against Israel, and sent and called Balaam to curse us.

²³ And the servants of the king of Syria said, The God of Israel is a God of mountains, and not a God of valleys; therefore has he prevailed against us; but if we should fight against them in the plain, verily we shall prevail against them.

²⁸ Then the man of God came, and said to the king of Israel, Thus says the Lord: Because Syria has said, The Lord God of Israel is a God of the hills, and He is not a God of the valleys, therefore will I give this great army into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

¹⁷ He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; and he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him.

⁵ O My people, remember now, what counsel Balak king of Moab took against you, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, from the reeds to Gilgal; that the righteousness of the Lord might be known.

⁹ With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are created according to the likeness of God. ¹⁰ Out of the same mouth come blessings and curses. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

²⁰ And Moses sent ambassadors to Sihon king of the Amorites, with peaceable words, saying,

¹ And Balaam said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves, and seven rams. ² And Balak did as Balaam told him; and he offered up a calf and a ram on every altar.

²⁷ Go up to the top of the quarried rock, and look with your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with your eyes, for you shall not go over this Jordan.

¹ And Moses went up from the plains of Moab, to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is before Jericho; and the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan, and all the land of Nephthali,

¹⁰ Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; attend to the law of God, you people of Gomorrah. ¹¹ Of what value to Me is the abundance of your sacrifices? Says the Lord; I am full of whole burnt offerings of rams; and I delight not in the fat of lambs, and the blood of bulls and goats;

⁶ They that furnish gold out of a purse, and silver by weight, will weigh it in a scale, and they hire a goldsmith and make idols, and bow down, and worship them.

¹¹ If Gilead exists not, then the chiefs in Gilead when they sacrificed were false, and their altars were as heaps on the ground of the field.

⁸ And he said to them, Tarry here the night, and I will answer you the things which the Lord shall say to me. And the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

³ And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your sacrifice, and I will go and see if God will appear to me and meet me, and the word which He shall show me, I will report to you. And Balak stood by his sacrifice.

⁵ And God put a word into the mouth of Balaam, and said, you shall return to Balak, and thus shall you speak.

¹⁷ And he said, What was the word that was spoken to you? I pray you do not hide it from me: may God do these things to you, and more also, if you hide from me anything of all the words that were spoken to you in your ears.

¹⁷ Then Zedekiah sent, and called him; and the king asked him secretly, saying, Is there a word from the Lord? And he said, There is. You shall be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon.

²⁰ And Ehud went in to him; and he sat alone in his own upper summer chamber. And Ehud said, I have a message from God for you, O king. And Eglon rose up from his throne near to him.

²⁹ And Israel shall be divided in two: and God will not turn nor repent, for He is not as a man to repent.

¹⁷ And these things were little in Your sight, O God; You have also spoken concerning the house of Your servant for a long time to come, and You have looked upon me as a man looks upon his fellow, and have exalted me, O Lord God.

³⁵ Once have I sworn by My holiness, that I will not lie to David.

⁹ I will not act according to the fury of My wrath, I will not abandon Ephraim to be utterly destroyed: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in your midst; and I will not enter into the city.

²⁰ He shall give blessings truly to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers, according to the former days.

³ For the vision is yet for a time, and it shall shoot forth at the end, and not in vain: though he should tarry, wait for him; for he will surely come, and will not tarry.

⁶ For I am the Lord your God, and I change not;

³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.

²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

² in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time itself,

¹⁸ in order that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled to take hold of the hope being set before us;

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

² And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you and magnify your name, and you shall be blessed.

¹⁸ And Balaam answered and said to the princes of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I shall not be able to go beyond the word of the Lord God, to make it little or great in my mind.

¹³ even from the beginning; and there is none that can deliver out of My hands; I will work, and who shall turn it back?

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. ²⁸ And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.

³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵ who by the power of God are being guarded through faith for the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

²¹ And God led them in the day by a pillar of cloud, to show them the way, and in the night by a pillar of fire.

⁴⁵ And I will be called upon among the children of Israel, and will be their God. ⁴⁶ And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, to be called upon by them, and to be their God.

¹⁴ And He said, I Myself will go before you, and give you rest. ¹⁵ Then he said to Him, If You go not up with us Yourself, do not bring me up from here. ¹⁶ And how shall it be surely known, that both I and this people have found favor with You, except only if You go with us? So both I and Your people shall be glorified beyond all the nations, as many as are upon the earth.

⁹ and said, If I have found grace in Your sight, let my Lord go with us; for the people are stiff-necked: and You shall take away our sins and our iniquities, and we will be Yours.

⁵ And he shall be prince with the beloved one, when the princes of the people are gathered together with the tribes of Israel.

¹³ And Gideon said to him, Be gracious with me, my Lord: but if the Lord is with us, why have these evils found us? And where are all His miracles, which our fathers have related to us, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt? And now He has cast us out, and given us into the hand of Midian.

¹² And behold, the Lord and His priests are with us at our head, and the signal trumpets to sound an alarm over us. Children of Israel, fight not against the Lord God of our fathers; for you shall not prosper.

⁴ Yea, though I walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

² Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin, and in whose mouth there is no guile.

⁵ I acknowledged my sin, and hid not my iniquity; I said, I will confess my iniquity to the Lord; and You forgave the ungodliness of my heart. Pause.

¹⁵ Blessed are the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. ¹⁶ And in Your name shall they rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness shall they be exalted. ¹⁷ For You are the boast of their strength; and in Your good pleasure shall our horn be exalted, ¹⁸ for our help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our King.

¹ For David, when his land was established. The Lord reigns, let the earth exalt, let many islands rejoice.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

¹⁵ The voice of exaltation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord has done mightily.

¹⁸ And come, let us reason together, says the Lord; and though your sins be as purple, I will make them white as snow; and though they be as scarlet, I will make them white as wool.

¹⁰ And whatever counsel you shall take, the Lord shall bring it to nought; and whatever word you shall speak, it shall not stand among you; for God is with us.

⁶ Exalt and rejoice, you that dwell in Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is exalted in the midst of her.

²² For my God is great; the Lord our judge shall not pass me by; the Lord is our prince, the Lord is our king; the Lord, He shall save us.

¹⁷ For You have chosen my soul, that it should not perish; and You have cast all my sins behind me.

¹⁰ Fear not; for I am with you; wander not; for I am your God, who has strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with My righteous right hand.

²⁰ In those days, and at that time, they shall seek for the iniquity of Israel, and there shall be none; and for the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found; for I will be merciful to them that are left

³⁵ The circumference, eighteen thousand measures. And the name of the city, from the day that it shall be finished, shall be THE LORD IS THERE.

² Take with you words, and turn to the Lord your God. Speak to Him, that you may not receive the reward of unrighteousness, but that you may receive good things; and we will render in return the fruit of our lips. ³ Assyria shall never save us; we will not mount on horseback; we will no longer say to the works of our hands, Our gods. ¹⁸ Who is a God like You, canceling iniquities, and passing over the sins of the remnant of His inheritance? And He has not kept His anger for a testimony, for He delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will return and have mercy upon us; He will sink our iniquities, and they shall be cast into the depth of the sea, even all our sins. ²⁰ He shall give blessings truly to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers, according to the former days.

²³ "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

³⁷ And as He was approaching the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, ³⁸ saying: " 'Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!' Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! "

⁷ "Blessed are they whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins were covered over; ⁸ Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall by no means impute sin."

¹⁴ For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and making known through us the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

¹⁹ that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their transgressions to them, and committing to us the word of this reconciliation.

¹⁶ And what union is there for the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁶ And for this purpose have you been preserved, that I might display My strength in you, and that My name might be published in all the earth.

¹⁸ And all the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I am glorified upon Pharaoh and upon his chariots and his horses.

² I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁵ And he sent ambassadors to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, which is on a river of the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, a people have come out of Egypt, and behold, they have covered the face of the earth, and have encamped close to me.

⁸ God led him out of Egypt; he has as it were the glory of a unicorn. He shall consume the nations of his enemies, and he shall drain their marrow, and with his darts he shall shoot through the enemy.

¹⁷ His beauty is as the firstborn bull, his horns are the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasseh.

⁹ And will the unicorn be willing to serve you, or to lie down at your manger? ¹⁰ And will you bind his yoke with thongs, or will he plow valleys for you in the plain? ¹¹ And do you trust him, because his strength is great? And will you commit your works to him?

²¹ Save Me from the lion's mouth; and regard My lowliness from the horns of the unicorns.

³⁵ God is wonderful in His holy places, the God of Israel; He will give power and strength to His people; blessed be God.

¹⁰ But my horn shall be exalted as the horn of a unicorn; and my old age with rich mercy.

^{15 (3:16)} And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

⁶ And now come here, and curse this people for me, for they are stronger than us. Perhaps we may be able to smite some of them, and cast them out of the land; for I know that whomsoever you bless, they are blessed, and whomsoever you curse, they are cursed. ⁷ And the elders of Moab went, and the elders of Midian, and their divining instruments were in their hands; and they came to Balaam, and spoke to him the words of Balak.

²² And Balaam the son of Beor the prophet they killed in the battle.

¹⁹ How abundant is the multitude of Your goodness, O Lord, which You have laid up for them that fear You! You have wrought it out for them that hope on You, in the presence of the sons of men.

¹ For the end, A Psalm for instruction, for the sons of Korah. O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, the deeds which You did in their days, in the days of old. ² Your hand utterly destroyed the heathen, and You planted them; You afflicted the nations, and cast them out. ³ For they inherited not the land by their own sword, and their own arm did not deliver them; but Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You were well pleased with them.

⁹ and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood His deeds.

² Then was our mouth filled with joy, and our tongue with exaltation; then would they say among the Gentiles, The Lord has done great things among them. ³ The Lord has done great things for us, we became joyful.

¹³ To Him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁴ and brought Israel through the midst of it; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁵ and overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for His mercy endures forever. ¹⁶ To Him who led His people through the wilderness; for His mercy endures forever. ¹⁷ To Him who struck down great kings; for His mercy endures forever; ¹⁸ and slew mighty kings; for His mercy endures forever: ¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorites; for His mercy endures forever; ²⁰ and Og king of Bashan; for His mercy endures forever;

⁴ Who has performed and done these things? He has called it who called it from the generations of old; I God, the first and to all futurity, I AM.

⁹ out of all their affliction; not an ambassador, nor a messenger, but He Himself saved them, because He loved them and spared them; He Himself redeemed them, and took them up, and lifted them up all the days of old. ¹⁰ But they disobeyed, and provoked His Holy Spirit; so He turned to be an enemy, He Himself contended against them. ¹¹ Then he remembered the days of old, saying, Where is He that brought up from the sea the shepherd of the sheep? Where is He that put His Holy Spirit in them? ¹² Who led Moses with His right hand, the arm of His glory? He forced the water to separate from before him, to make Himself an everlasting name.

¹⁵ And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made to Yourself a name, as it is this day; we have sinned, we have transgressed.

⁴ For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, and sent before you Moses, and Aaron, and Miriam. ⁵ O My people, remember now, what counsel Balak king of Moab took against you, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, from the reeds to Gilgal; that the righteousness of the Lord might be known.

¹⁵ And according to the days of your departure out of Egypt shall you see marvelous things.

²⁵ But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them: "Every kingdom being divided against itself is made desolate, and every city or house being divided against itself shall not stand.

²⁷ And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

¹⁸ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I shall build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

¹⁸ And He said to them, "I saw Satan having fallen like lightning out of heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

⁴⁷ Therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, "What are we doing? For this Man works many signs.

¹⁶ saying, "What shall we do to these men? For indeed, that a known sign has come to pass by them is evident to all those who are dwelling in Jerusalem, and we are not able to deny it.

¹² Now by the hands of the apostles, many signs and wonders took place among the people. And they were all with one mind in Solomon's Porch.

¹⁴ And more than ever, believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

³⁸ Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.

¹² Then all the multitude stopped speaking and listened to Barnabas and Paul telling as many signs and wonders as God had done among the Gentiles through them.

²⁰ And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

²³ But they heard only, "He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which at one time he was devastating." ²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁸ For from you the word of the Lord has resounded, not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything. ⁹ For they themselves report about us what kind of entrance we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁹ Judah is a lion's whelp: from the tender plant, my son, you have gone up. Having couched, you lie down like a lion, and as a whelp; who shall stir him up?

²⁷ Benjamin, as a ravening wolf, shall eat still in the morning, and at evening he gives food.

Those that bless you are blessed, and those that curse you are cursed.

¹⁷ I will point to Him, but not now; I bless Him, but He draws not near: a Star shall arise out of Jacob, a Man shall spring forth out of Israel; and shall crush the princes of Moab, and shall spoil all the sons of Seth.

²⁰ And to Gad he said, Blessed be the one that enlarges Gad: as a lion he rested, having broken the arm and the ruler.

¹² They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion's whelp dwelling in secret places.

³⁰ A lion's whelp, stronger than all other beasts, which turns not away, nor fears any beast;

⁴ For thus said the Lord unto me, As a lion would roar, or a lion's whelp over prey which he has taken, and cry over it, until the mountains are filled with his voice, and the animals are awe-struck and tremble at the fierceness of his wrath; so the Lord of hosts shall descend to fight upon Mount Zion, even upon her mountains.

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and His kingdom shall not be left to another people, but it shall beat to pieces and grind to powder all other kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

⁸ A lion shall roar, and who will not be alarmed? The Lord God has spoken, and who will not prophesy?

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many nations, as a lion in the forest among cattle, and as a lion's whelp among the flocks of sheep, even as when he goes through, and selects, and carries off his prey, and there is none to deliver. ⁹ Your hand shall be lifted up against them that afflict you, and all your enemies shall be utterly destroyed.

¹¹ Where is the dwelling place of the lions, and the feeding place of the young lions? Where did the lion go, that the lion's cub should enter in there, and there was none to scare him away?

⁴ And from Him he looked, and from Him He set the battle in order, and from Him came the bow in anger, and from Him shall come forth every oppressor together. ⁵ And they shall be as warriors treading clay in the ways in war; and they shall set the battle in array, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.

⁶ In that day I will make the captains of thousands of Judah as a firebrand among wood, and as a torch of fire in stubble; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the nations round about; and Jerusalem shall dwell again by herself, even in Jerusalem.

⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, to open the scroll and its seven seals."

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having names written, and a name written that no one knows except Himself. ¹³ And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses, having been dressed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the great supper of God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who ride on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, having been gathered together to make war against Him who rode on the horse and against His army. ²⁰ Then the Beast was apprehended, and with him the False Prophet who had performed the signs before him, by which he had deceived those who received the mark of the Beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain with the sword which proceeds from the mouth of Him who rode on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

¹ Why did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things? ² The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against His Christ; ³ saying, Let us break through Their bonds, and cast away Their yoke from us.

¹² And Balaam said to Balak, Whatsoever the Lord shall put into my mouth, shall I not take heed to speak this? ¹³ And Balak said to him, Come yet with me to another place where you shall not see the people, but you shall only see a part of them, and shall not see them all; and curse them for me from there.

¹² And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not speak to your messengers also whom you sent to me, saying, ¹³ If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I shall not be able to transgress the word of the Lord to make it good or bad by myself; whatsoever things God shall say, them will I speak.

¹⁴ And Micaiah said, As the Lord lives, whatsoever the Lord shall say to me, that will I speak.

¹³ And Micaiah said, As the Lord lives, whatever God shall say to me, that will I speak.

¹⁹ But Peter and John answered them and said, "Whether it is right before God to hear you rather than God, you judge. ²⁰ For we can do none other but to speak the things which we saw and heard.

²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered, and said: "We must obey God rather than men.

¹³ And Balak said to him, Come yet with me to another place where you shall not see the people, but you shall only see a part of them, and shall not see them all; and curse them for me from there.

¹⁹ God is not as a man that He should waver, nor as a son of man that He should be threatened; shall He say and not perform? Shall He speak and not keep His word? ²⁰ Behold, I have received commandment to bless: I will bless, and not turn back.

¹³ And if He too has thus judged, who is he that has contradicted, for He has both willed a thing and done it.

²¹ There are many thoughts in a man's heart, but the counsel of the Lord abides forever.

³⁰ There is no wisdom, there is no courage, there is no counsel against the ungodly.

²⁷ For what the Holy God has purposed, who shall frustrate? And who shall turn back His uplifted hand?

¹⁰ declaring beforehand the latter events before they come to pass, and they are accomplished together; and I said, all My counsel shall stand, and I will do all things that I have planned; ¹¹ calling a bird from the east, and from a land afar off, for the things which I have planned; I have spoken, and brought him; I have created and made him; I have brought him, and prospered his way.

²⁸ They were joined also to Baal of Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. And they provoked Him with their deeds;
