Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in my innocence; and hoping in the Lord I shall not be moved. ² Prove me, O Lord, and try me; purify as with fire my mind and my heart. ³ For Your mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with Your truth. ⁴ I have not sat with the council of vanity, and shall by no means enter in with transgressors. ⁵ I have hated the assembly of evildoers; and will not sit with the ungodly. ⁶ I will wash my hands in innocence, and compass Your altar, O Lord; ⁷ to hear the voice of praise, and to declare all Your wonderful works. ⁸ O Lord, I have loved the beauty of Your house, and the place of the tabernacle of Your glory. ⁹ Destroy not my soul together with the ungodly, nor my life with bloody men; ¹⁰ in whose hands are iniquities, and their right hand is filled with bribes. ¹¹ But I have walked in my innocence; redeem me, and have mercy upon me. ¹² My foot stands in an even place; in the congregations will I bless You, O Lord.

⁸ And you shall not receive gifts; for gifts blind the eyes of the seeing, and corrupt just words.

²¹ And you shall set the mercy seat on the ark above, and you shall put into the ark the testimonies which I shall give you. ²² And I will make Myself known to you from there, and I will speak to you from above the mercy seat between the two cherubim, which are upon the Ark of Testimony, even in all things which I shall charge you concerning the children of Israel.

¹⁹ And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet with water from it. ²⁰ Whenever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness, they shall wash themselves with water, so they shall not die, whenever they advance to the altar to do service and to offer the whole burnt offerings to the Lord.

³⁴ And the cloud covered the tabernacle of witness, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord. ³⁵ And Moses was not able to enter into the tabernacle of testimony, because the cloud overshadowed it, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord.

¹⁹ they shall not pervert judgment, nor favor persons, nor receive a gift; for gifts blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

² that you shall take of the first of the fruits of your land, which the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put them into a basket, and you shall go to the place which the Lord your God shall choose to have His name called there. ³ And you shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and you shall say to him, I testify this day to the Lord my God, that I have come into the land which the Lord swore to our fathers to give to us. ⁴ And the priest shall take the basket out of your hands, and shall set it before the altar of the Lord your God; ⁵ and he shall answer and say before the Lord your God, My father abandoned Syria, and went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a small number, and became there a mighty nation and a great multitude. ⁶ And the Egyptians afflicted us, and humbled us, and imposed hard tasks on us, ⁷ and we cried to the Lord our God, and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our humiliation, and our labor, and our affliction. ⁸ And the Lord brought us out of Egypt Himself with His great strength, and His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm, and with great visions, and with signs, and with wonders. ⁹ And He brought us into this place, and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. ¹⁰ And now behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which you gave me, O Lord, a land flowing with milk and honey; and you shall leave it before the Lord your God, and you shall worship before the Lord your God;

²⁴ And she went up with him to Shiloh with a calf of three years old, and loaves, and an ephah of fine flour, and a bottle of wine. And she entered into the house of the Lord in Shiloh, and the child with them.

²⁷ For I have prayed for this child; and the Lord has given me my request that I asked of Him.

⁹ granting his petition to him that prays; and He blesses the years of the righteous, for by strength cannot man prevail.

³ And his sons did not walk in his ways, and they turned aside after gain, and took gifts, and perverted judgments.

² And now behold, the king goes before you; and I have grown old and shall rest. And look, my sons are among you; I have gone about before you from my youth to this day. ³ Behold, here am I, answer against me before the Lord and before His anointed. Whose calf have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or who among you have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I taken a bribe, even as much as a sandal? Bear witness against me, and I will make restitution to you. ⁴ And they said to Samuel, You have not injured us, and you have not oppressed us; and you have not afflicted us, and you have not taken anything from anyone's hand. ⁵ And Samuel said to the people, The Lord is witness among you, and His anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything in my hand. And they said, He is witness.

¹⁸ And the king said to Doeg, Turn, and fall upon the priests: and Doeg the Syrian turned, and killed the priests of the Lord in that day, three hundred and five men, all wearing an ephod. ¹⁹ And he struck Nob, the city of the priest, with the edge of the sword, both man and woman, infant and suckling, calf and ox, and also sheep.

³ Moreover, because I took pleasure in the house of my God, I have gold and silver which I have procured for myself, and behold, I have given them to the house of my God over and above, beyond what I have prepared for the holy house.

¹⁴ Remember me, O God, in this, and let not my kindness be forgotten which I have wrought in regard to the house of the Lord God.

²² And I told the Levites who were purifying themselves, and came and kept the gates, that they should sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O God, for these things, and spare me according to the abundance of Your mercy.

³¹ And the offering of the wood-bearers was at certain set times, and in the times of the firstfruits. Remember me, O our God, for good.

¹ There was a certain man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was true, blameless, righteous, and godly, abstaining from everything evil.

²³ How many are my sins and my transgressions? Teach me what they are.

⁴ Will He not see my way, and number all my steps? ⁵ But if I had gone with scorners, and if my foot too has hastened to deceit: ⁶ (for I am weighed in a just balance, and the Lord knows my innocence:)

¹ Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of evil men.

⁵ Offer the sacrifice of righteousness, and trust in the Lord.

⁸ The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me. ⁹ Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and then You shall direct the righteous, O God that searches the hearts and minds.

¹ For the end, A Psalm of David, concerning the secrets of the Son. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all Your wonderful works.

¹⁴ that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in Your salvation.

¹⁴ You see it; for You observe trouble and wrath, to deliver them into Your hands; the poor has been left to You; You are a helper to the orphan.

² For behold the sinners have bent their bow, they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot secretly at the upright in heart.

² He that walks blameless, and works righteousness, who speaks truth in his heart.

³ You has tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me; I am purposed that my mouth shall not speak amiss.

⁷ For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved.

²² I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the church will I sing praise to You. ²³ You that fear the Lord, praise Him; all you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him; let all the seed of Israel fear Him. ²⁴ For He has not despised nor been angry at the supplication of the poor; nor turned away His face from Me; but when I cried to Him, He heard Me. ²⁵ My praise is of You in the great congregation; I will pay My vows before them that fear Him.

⁴ He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor.

² O my God, I have trusted in You; let me not be confounded, neither let my enemies laugh me to scorn.

⁵ Lead me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are God my Savior; and I have waited on You all the day.

²¹ The harmless and upright joined themselves to me; for I waited for You, O Lord.

⁴ One thing have I asked of the Lord, this will I earnestly seek; that I should dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life, that I should behold the fair beauty of the Lord, and survey His temple. ⁵ For in the day of my afflictions He hid me in His tabernacle; He sheltered me in the secret of His tabernacle; He set me up on a rock. ⁶ And now, behold, He has lifted up my head over my enemies; I went round and offered in His tabernacle the sacrifice of joy; I will sing, I will sing psalms unto the Lord.

¹¹ Teach me, O Lord, in Your way, and guide me in a right path, because of my enemies.

¹ A Psalm of David. To You, O Lord, have I cried; my God, be not silent toward me; lest You be silent toward me, and so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit. ² Hearken to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to You, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy temple. ³ Draw not away my soul with sinners, and destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors, but evil are in their hearts.

⁷ The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in Him, and I am helped; my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to Him.

⁶ You have hated them that idly persist in vanities; but I have hoped in the Lord.

¹⁴ But I hoped in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God.

²⁴ Judge me, O Lord, according to Your righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them not rejoice against me.

⁴ He devises iniquity on his bed; he gives himself to every evil way; and does not abhor evil.

³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; and his steps shall not slide.

² And He brought me up out of a pit of misery, and from miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.

⁴ I remembered these things, and poured out my soul in me, for I will go to the place of Your wondrous tabernacle, even to the house of God, with a voice of exaltation and thanksgiving and of the sound of those who keep festival.

⁴ And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth; I will give thanks to You on the harp, O God, my God.

⁷ a brother does not redeem, shall a man redeem? He shall not give to God a ransom for himself,

¹⁵ But God shall deliver my soul from the power of Hades, when He shall receive me. Pause.

¹⁴ Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; and my tongue shall joyfully declare Your righteousness.

¹ For the end, A Psalm of instruction by David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said to him, David has gone to the house of Abimelech. Why do you, O mighty man, boast of iniquity in your mischief? All the day ² your tongue has devised unrighteousness; like a sharpened razor you have worked deceit.

⁹ Destroy, O LORD, and divide their tongues, for I have seen iniquity and gainsaying in the city. ¹⁰ Day and night he shall go round about it upon its walls; iniquity and sorrow and unrighteousness are in the midst of it; ¹¹ and usury and craft have not failed from its streets.

²³ But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; bloody and crafty men shall not live out half their days; but I will hope in You, O Lord.

¹⁷ O God, You have taught me from my youth, and until now will I declare Your wonders; ¹⁸ even until I am old and advanced in years. O God, forsake me not; until I have declared Your mighty arm to all the generation that is to come; ¹⁹ even Your power and Your righteousness, O God, up to the highest heavens, even the mighty works which You have done; O God, who is like You?

¹⁸ Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, who alone does wonders.

¹³ And I said, Verily in vain have I justified my heart, and washed my hands in innocence.

¹ For the end, A Psalm for the sons of Korah, concerning the winepresses. How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! ² My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh have exalted in the living God.

¹⁰ For one day in Your courts is better than thousands. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God, than dwell in the tents of sinners.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. ¹¹ Truth has sprung out of the earth; and righteousness has looked down from heaven. ¹² For the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield its fruit. ¹³ Righteousness shall go before Him; and shall make His footsteps our pathway.

¹¹ Guide me, O Lord, in Your way, and I will walk in Your truth; let my heart rejoice, that I may fear Your name.

¹⁸ If I said, My foot has been moved;

² Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to Him with psalms.

⁴ Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him, praise His name. ⁵ For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures from generation to generation.

² and I will be wise in a blameless way. When will You come to me? I walked in the innocence of my heart, in the midst of my house. ³ I have not set before my eyes any unlawful thing; I have hated transgressors. ⁴ A perverse heart has not cleaved to me; I have not known an evil man, forasmuch as he turns away from me. ⁵ Him that secretly speaks against his neighbor, him have I driven from me; he that is proud in look and insatiable in heart — with him I have not eaten. ⁶ My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walked in a perfect way, the same ministered to me. ⁷ He that is proud dwelled not in the midst of my house; the unjust speaker prospered not in my sight. ⁸ Early did I slay all the sinners of the land, that I might destroy out of the city of the Lord all that work iniquity.

³ who forgives all your transgressions, who heals all your diseases; ⁴ who redeems your life from corruption; who crowns you with mercy and compassion;

⁷ He made known His ways to Moses, and His will to the children of Israel. ⁸ The Lord is compassionate and gracious, longsuffering, and full of mercy.

² Sing to Him, yea, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonderful works.

³² Let them exalt Him in the congregation of the people, and praise Him in the seat of the elders.

¹ Alleluia. I will give You thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

¹² What shall I render to the Lord for all the things in which He has rewarded me? ¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. ¹⁴ I will pay my vows to the Lord, in the presence of all His people.

¹⁸ I will pay my vows unto the Lord, in the presence of all His people, ¹⁹ in the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem.

¹⁹ Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.

²⁷ God is the Lord, and He has shined upon us; celebrate the feast with thick branches, binding the victims even to the horns of the altar.

²⁷ Instruct me in the ways of Your statutes; and I will meditate on Your wondrous works.

⁶³ I am a companion of all them that fear You, and of them that keep Your commandments.

¹¹⁵ Depart from me, You evildoers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.

¹⁴² Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth.

³ Let not your foot be moved; and let not your keeper slumber.

⁷ May the Lord preserve you from all evil; the Lord shall keep your soul. ⁸ The Lord shall keep your coming in, and your going out, from this time forth and forever.

⁵ And they shall speak of the glorious majesty of Your holiness, and recount Your wonders.

⁶ Forsake folly, that you may reign forever; and seek wisdom, and improve understanding by knowledge.

⁹ He that walks simply, walks confidently, but he that perverts his ways shall be known.

¹¹ He that tills his own land shall be satisfied with bread; but they that pursue vanities are void of understanding. ^(12:11A) He that enjoys himself in banquets of wine, shall leave dishonor in his own strongholds.

²⁰ If you walk with wise men you shall be wise, but he that walks with fools shall be known.

⁷ He that walks blameless in justice shall leave his children blessed.

²⁵ Those fearing and reverencing men unreasonably have been overthrown, but he that trusts in the Lord shall rejoice. Ungodliness causes a man to stumble, but he that trusts in his master shall be safe.

¹⁶ Wash, and be clean; remove your iniquities from your souls before My eyes; cease from your iniquities; ¹⁷ learn to do well; diligently seek judgment, deliver him that is suffering wrong, plead for the orphan, and obtain justice for the widow. ¹⁸ And come, let us reason together, says the Lord; and though your sins be as purple, I will make them white as snow; and though they be as scarlet, I will make them white as wool.

⁵ And now, O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

²⁰ For He has given the law for a help, that they should not speak according to this word, concerning which there are no gifts to give for it.

¹² O Lord, You who tests the righteous, and who understands the mind and heart, let me see Your vengeance upon them: for to You I have revealed my cause.

¹² In you they have received gifts to shed blood; they have received in you interest and usurious increase; and by oppression you have brought your wickedness to the full, and have forgotten Me, says the Lord. ¹³ And if I shall smite My hand at your iniquities which you have accomplished, which you have wrought, and at your blood that has been shed in the midst of you,

¹² For I know your many transgressions, and your sins are great, trampling on the just, taking bribes, and turning aside the judgment of the poor in the gates.

¹ They meditated troubles, and wrought wickedness on their beds, and they put it in execution with the daylight; for they have not lifted up their hands to God. ² And they desired fields, and plundered orphans, and oppressed families, and spoiled a man and his house, even a man and his inheritance. ³ Therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I devise evils against this family, out of which you shall not lift up your necks, neither shall you walk upright speedily: for the time is evil.

³ They prepare their hands for mischief, the prince asks a reward, and the judge speaks flattering words; it is the desire of their soul;

⁹ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will try them as silver is tried, and I will prove them as gold is proved: they shall call upon My name, and I will hear them, and say, This is My people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

¹¹ Judah has been forsaken, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holy things of the Lord, which He delighted in, and has gone after other gods. ¹² The Lord will utterly destroy the man that does these things, until he be even cast down from out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and from among them that offer sacrifice to the Lord Almighty. ¹³ And these things which I hated, you did: you covered with tears the altar of the Lord, and with weeping and groaning because of troubles: is it right for Me to have respect for your sacrifice, or to receive anything from your hands as welcome?

¹⁸ Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, and between him that serves God, and him that serves Him not.

²³ Therefore if you offer your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, ²⁴ leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

⁴⁴ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, ⁴⁵ so that you may prove to be sons of your Father in heaven; because He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and He sends rain on the just and on the unjust. ⁴⁶ For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? ⁴⁷ And if you greet your friends only, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? ⁴⁸ You therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

¹¹ And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" ¹² When Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but those who are ill.

⁵¹ and he will cut him in two, and will appoint his share with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

³² All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

⁴⁴ "Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and we did not minister to You?'

⁴⁶ "And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

³ Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people were assembled into the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, ⁴ and plotted to take Jesus by guile and kill Him.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

⁴⁶ Now it came to pass that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them and questioning them.

⁴⁹ And He said to them, "Why is it that you were seeking Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"

³⁶ Therefore be compassionate, just as your Father also is compassionate.

³⁷ And as He was approaching the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, ³⁸ saying: " 'Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!' Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! " ³⁹ And some of the Pharisees said to Him from the crowd, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples." ⁴⁰ But He answered and said to them, "I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out."

⁴⁵ And when He entered into the temple, He began to drive out those buying and selling in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.' " ⁴⁷ And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people were seeking to destroy Him,

¹⁴ And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting there. ¹⁵ And having made a scourge out of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and He poured out the coins of the moneychangers, and He overturned the tables. ¹⁶ And He said to those selling the doves, "Take these things away from here! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!" ¹⁷ Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal for Your house will consume Me."

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

¹² Now when it was day, some of the Jews joined in a conspiracy and bound themselves by a curse, saying neither would they eat nor drink until they would kill Paul.

³ But to me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a human court. Indeed, I do not even judge myself. ⁴ For I am conscious of nothing, but I have not been justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. ⁵ So then judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who also will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make clear the purposes of the hearts. Then each one's praise shall come from God. ⁶ Now these things, brothers, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, in order that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.

⁹ I wrote to you in my epistle not to associate with fornicators. ¹⁰ Yet I certainly did not mean with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world! ¹¹ But now I write to you not to associate with anyone named a brother, who is a fornicator, or covetous person, or an idolater, or abusive person, or a drunkard, or a swindler--not even to eat with such a person.

²⁸ But let a man examine himself, and in this way let him eat from the bread and drink from the cup. ²⁹ For he that eats and drinks irreverently eats and drinks judgment to himself, not judging correctly the body of the Lord.

³³ Do not be deceived: "Evil associations corrupts good habits."

¹² For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we have conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and especially toward you.

¹⁸ But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ compels us, having concluded this: that if One died for all, then all died; ¹⁵ and He died for all, so that they who live should live no longer for themselves, but for the One who died for them and rose again.

¹⁷ Therefore "Come out from the midst of them and be separated," says the Lord. "Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."

⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet on account of you He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

²⁰ But you did not thus learn Christ, ²¹ if indeed you have heard Him and were instructed by Him, just as the truth is in Jesus: ²² that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to the deceitful lusts, ²³ and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness. ²⁵ Therefore, having put off falsehood, "Let each one speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.

³² And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ forgave us.

¹² Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience; ¹³ forbearing one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone should have a complaint against any; just as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

¹⁰ You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we were to you that believe;

⁸ I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people as His own possession, zealous for good works.

⁵ not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

¹² saying: "I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to You."

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, ²¹ and having a High Priest over the house of God, ²² let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies having been washed with clean water. ²³ Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

⁵ who by the power of God are being guarded through faith for the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁸ knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your futile way of life handed down from your forefathers, ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb blameless and spotless,

¹⁰ Therefore, brothers, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for by doing these things you shall by no means stumble at any time.

⁷ But if we are walking in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; and everyone that loves has been born of God and knows God. ⁸ He that does not love does not know God, because God is love. ⁹ By this the love of God is manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if in this way God loved us, indeed we ought to love one another. ¹² No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

¹⁹ We love Him because He first loved us. ²⁰ If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible for him to love God whom he has not seen? ²¹ And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God should love his brother also.

⁴ I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, just as we received commandment from the Father.

³ For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and witnessed to the truth which is in you, just as you walk in truth. ⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I hear that my children are walking in truth.

¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate the evil, but the good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen God.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do His commandments, so that their right shall be to the tree of life, and they may enter by the gates into the city. ¹⁵ But outside are dogs and drug users and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices a lie.
