¹ And I saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven, having been clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow on his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire, ² and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left one on the land, ³ and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices. ⁴ Now when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and after these things you shall write." ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven ⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there should be no more delay; ⁷ but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. ⁸ Then the voice which I heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the little scroll which was open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land." ⁹ And I went to the angel, saying to him to give to me the little scroll. And he said to me, "Take it and eat it up; and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be as sweet as honey in your mouth." ¹⁰ Then I took the scroll out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. And when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter. ¹¹ And they said to me, "You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."

¹¹ And I will establish My covenant with you: never again shall all flesh die by the water of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood of water to destroy all the earth. ¹² And the Lord God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I set between Me and you, and between every living creature which is with you for perpetual generations. ¹³ I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of covenant between Me and the earth. ¹⁴ And it shall be when I gather clouds upon the earth, that My rainbow shall be seen in the cloud. ¹⁵ And I shall remember My covenant, which is between Me and you, and between every living soul in all flesh, and there shall no longer be water for a deluge, so as to blot out all flesh. ¹⁶ And My rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look to remember the everlasting covenant between Me and the earth, and between every living soul in all flesh, which is upon the earth. ¹⁷ And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant, which I have made between Me and all flesh, which is upon the earth.

¹⁰ And when Aaron spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they turned toward the wilderness, then the glory of the Lord appeared in a cloud.

² And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, and let him not come in at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark of the testimony, and he shall not die; for I will appear in a cloud on the mercy seat.

² Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and judgment are the establishment of His throne.

³ Who covers His chambers with waters; who makes the clouds His chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.

¹⁵ His legs are marble pillars set on golden sockets: his form is as Lebanon, choice as the cedars.

¹ The vision of Egypt. Behold, the Lord sits on a swift cloud, and shall come to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and their hearts shall faint within them.

⁹ From the time of the water of Noah this is My purpose; as I swore to him at that time, saying of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,

⁴⁴ You have veiled Yourself with a cloud because of prayer, that I might be blind, and be cast off.

²⁸ As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in the cloud in days of rain, so was the form of brightness round about.

¹³ I beheld in the night vision, and behold, One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him.

⁶ And his body was like beryl, and his face was as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his legs as the appearance of shining brass, and the voice of his words as the voice of a multitude.

² and He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

²⁷ Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

¹³ at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those traveling with me.

⁷ Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will wail because of Him. Even so, Amen!.

¹⁵ And His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; ¹⁶ He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was as the sun shining in its strength.

³ similar in appearance to a jasper and sardius stone, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

² Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?"

¹ And after this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that a wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. ² Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been granted to harm the earth and the sea,

² And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. ³ Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And much incense was given to him, so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God. ⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

¹³ And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe for those who dwell on the earth, from the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are to sound their trumpets!"

¹³ Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, ¹⁴ saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels having been bound at the great river Euphrates."

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven ⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there should be no more delay;

¹⁴ And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, because the time has come to reap, because the harvest of the earth has withered."

⁸ Ask of Me, and I shall give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.

⁵ You are wonderful in righteousness. Hearken to us, O God our Savior; the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are on the sea afar off;

¹⁵ By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. ¹⁶ By me nobles become great, and monarchs by me rule over the earth.

¹⁹ So shall they of the west fear the name of the Lord, and they that come from the rising of the sun shall fear His glorious name; for the wrath of the Lord shall come as a mighty river, it shall come with fury.

⁹ And I looked, and behold, a hand stretched out to me, and in it was a volume of a book. ¹⁰ And He unrolled it before me. And in it the front and the back were written upon. And there was written in it lamentations, and mournful songs, and woe.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

²⁰ which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, ²¹ above every ruler and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the coming age. ²² And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹ And I saw in the right hand of He that sat on the throne a scroll, having been written inside and outside, and having been sealed with seven seals. ² Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?" ³ And no one in heaven above or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, nor to look at it. ⁴ And I began to weep much, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll, nor to look at it. ⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, to open the scroll and its seven seals."

¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living beings saying, like a voice of thunder, "Come."

³ And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living being saying, "Come!"

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

⁸ Then the voice which I heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the little scroll which was open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land." ⁹ And I went to the angel, saying to him to give to me the little scroll. And he said to me, "Take it and eat it up; and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be as sweet as honey in your mouth." ¹⁰ Then I took the scroll out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. ¹² The threatening of a king is like the roaring of a lion, but as dew on the grass, so is his favor.

²⁹ They rage as lions, and draw near as a lion's whelps; and he shall seize, and roar as a wild beast, and he shall cast them forth, and there shall be none to deliver them.

⁴ For thus said the Lord unto me, As a lion would roar, or a lion's whelp over prey which he has taken, and cry over it, until the mountains are filled with his voice, and the animals are awe-struck and tremble at the fierceness of his wrath; so the Lord of hosts shall descend to fight upon Mount Zion, even upon her mountains.

¹³ The Lord God of hosts shall go forth, and crush the war; He shall stir up jealousy, and shall shout mightily against His enemies.

³⁰ And you shall prophesy against them these words, and shall say: The Lord shall speak from on high, from His sanctuary He will utter His voice. He will pronounce a declaration on His place; and these shall answer like men gathering grapes. And destruction is coming on them that dwell on the earth,

¹⁶ And the Lord shall cry out of Zion, and shall utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heaven and the earth shall be shaken, but the Lord shall spare His people, and shall strengthen the children of Israel.

² And he said, The Lord has spoken out of Zion, and has uttered His voice out of Jerusalem, and the pastures of the shepherds have mourned, and the top of Carmel is dried up.

⁸ A lion shall roar, and who will not be alarmed? The Lord God has spoken, and who will not prophesy?

⁵ And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven torches of fire were burning before His throne, which are seven spirits of God;

⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

² And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And the voice which I heard was as of harpists playing on their harps.

¹ Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, because in them the wrath of God has been completed.

⁷ Then one of the four living beings gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.

²⁹ The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, to do all the words of this law.

¹ And the Lord said to me, Take to yourself a volume of a great new book, and write in it with a man's pen concerning the making a rapid plunder of spoils; for it is close at hand.

¹⁶ Then those who seal themselves, that they may not learn the law, shall be made manifest.

¹¹ And all these things shall be to you as the words of this sealed book, which if they shall give to a learned man, saying, Read this, he shall then say, I cannot read it, for it is sealed.

²⁶ And the vision of the evening and morning that was mentioned is true: seal up the vision; for it is for many days.

⁴ And you, Daniel, close the words, and seal the book to the time of the end; until many are taught, and knowledge is increased.

⁹ And he said, Go, Daniel; for the words are closed and sealed up to the time of the end.

² And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision, and that plainly on a tablet, that he that reads it may run. ³ For the vision is yet for a time, and it shall shoot forth at the end, and not in vain: though he should tarry, wait for him; for he will surely come, and will not tarry.

¹¹ saying, "That which you see, write in a book and send to the seven churches: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

¹ "To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: ² "I know your works, and your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you tested those who say that they are apostles and they are not, and you found them to be liars; ³ and you have endurance and you have born patiently on account of My name, and you did not become weary.

¹⁰ And he said to me, "Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

¹ In the beginning God made the heaven and the earth. ² But the earth was unsightly and unfurnished, and darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God moved over the water.

²² And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I will stretch out my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, who made the heaven and the earth,

¹⁵ Then the Angel of the Lord called Abraham the second time out of heaven, saying, ¹⁶ I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and on My account have not spared your beloved son,

⁸ And I will bring you into the land concerning which I stretched out My hand to give it to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and I will give it you for an inheritance: I am the Lord.

¹¹ For in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and the sea and all things in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.

⁴⁰ For I will lift up My hand to heaven, and swear by My right hand, and I will say, I live forever.

⁶ And Ezra said, You are the only true Lord; You have made the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and everything in it, the seas, and everything in them; and You give life to all things, and the hosts of heaven worship You.

³ For the Lord is a great God, and a great King over all gods; for the Lord will not cast off His people. ⁴ For the ends of the earth are in His hands; and the heights of the mountains are His. ⁵ For the sea is His, and He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. ⁶ Come, let us worship and fall down before Him, and weep before the Lord that made us.

⁵ Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

¹ Alleluia, A Psalm of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the highest. ² Praise Him, all His angels: praise Him, all His hosts. ³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars and light. ⁴ Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and the water that is above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of the Lord; for He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He has established them forever, even forever and ever; He has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away. ⁷ Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all the depths.

¹⁰ They must certainly be borne, for they cannot ride of themselves. Fear them not, for they cannot do any evil, and there is no good in them. ¹¹ Thus shall you say to them: Let the gods which have not made heaven and earth perish from off the earth, and from under this sky. ¹² It is the Lord that made the earth by His strength, who set up the world by His wisdom, and by His understanding stretched out the sky, ¹³ and set abundance of waters in the sky, and brought up clouds from the ends of the earth. He made lightnings for the rain, and brought forth light out of His treasures.

⁵ and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: From the day that I chose the house of Israel, and became known to the seed of the house of Jacob, and was known to them in the land of Egypt, and helped them with My hand, saying, I am the Lord your God;

¹⁵ But I lifted up My hand against them in the wilderness once for all, that I would not bring them into the land which I gave them, a land flowing with milk and honey, it is sweeter than all lands;

²³ I lifted up My hand against them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles, and disperse them in the countries;

²⁸ Whereas I brought them into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to them; and they looked upon every high hill, and every shady tree, and they sacrificed there to their gods, and offered there sweet-smelling savors, and there they poured out their drink offerings.

⁴² And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to your fathers.

⁷ therefore I will lift up My hand against the nations that are round about you; they shall bear their reproach.

¹⁴ And you shall inherit it, each according to his brother's portion, even the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to your fathers; and this land shall fall to you by lot.

⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever, that it should be for a time, times and half a time. When the dispersion is ended, they shall know all these things.

¹⁵ and saying, "Men! Why are you doing these things? We men are of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, that you must turn from these useless things to turn to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them,

²³ for as I passed by and considered the objects of your worship, I found also an altar on which it had been inscribed: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, Him whom being ignorant of you worship, this One I announce to you:

²⁰ For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Divinity, so that they are without excuse.

¹³ For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,

¹⁸ I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

⁹ Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him that sits on the throne, to Him that lives forever and ever,

¹¹ "You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."

² and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left one on the land,

⁷ saying with a loud voice, "Fear the Lord and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and you shall worship Him who made heaven and earth, and the sea and fountains of waters."

¹⁷ Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It has been done!"

⁷ For the Lord God will do nothing without revealing instruction to His servants the prophets.

⁴⁴ Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me." ⁴⁵ And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. ⁴⁶ Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

²¹ whom it is necessary for heaven to receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

²⁵ For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

^{25 (14:24)} Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began,

³ how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery, just as I wrote before briefly, ⁴ with reference to which, when you read, you can understand my insight in the mystery of Christ, ⁵ which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: ⁶ that the Gentiles should be joint-heirs, and of the same body, and joint-partakers in His promise in Christ by the gospel, ⁷ of which I became a minister according to the free gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power. ⁸ To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, ⁹ and to enlighten all as to what is the administration of the mystery, which had been hidden from the ages in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ;

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, those before the throne of God who sit on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshipped God, ¹⁷ saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. ¹⁸ The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and to those that fear Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

²¹ and your ears shall hear the words of them that went after you to lead you astray, who say, This is the way, let us walk in it, whether to the right or to the left.

⁴ Now when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and after these things you shall write." ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

¹² neither shall I transgress; but I have hid His words in my bosom.

¹⁶ Consume them, and Your word shall be to me for the joy and gladness of my heart. For Your name has been called upon me, O Lord Almighty.

⁸ And you, son of man, hear Him that speaks to you; be not provoking, as the provoking house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you.

¹ And He said to me, Son of Man, eat this volume, and go and speak to the children of Israel. ² So He opened my mouth, and caused me to eat the volume. And He said to me, Son of man, ³ your mouth shall eat, and your belly shall be filled with this volume that is given to you. So I ate it; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

¹⁴ And the Spirit lifted me, and took me up, and I went in the impulse of my spirit; and the hand of the Lord was mighty upon me.

⁶ Because of which things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience,

¹⁰ To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

³⁴ Let my meditation be sweet to Him, and I will rejoice in the Lord.

¹⁰³ How sweet are Your oracles to my taste! More so than honey to my mouth!

²⁴ Good words are like honeycombs, and the sweetness thereof is a healing of the soul.

¹⁰ And He unrolled it before me. And in it the front and the back were written upon. And there was written in it lamentations, and mournful songs, and woe.

³ your mouth shall eat, and your belly shall be filled with this volume that is given to you. So I ate it; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

⁹ And the Lord stretched forth His hand to me, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put My words into your mouth. ¹⁰ Behold, I have appointed you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to rebuild, and to plant.

¹⁵ Thus said the Lord God of Israel: Take the cup of this unmixed wine from My hand, and you shall cause all the nations to drink, to whom I send you. ¹⁶ And they shall drink, and vomit, and be mad, because of the sword which I send among them. ¹⁷ So I took the cup out of the Lord's hand, and caused the nations to whom the Lord sent me to drink: ¹⁸ Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings of Judah, and his princes, to make them a desert place, a desolation, and a hissing. ¹⁹ And Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his nobles, and all his people; ²⁰ and all the mixed multitude, and all the kings of the Philistines, namely Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Azotus, ²¹ and Edom, and the land of Moab, and the children of Ammon, ²² and the kings of Tyre, and the kings of Sidon, and the kings in the country beyond the sea, ²³ and Dedan, Tema, Buz, and everyone that is shaved round about the face, ²⁴ and all the mixed multitude dwelling in the wilderness, ²⁵ and all the kings of Aelam, and all the kings of the Persians, ²⁶ and all the kings from the north, the far and the near, each one with his brother, and all the kingdoms which are on the face of the earth. ²⁷ And you shall say to them, Thus said the Lord Almighty: Drink, and be drunk; and you shall vomit and fall, and shall by no means rise, because of the sword which I send among you. ²⁸ And it shall come to pass, when they refuse to take the cup out of your hand, to drink it, that you shall say, Thus said the Lord; You shall surely drink. ²⁹ For I am beginning to afflict the city which is called by My name, and you shall by no means be held guiltless: for I am calling a sword upon all that dwell upon the earth. ³⁰ And you shall prophesy against them these words, and shall say: The Lord shall speak from on high, from His sanctuary He will utter His voice. He will pronounce a declaration on His place; and these shall answer like men gathering grapes. And destruction is coming on them that dwell on the earth,

⁴ And He said to me, Prophesy upon these bones, and you shall say to them, You dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

⁹ And He said to me, Prophesy to the wind; prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus says the Lord: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these dead, that they may live.

⁹ Then some of the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations saw their corpse three-and-a-half days, and they will not allow their corpses to be put into a tomb.
