Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in You. ² I said to the Lord, You are my Lord; my goodness is nothing apart from You. ³ On behalf of the saints that are in His land, He has magnified all His pleasure in them. ⁴ Their weaknesses have been multiplied; afterward they hastened. I will by no means assemble their bloody meetings, neither will I make mention of their names with my lips. ⁵ The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: You are He that restores my inheritance to me. ⁶ The lines have fallen to me in the best places; yea, I have a most excellent heritage. ⁷ I will bless the Lord who has instructed me; my reins too have chastened me even till night. ⁸ I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. ⁹ Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exalted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: ¹⁰ because You will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. ¹¹ You have made known to me the ways of life; You will fill me with joy with Your countenance: at Your right hand there are delights forever.

¹⁴ And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where God spoke with him, even a pillar of stone; and offered a libation upon it, and poured oil upon it.

¹³ Observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and you shall make no mention of the name of other gods, neither shall they be heard out of your mouth.

²⁸ And you shall not make cuttings in your body for a dead body, and you shall not inscribe on yourselves any marks. I am the Lord your God.

¹³ And its grain offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a sacrifice to the Lord, an aroma of sweet savor to the Lord, and its drink offering the fourth part of a hin of wine.

⁶ all the days of his vow to the Lord: he shall not come near to any dead body,

⁹ And His people Jacob became the portion of the Lord, Israel was the line of His inheritance.

²² For a fire has been kindled out of My wrath, it shall burn to hell below; it shall devour the land, and the fruits of it; it shall set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

⁷ that you go not in among these nations that are left; and the names of their gods shall not be named among you, neither shall you serve them, neither shall you bow down to them.

⁴¹ And now, O Lord God, arise into Your resting place, You, and the ark of Your strength; let Your priests, O Lord God, clothe themselves with salvation, and Your sons rejoice in prosperity.

⁸ Heaven is high, and what will you do? And there are deeper things than those in hell; what do you know?

¹⁴ For if a man should die, shall he live again, having accomplished the days of his life? I will wait till I exist again. ¹⁵ Then shall You call, and I will answer You: but do not reject the work of Your hands.

²⁶ and to raise up upon the earth my skin that endures these sufferings: for these things have been accomplished to me of the Lord; ²⁷ which I am conscious of in myself, which my eye has seen, and not another, but all have been fulfilled to me in my bosom.

² Is it not the Lord that teaches understanding and knowledge? ³ For what does it matter to the Lord, if you were blameless in your works? Or is it profitable that you should perfect your way?

⁷ And suppose you are righteous, what will you give Him? Or what shall He receive from your hand? ⁸ Your ungodliness may affect a man such as you; or your righteousness a son of man.

⁶ But I have been made King by Him on Zion His holy mountain,

⁷ You have put gladness into my heart: they have been satisfied with the fruit of their grain and wine and oil. ⁸ I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, have caused me to dwell securely.

¹ A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush the Benjamite. O Lord my God, in You have I trusted: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me,

¹ For the end, concerning the winepresses, A Psalm of David. O Lord, our Lord, how wonderful is Your name in all the earth! For Your magnificence is exalted above the heavens.

⁴ For You have maintained my cause and my right; You sat on the throne, that judges in righteousness.

¹⁰ And let them that know Your name hope in You — for You, O Lord, have not failed them that diligently seek You.

¹⁷ Let sinners be driven away into Hades, even all the nations that forget God.

⁶ He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup.

⁵ He has not lent his money on usury, and has not received bribes against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

³ You has tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me; I am purposed that my mouth shall not speak amiss.

⁵ Direct my steps in Your paths, that my steps slip not.

⁸ Keep me as the apple of Your eye from those that resist Your right hand; You shall screen me by the covering of Your wings,

¹⁵ But I shall appear in righteousness before Your face: I shall be satisfied when Your glory appears.

¹ For the end, A Psalm of David. O Lord, the king shall rejoice in Your strength; and in Your salvation he shall greatly exalt. ² You have granted him the desire of his soul, and have not withheld from him the request of his lips. Pause. ³ For You have blessed him with blessings of goodness; You have set upon his head a crown of precious stone. ⁴ He asked life of You, and You gave him length of days forever and ever. ⁵ His glory is great in Your salvation; You will crown him with glory and majesty. ⁶ For You will give him a blessing forever and ever; You will gladden him with joy with Your countenance. ⁷ For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved. ⁸ Let Your hand be found by all Your enemies; let Your right hand find all that hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven at the time of Your presence; the Lord shall trouble them in His anger, and fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men. ¹¹ For they intended evil against You; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform. ¹² For You shall make them turn their back in Your latter end; You will prepare their face.

² O my God, I will cry to You by day, but You will not hear; and by night, and it shall not be reckoned to me as folly.

⁸ He hoped in the Lord; let Him deliver Him, let Him save Him, because He takes pleasure in Him.

⁵ You have prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; and Your cup cheers me like the best wine.

²⁰ Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed; for I have hoped in You.

⁸ My heart said to You, I have diligently sought Your face; Your face, O Lord, I will seek.

⁴ Sing to the Lord, you His saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of His holiness.

¹² that my glory may sing praise to You, and I may not be pierced with sorrow. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

¹⁴ But I hoped in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God.

²³ Love the Lord, all you His saints; for the Lord seeks those that are truthful, and He recompenses them that deal very proudly.

¹⁰ Many are the scourges of the sinner; but him that hopes in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.

⁷ How have You multiplied Your mercy, O God! So the children of men shall trust in the shelter of Your wings. ⁸ They shall be fully satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shall cause them to drink of the full stream of Your delights.

²⁸ For the Lord loves judgment, and will not forsake His saints; they shall be preserved forever; the blameless shall be avenged, but the seed of the ungodly shall be utterly destroyed.

⁸ By day the Lord will command His mercy, and manifest it by night; with me is prayer to the God of my life.

¹⁵ But God shall deliver my soul from the power of Hades, when He shall receive me. Pause.

⁹ I will take no bulls out of your house, nor male goats out of your flocks. ¹⁰ For all the wild beasts of the thicket are Mine, the cattle on the mountains, and oxen.

¹ For the end, concerning the people that were removed from the sanctuary, by David for a memorial, when the Philistines caught him in Gath. Have mercy upon me, O God; for man has trodden me down; all the day long his warring has afflicted me.

⁸ Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early.

⁶ You shall add days to the days of the king; You shall lengthen his years to all generations. ⁷ He shall endure forever before God. Which of them shall seek out His mercy and truth?

⁶ For He is my God and my Savior; my helper, I shall not be moved.

²¹ For my heart has rejoiced, and my heart has been gladdened.

²³ Yet I am continually with You. You have taken hold of my right hand. ²⁴ You have guided me by Your counsel, and You have taken me to Yourself with glory. ²⁵ For whom have I in heaven but You? And what have I desired upon the earth besides You? ²⁶ My heart and my flesh have failed; but God is the strength of my heart, and God is my portion forever.

² In the day of my affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; even with my hands by night before Him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.

⁶ And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, saying,

⁵⁵ And He cast out the nations from before them, and made them to inherit by a line of inheritance, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

¹² O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in You!

⁴ I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Pause.

²⁰ I have found David My servant; I have anointed him by My holy mercy. ²¹ For My hand shall support him; and My arm shall strengthen him. ²² The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again. ²³ And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him. ²⁴ But My truth and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name shall his horn be exalted. ²⁵ And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. ²⁶ He shall call upon Me, saying, You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.

²⁶ He shall call upon Me, saying, You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation. ²⁷ And I will make him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. ²⁸ I will keep My mercy for him forever, and My covenant shall be firm with him. ²⁹ And I will establish his seed forever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. ³⁰ If his children should forsake My law, and walk not in My judgments; ³¹ if they should profane My ordinances, and not keep My commandments; ³² I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges. ³³ But My mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong My truth. ³⁴ Neither will I by any means profane My covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of My lips. ³⁵ Once have I sworn by My holiness, that I will not lie to David. ³⁶ His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me; ³⁷ and as the moon that is established forever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.

² He shall say to the Lord, You are my helper and my refuge; my God; I will trust in Him.

⁷ Let all that worship graven images be ashamed, who boast of their idols; worship Him, all you His angels.

¹⁰ You that love the Lord, hate evil; the Lord preserves the souls of His saints; He shall deliver them from the hand of sinners.

⁶ My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walked in a perfect way, the same ministered to me.

³⁷ And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, ³⁸ and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was defiled with blood,

¹ Song of a Psalm by David. O God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory.

³¹ For He stood on the right hand of the poor, to save me from them that persecute my soul.

¹ A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool. ² The Lord shall send out the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies!

⁵ The Lord at Your right hand has dashed in pieces kings in the day of His wrath.

⁶ The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He delivered me.

¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

¹⁵ Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

⁷ I will give You thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learned the judgments of Your righteousness.

⁵⁵ I remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night, and kept Your law.

⁵⁷ You are my portion, O Lord; I said that I would keep Your law.

⁶³ I am a companion of all them that fear You, and of them that keep Your commandments.

¹⁴⁸ My eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on Your oracles.

⁵ The Lord shall keep you: the Lord is your shelter upon your right hand.

¹ A Song of Degrees. They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion: he that dwells in Jerusalem shall never be moved.

³ For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to be upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous should stretch forth their hands to iniquity.

¹¹ The Lord has sworn in truth to David, and He will not annul it, saying, Of the fruit of your body will I set a king upon your throne.

¹⁷ There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for My Anointed. ¹⁸ His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon Himself shall My holiness flourish.

⁸ If I should go up to heaven, You are there: if I should go down to hell, You are present.

¹⁸ I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with You.

²⁴ and see if there is any way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way.

⁵ I cried unto You, O Lord, and said, You are my hope, my portion in the land of the living.

⁵ Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

⁸ that He may guard the righteous ways: and He will preserve the way of them that fear Him.

¹⁹ None that go by her shall return, neither shall they take hold of right paths, for they have not apprehended of the years of life.

¹⁸ But the ways of the righteous shine like light; they go forth and shine, until the day has fully come.

⁶ For she goes not upon the paths of life; but her ways are slippery, and not easily known.

¹⁴ Counsel and safety are mine; prudence is mine, and strength is mine.

³¹ For He rejoiced when He had completed the world, and rejoiced among the children of men.

²⁶ A just arbitrator shall be his own friend, but mischief shall pursue sinners, and the way of ungodly men shall lead them astray.

²⁸ In the ways of righteousness is life, but the ways of those that remember injuries lead to death.

²⁰ If you walk with wise men you shall be wise, but he that walks with fools shall be known.

³² The ungodly shall be driven away in his wickedness, but he who is secure in his own holiness is just.

¹¹ Hell and destruction are manifest to the Lord, how shall not the hearts of men be, also?

²⁰ Hell and destruction are not filled, neither are the eyes of men ever satisfied. ^(27:20A) He that fixes his eye is an abomination to the Lord, and the uninstructed do not restrain their tongue.

¹ Behold, you are fair, my companion; behold, you are fair; your eyes are doves, beside your veil: your hair is as flocks of goats, that have appeared from Gilead. ² Your teeth are as flocks of shorn sheep, that have gone up from the washing; all of them bearing twins, and there is not a barren one among them. ³ Your lips are as a thread of scarlet, and your speech is comely: like the rind of a pomegranate is your cheek without your veil. ⁴ Your neck is as the tower of David, that was built for an armory: a thousand shields hang upon it, and all darts of mighty men. ⁵ Your two breasts are as two twin fawns, that feed among the lilies. ⁶ Until the day dawn, and the shadows depart, I will go my way to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. ⁷ You are all fair, my companion, and there is no spot in you.

¹⁰ I am my kinsman's, and his desire is toward me.

³ And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will tell us His way, and we will walk in it; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.

¹⁴ Therefore hell has enlarged its desire and opened its mouth without ceasing; and her glorious and great, and her rich and her pestilent men shall go down into it.

² and the Spirit of God shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness shall fill Him; ³ the spirit of the fear of God. He shall not judge according to appearance, nor reprove according to report; ⁴ but He shall judge the cause of the lowly, and shall reprove the lowly of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the word of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He destroy the ungodly one.

⁹ Hell from beneath is provoked to meet you; all the great ones that have ruled over the earth have risen up together against you, they that have raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

³ supporting truth, and keeping peace; for on You, O Lord, ⁴ they have trusted with confidence forever, the great, eternal God;

⁹ which our soul longs for; my spirit seeks You very early in the morning, O God, for Your commandments are a light on the earth; learn righteousness, you that dwell upon the earth.

¹³ O Lord our God, take possession of us; O Lord, we know not any other beside You; we name Your name.

¹⁹ The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice; for the dew from You is healing to them; but the land of the ungodly shall perish.

¹ Jacob is My servant, I will help him; Israel is My elect, My soul has accepted him; I have put My Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

⁵ One shall say, I am God's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write with his hand, I am God's, and shall call himself by the name of Israel.

¹⁷ Thus says the Lord that delivered you, the Holy One of Israel; I am your God, I have shown you how you should find the way in which you should walk.

⁴ The Lord, even God, gives me the tongue of instruction, to know when it is fit to speak a word; He has appointed for me early, He has given me an ear to hear;

¹² Therefore He shall inherit many, and He shall divide the spoils of the mighty; because His soul was delivered to death; and He was numbered among the transgressors; and He bore the sins of many, and was delivered up because of their transgressions.

⁶ That is your portion, this is your lot; and to them have you poured forth drink offerings, and to these have you offered meat offerings. Shall I not therefore be angry for these things?

⁴ And you shall no more be called Forsaken; and your land shall no more be called Desert; for you shall be called My Pleasure, and your land Inhabited; for the Lord has taken pleasure in you, and your land shall be inhabited.

¹¹ But you are they that have left Me, and forget My holy mountain, and prepare a table for the devil, and fill up the drink offering to Fortune.

³ But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to Me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as one that offers swine's blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.

¹⁹ And I said, So be it, Lord, for You said I will set you among children, and will give you a choice land, the inheritance of the Almighty God of the Gentiles. And I said, You shall call me Father; and you shall not turn away from Me.

¹⁸ Their children gather wood, and their fathers kindle a fire, and their women knead dough, to make cakes to the host of heaven; and they have poured out drink offerings to strange gods, that they might provoke Me to anger.

¹⁶ Such is not the portion of Jacob; for He that formed all things, He is his inheritance; the Lord is His name.

² You have planted them, and they have taken root; they have begotten children, and become fruitful; You are near to their mouth, but far from their mind.

⁷ But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. ⁸ And he shall be as a thriving tree by the waters, and he shall cast forth his root toward a moist place. He shall not fear when heat comes, and there shall be shady branches upon him; he shall not fear in a year of drought, and he shall not fail to bear fruit.

¹⁰ I, the Lord, search the hearts, and test the mind, to give to everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruits of his doings.

²⁴ The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I wait for Him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks have been determined upon your people, and upon the holy city, for sin to be ended, to seal up transgressions, to blot out iniquities, to make atonement for iniquities, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

¹⁶ And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord, that she shall call Me, My husband, and shall no longer call me Baalam. ¹⁷ And I will take away the names of Baalam out of her mouth, and their names shall be remembered no more at all.

¹⁷ Therefore thus says the Lord; Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be measured with the line; and you shall die in an unclean land; and Israel shall be led captive out of his land. Thus has the Lord God showed me.

² Though they hid themselves in hell, from there shall My hand drag them forth; and though they go up to heaven, from there will I bring them down.

^{8 (2:9)} Those that observe vanities and lies have forsaken their own mercy.

⁹ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will try them as silver is tried, and I will prove them as gold is proved: they shall call upon My name, and I will hear them, and say, This is My people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

¹⁷ And they shall be Mine, says the Lord Almighty, in the day which I appoint for a peculiar possession; and I will make choice of them, as a man makes choice of his son that serves him.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

¹⁴ How narrow the gate, and confined the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it!

³³ And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on His left.

⁴⁶ "And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

¹⁹ So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

³⁵ And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy Baby which is to be born shall be called the Son of God.

³⁴ saying, "Ah! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"

Yes, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight." ²² And turning to His disciples He said, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."

²³ And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom.

¹⁰ So likewise you, whenever you do all the things having been commanded to you, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. We have done what we ought to do.' "

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' "

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

⁵⁶ and he said, "Behold! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!"

¹³ But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how many wicked things he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem;

³⁵ "Therefore also in another Psalm He says, 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.' ³⁶ "For David indeed in his own generation, having served by the purpose of God, died, and was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; ³⁷ but He whom God raised up did not see corruption. ³⁸ Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this Man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit indwelling in you.

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer together, so that we may also be glorified together.

²¹ Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: ²² whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come-all things are yours. ²³ And you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

¹² For now we see through a mirror by reflection, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

²⁵ For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet.

⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

⁵⁰ Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor can corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all die, but we shall all be changed-- ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ So when this corruptible should put on incorruption, and this mortal should put on immortality, then will come to pass the word which was written: "Death was swallowed up in victory." ⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"

⁹ Yes, we have had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,

¹⁷ For our momentary light affliction is working out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let us work what is good toward all, but especially toward those who are of the household of faith.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:

¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

¹⁸ And do not get drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

²⁵ Husbands, love your own wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, ²⁶ in order that He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless.

⁹ Therefore God also has highly exalted Him, and has graciously given Him a name which is above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹³ Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope. ¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring with Him those who die in Jesus.

¹² For which cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him until that Day.

¹² If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

⁸ Faithful is this word, and concerning these things I want you to strongly affirm, so that those who have believed in God may take thought to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king; for he endured as seeing the Unseen One.

² looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

⁵ Even so the tongue is a small member and it boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. Thus the tongue is set among our members, as that which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. ⁷ For every kind of both beasts and birds, of both reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. ⁸ But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unrestrainable evil, full of deadly poison. ⁹ With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are created according to the likeness of God.

²¹ who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

²² who having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to Him.

² Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death. ¹⁵ Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have come to know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives in behalf of our brothers. ¹⁷ But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother having need, and shuts off his compassion towards him, how does the love of God abide in him?

²⁴ Now to Him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to make you stand before His glory, blameless with exultation,

¹⁸ I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

²³ I will kill her children by death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

²¹ He that overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. ¹⁶ They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; nor shall the sun by any means strike them, nor any scorching heat; ¹⁷ because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to the springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

⁹ Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the Beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ then he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb. ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the Beast and his image, and anyone who receives the mark of his name."

⁴ And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you participate in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. ⁵ Because her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works.

⁵ And night shall not exist. and there shall not be a need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.
