¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living beings saying, like a voice of thunder, "Come." ² And behold, a white horse. And he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering, and to conquer. ³ And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living being saying, "Come!" ⁴ Another horse went out, fiery red, and it was granted to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, so that they might kill each other; and there was given to him a great sword. ⁵ And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living being say, "Come." And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. ⁶ And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living beings, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm the oil and the wine." ⁷ And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living being saying, "Come." ⁸ And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it was named Death, and Hades was following him. And authority was given to him over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth. ⁹ And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" ¹¹ Then a long white robe was given to them, and it was said to them that they should rest yet a while, until also their fellow servants and their brothers, who were about to be killed as also they were, should complete their course. ¹² And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, that there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood. ¹³ And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree casting its untimely figs, being shaken by a mighty wind. ¹⁴ Then the sky was split like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed out of their places. ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the magnates and the high-ranking military men, and the rich and the mighty, and every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the crags of the mountains. ¹⁶ And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb! ¹⁷ For the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"

²⁰ For we can do none other but to speak the things which we saw and heard.

⁵ And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven torches of fire were burning before His throne, which are seven spirits of God; ⁶ and before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living beings full of eyes in front and in back. ⁷ The first living being was like a lion, the second living being was like a calf, the third living being had a face of a man, and the fourth living being was like a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw in the right hand of He that sat on the throne a scroll, having been written inside and outside, and having been sealed with seven seals.

⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, to open the scroll and its seven seals." ⁶ And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living beings, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ Then He came and took out of the right hand of Him that sat on the throne.

³ And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living being saying, "Come!"

⁵ And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living being say, "Come." And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

⁷ And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living being saying, "Come."

³ and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices. ⁴ Now when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and after these things you shall write."

¹⁹ Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord appeared in His temple. And there were lightnings and voices and thunders, and great hail.

² And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And the voice which I heard was as of harpists playing on their harps.

⁶ And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has begun to reign!

³ Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, in Your comeliness, and in Your beauty; ⁴ and bend Your bow, and prosper, and reign, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and Your right hand shall guide You wonderfully. ⁵ Your weapons are sharpened, O Mighty One, (the nations shall fall under You) they are in the heart of the king's enemies.

⁷ For You are to be feared; and who shall withstand You, because of Your anger?

¹ A Psalm of David. Sing to the Lord a new song; for the Lord has wrought wonderful works, His right hand, and His holy arm, have wrought salvation for Him.

² The Lord shall send out the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies!

⁸ Death has prevailed and swallowed men up; but again the Lord God has taken away every tear from every face. He has taken away the reproach of His people from all the earth; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

⁸ I saw by night, and behold, a man mounted on a red horse, and he stood between the shady mountains; and behind him were red horses, and gray, and piebald, and white.

³ and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot piebald and ash-colored horses. ⁴ And I answered and said to the angel that talked with me, What are these, my Lord? ⁵ And the angel that talked with me answered and said, These are the four winds of heaven, and they are going forth to stand before the Lord of all the earth. ⁶ As for the chariot in which were the black horses, they went out to the land of the north; and the white went out after them; and the piebald went out to the land of the south. ⁷ And the ash-colored went out, and looked to go and compass the earth: and he said, Go, and compass the earth. And they compassed the earth. ⁸ And He cried out and spoke to me, saying, Behold, these go out to the land of the north, and they have quieted My anger in the land of the north.

¹¹ And you shall take silver and gold, and make crowns, and you shall put them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak the high priest; ¹² and you shall say to him, Thus says the Lord Almighty; Behold the man whose name is the Branch; and He shall spring up from His stem, and build the house of the Lord. ¹³ And He shall receive power, and shall sit and rule upon His throne; and there shall be a priest on His right hand, and a peaceable counsel shall be between them both.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out through me, in word and deed, for the obedience of the Gentiles-- ¹⁹ in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

²⁵ For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet.

⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" ⁵⁶ Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty by God to the pulling down of strongholds, ⁵ casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,

²¹ He that overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

¹⁸ The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and to those that fear Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

¹⁴ And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

² And I saw something like a glassy sea having been mixed with fire, and those who prevailed over the Beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing on the glassy sea, having the harps of God.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, and elect, and faithful."

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having names written, and a name written that no one knows except Himself.

¹⁴ And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses, having been dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

⁷ The first living being was like a lion, the second living being was like a calf, the third living being had a face of a man, and the fourth living being was like a flying eagle.

¹ And I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living beings saying, like a voice of thunder, "Come."

¹⁶ And for this purpose have you been preserved, that I might display My strength in you, and that My name might be published in all the earth. ¹⁷ Do you then yet exert yourself to hinder My people, so as not to let them go?

¹³ Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down; deliver my soul from the ungodly; draw Your sword,

⁵ Woe to the Assyrians; the rod of My wrath and anger are in their hands. ⁶ I will send My wrath against a sinful nation, and I will command My people to take plunder and spoil, and to trample the cities, and to make dust out of them.

²⁶ Have you not heard of these things which I did of old? I appointed them from ancient times; but now have I manifested My purpose of desolating nations in their strongholds, and them that dwell in strong cities. ²⁷ I weakened their hands, and they withered; and they became as dry grass on the housetops, and as grass.

¹⁸ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre; every head was bald, and every shoulder peeled; yet there was no reward to him or to his army serving against Tyre, nor for the service which they served against it. ¹⁹ Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will give to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, and he shall take the plunder thereof, and seize the spoils thereof; and it shall be a reward for his army. ²⁰ In return for his service in which he served against Tyre, I have given him the land of Egypt; thus says the Lord God:

²⁴ And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put My sword into his hand, and he shall bring it upon Egypt, and shall take her plunder and seize her spoils. ²⁵ Yea, I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fail; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have put My sword into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out over the land of Egypt.

³⁷ You, O king, are a king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given a powerful and strong and honorable kingdom, ³⁸ in every place where the children of men dwell: and He has given into your hand the wild beasts of the field, and the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea, and He has made you ruler over them all.

¹⁹ And by reason of the majesty which He gave to him, all nations, tribes, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whomever he wished, he executed; whomever he wished, he exalted; and whomever he wished, he abased.

² In the first chariot were red horses, and in the second chariot black horses;

³⁴ "Do not suppose that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

¹¹ Jesus answered, "You would have no authority at all against Me unless it had been given to you from above. Therefore the one who betrayed Me to you has a greater sin."

³ And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great, fiery dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads.

¹⁰ If anyone has captivity, he goes away; if anyone is with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

³ And he led me away in the Spirit, into a deserted place. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast being filled with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

⁶ I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

²⁶ When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.

¹⁰ Our skin is blackened like an oven; they are convulsed, because of the storms of famine.

¹⁰ And you shall eat your food by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat them.

¹⁶ And He said to me, Son of man, behold, I break the support of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight and in poverty, and shall drink water by measure, and in a state of ruin;

⁶ As for the chariot in which were the black horses, they went out to the land of the north; and the white went out after them; and the piebald went out to the land of the south.

⁵ But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, to open the scroll and its seven seals."

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; because You were slain, and You redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and language and people and nation;

¹⁰ For the inward thought of man shall give thanks to You, and the memorial of his inward thought shall keep a feast to You.

⁶ and before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living beings full of eyes in front and in back.

³ saying, "Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall seal the servants of our God on their foreheads."

⁴ They were told not to harm the grass of the earth, nor any plant, nor any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

²² And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle; and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate. ²³ And if hereupon you are not corrected, but walk perversely towards Me, ²⁴ I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins. ²⁵ And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of My covenant, and you shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and you shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies. ²⁶ When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and you shall eat, and not be satisfied. ²⁷ And if hereupon you will not obey Me, but walk perversely towards Me, ²⁸ then will I walk contrary to you in fury, and I will chasten you seven-fold according to your sins. ²⁹ And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat. ³⁰ And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden images made with hands; and I will lay your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols, and My soul shall loathe you. ³¹ And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savor of your sacrifices. ³² And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it. ³³ And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.

⁵ For the feet of folly lead those who deal with her down to the grave with death, and her steps are not established.

² And it shall be, if they say to you, Where shall we go forth? Then you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord: As many as are for death, to death; and as many as are for famine, to famine; and as many as are for the sword, to the sword; and as many as are for captivity, to captivity. ³ And I will punish them with four kinds of death, says the Lord, the sword to slay, the dogs to tear, the wild beasts of the earth, and the birds of the sky to devour and destroy.

⁴ They shall die a grievous death. They shall not be lamented over, nor buried; they shall be for an example on the face of the earth; and they shall be for the wild beasts of the land, and for the birds of the sky. They shall fall by the sword, and shall be consumed with famine.

¹⁶ Behold, I will send many fishermen, says the Lord, and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send many hunters, and they shall hunt them upon every mountain, and upon every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

¹¹ And he shall enter in, and strike the land of Egypt, and deliver to death those appointed for death; and to captivity those appointed for captivity; and to the sword those appointed for the sword.

¹² A fourth part of you shall be cut off by pestilence, and a fourth part of you shall be consumed in the midst of you with famine; and as for another fourth part of you, I will scatter them to all the winds; and a fourth part of you shall fall by the sword round about you, and I will draw out a sword after them.

¹⁵ And you shall be mourned over and miserable among the nations round about you, when I have executed judgments in you in the vengeance of My wrath. I, the Lord, have spoken. ¹⁶ And when I have sent against them shafts of famine, then they shall be consumed, and I will break the strength of your bread. ¹⁷ So I will send forth against you famine and evil beasts, and I will take vengeance upon you; and pestilence and blood shall pass through upon you; and I will bring a sword upon you round about. I, the Lord, have spoken.

¹³ Son of man, if a land shall sin against Me by committing a trespass, then will I stretch out My hand upon it, and will break its staff of bread, and will send forth famine upon it, and cut off man and beast from it. ¹⁴ And though these three men should be in the midst of it, Noah, Daniel, and Job, they alone would be delivered by their righteousness, says the Lord. ¹⁵ If again I bring evil beasts upon the land, and take vengeance upon it, and it is ruined, and there be no one to pass through for fear of the wild beasts; ¹⁶ and if these three men should be in the midst of it, as I live, says the Lord, neither sons nor daughters shall be saved, but these only shall be saved, and the land shall be destroyed. ¹⁷ Or again if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Let the sword go through the land; and I cut off from them man and beast; ¹⁸ though these three men were in the midst of it, as I live, says the Lord, they shall not deliver sons or daughters, but they only shall be saved themselves. ¹⁹ Or if again I send pestilence upon that land, and pour out My wrath upon it in blood, to destroy from off it man and beast; ²⁰ and should Noah, Daniel, and Job be in the midst of it, as I live, says the Lord, there shall be left them neither sons nor daughters; only they by their righteousness shall deliver their souls. ²¹ Thus says the Lord: And if I even send upon Jerusalem My four severe judgments — the sword, famine, evil beasts, and pestilence, to destroy from out of it both man and beast;

¹⁴ I will deliver them out of the power of Hades, and will redeem them from death. O death, where is your punishment? O Hades, where is your sting? Comfort is hidden from My eyes.

⁵ But the arrogant man and the scorner, the boastful man, shall not finish anything; who has enlarged his desire as the grave, and like death he is never satisfied, and he will gather to himself all the nations, and will receive to himself all the peoples.

³ and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot piebald and ash-colored horses.

²³ And you, Capernaum, the one having been exalted to heaven, you will be brought down to Hades; because if the miracles which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.

⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"

¹⁸ I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

⁷ And the first one sounded his trumpet, and there was hail and fire, having been mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up. ⁸ Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great burning mountain was cast into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. ⁹ And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water. ¹¹ And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third of the waters turned into wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. ¹² Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

¹⁵ So the four angels were released, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill a third of mankind.

¹⁸ By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed--from the fire and the smoke and the brimstone proceeding out of their mouths.

⁴ And his tail dragged a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that whenever she might give birth, he might devour her Child.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works. ¹⁴ Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death, the Lake of Fire.

⁷ And the priest shall put of the blood of the calf on the horns of the altar of the compound incense which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of witness; and all the blood of the calf shall he pour out by the foot of the altar of whole burnt offerings, which is by the doors of the tabernacle of witness.

² They will excommunicate you; but a time is coming when everyone who kills you will think that he is offering God a service.

⁸ but we are confident and prefer rather to be away from home from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

²³ For I am hard pressed by the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.

¹⁷ But even if I am being poured upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice; yea, and I rejoice with you all.

⁸ Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but endure hardship with the gospel according to the power of God,

⁶ For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has arrived.

² who testified to the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, as many things as He saw, both the things that are and those that must happen after these.

⁹ I, John, your brother and partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Christ Jesus, came to be on the island that is called Patmos on account of the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

¹³ "I know your works, and where you live, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan is dwelling.

³ Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And much incense was given to him, so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne.

¹³ Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

³ And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, having been clothed in sackcloth." ⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which are standing before the Lord of the earth. ⁵ And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. ⁶ These men have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls during the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they wish. ⁷ And when they finish their testimony, the Beast who ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war with them, and will overcome them, and will kill them.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and to the sea! Because the devil was thrown down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time." ¹³ Now when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. ¹⁴ And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly into the desert to her place, so that she might be nourished there for a time and times and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a river after the woman, so that he might cause her to be carried off by the river. ¹⁶ But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had cast out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a loud cry to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the grape clusters of the vine of the earth, because the grapes are ripe."

⁷ And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

¹⁰ And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God, and those who had not worshipped the Beast or his image, and they did not receive the mark on their forehead or on their hand. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for the thousand years.

¹⁰ And the Lord said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground.

³⁶ For the Lord shall judge His people, and shall be comforted over His servants; for He saw that they were utterly weakened, and failed in the hostile invasion, and have become feeble. ³⁷ And the Lord said, Where are their gods on whom they trusted? ³⁸ The fat of whose sacrifices you ate, and you drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them arise and help you, and be your protectors. ³⁹ Behold I, even I, am He, and there is no God beside Me: I kill, and I will make to live: I will smite, and I will heal; and there is none who shall deliver out of My hands. ⁴⁰ For I will lift up My hand to heaven, and swear by My right hand, and I will say, I live forever. ⁴¹ For I will sharpen My sword like lightning, and My hand shall take hold of judgment; and I will render judgment to My enemies, and will recompense them that hate Me. ⁴² I will make My weapons drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, it shall gorge itself with the blood of the wounded, and from the captivity of the heads of their enemies that rule over them. ⁴³ Rejoice, you heavens, with Him, and let all the angels of God worship Him; rejoice you Gentiles, with His people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in Him; for He shall avenge the blood of His sons, and He shall render vengeance, and recompense justice to His enemies, and will reward them that hate Him; and the Lord shall purge the land of His people.

²⁸ And Sampson wept before the Lord, and said, O Lord, my Lord, remember me, I pray, and strengthen me, O God, just this once, and I will be avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

^{12 (24:13)} The Lord judge between me and you, and the Lord vindicate you on yourself. But my hand shall not be upon you.

¹² For He remembered them, in making inquisition for blood; He has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.

¹ For the end, A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord, will You forget me? Forever? How long will You turn away Your face from me?

¹⁷ O Lord, when will You look upon me? Deliver my soul from their mischief, my only begotten one from the lions.

¹⁰ The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance of the ungodly; he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner. ¹¹ And a man shall say, Verily then there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judges them in the earth.

⁹ We have not seen our signs; there is no longer a prophet; and God will not know us anymore. ¹⁰ How long, O God, shall the enemy reproach? Shall the enemy provoke Your name forever?

¹⁰ Why should the heathen say, Where is their God? And let the avenging of Your servant's blood that has been shed be known among the heathen before our eyes.

³ How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast? ⁴ They will utter and speak unrighteousness; all the workers of iniquity shall speak so.

² to declare the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of recompense; to comfort all that mourn;

¹ Who is this that has come from Edom, with red garments from Bosor? Thus fair in his apparel, with mighty strength? I speak of righteousness and saving judgment. ² Why are your garments red, and your clothing as if fresh from a trodden winepress? ³ I am full of trodden grapes, and of the nations there is not a man with Me; and I trampled them in My fury, and dashed them to pieces as earth, and brought down their blood to the earth. ⁴ For the day of recompense has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand. ⁵ And I looked, and there was no helper; and I observed, and none upheld; therefore My arm delivered them, and My anger drew near. ⁶ And I trampled them in My anger, and brought down their blood to the earth.

¹³ And I heard one saint speaking, and a saint said to a certain one speaking, How long shall the vision continue, even the removal of the sacrifice, and the bringing in of the sin of desolation; and how long shall the sanctuary and host be trampled?

⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was over the water of the river, When will be the end of the wonders which you have mentioned?

¹² Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, O Lord Almighty, how long will You have no mercy on Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, which You has disregarded these seventy years?

⁷ And God, shall He not execute justice for His own elect, who cry out day and night to Him, and yet He is patient with them? ⁸ I tell you that He will execute justice for them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

²² For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that has been written.

¹⁹ Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.

⁶ since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, ⁷ and to give you who are being afflicted rest along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴ and to Jesus, the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which speaks better things than the blood of Abel.

⁷ "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says the Holy One, the True One, " He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, except He that opens, and no man shall open."

¹⁰ Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of testing which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those that dwell upon the earth.

³ And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations! ⁴ Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, because Your righteous judgments have been manifested."

⁵ And I heard the angel of the waters saying: "You are righteous, the One who is, and who was, holy, because You have judged these things. ⁶ Because they shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You gave them blood to drink. They deserve it." ⁷ And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

²⁰ "Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her!"

²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all those who had been slain on the earth."

² For true and righteous are His judgments, for He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged the blood of His servants shed by her hand."

²⁰ Go, my people, enter into your closets, shut your door, hide yourself for a little season, until the anger of the Lord has passed away. ²¹ For behold, the Lord is bringing wrath from His holy place on those that dwell upon the earth; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall not cover her slain.

¹³ But you, go your way, and rest; for there are yet days and seasons to the fulfillment of the end; and you shall stand in your inheritance at the end of the days.

²¹ Now brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents, and put them to death.

³⁴ Therefore, behold, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and you will crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and you will persecute from city to city, ³⁵ so that on you may come all the righteous blood being shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

⁴⁰ God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

⁴ You have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. ⁵ He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and by no means shall I erase his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, out of every nation, and from tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed in long white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

¹⁴ And I said to him, "My lord, you know." So he said to me, "These are those who come out of the Great Tribulation, and have washed their robes and they made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ And it was granted to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of heaven saying, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on,' "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them."

¹¹ And He said, You shall go forth tomorrow, and shall stand before the Lord in the mount; behold, the Lord will pass by. And behold, a great and strong wind tore into the mountains, and crushed the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind there was an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake. ¹² And after the earthquake there was a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the voice of a gentle breeze. ¹³ And it came to pass when Elijah heard, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went forth and stood in the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

⁹ For behold, the day of the Lord is coming which cannot be escaped, a day of wrath and anger, to make the world desolate, and to destroy sinners out of it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven, and Orion, and all the host of heaven, shall not give their light; and it shall be dark at sunrise, and the moon shall not give her light.

²³ And the brick shall decay, and the wall shall fall; for the Lord shall reign from out of Zion, and out of Jerusalem, and shall be glorified before His elders.

⁶ from the Lord of Hosts; for there shall be a visitation with thunder, and earthquake, and a loud noise, a rushing tempest, and a devouring flame of fire.

³ I will clothe the sky with darkness, and will make its covering as sackcloth.

¹⁹ And you shall no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten your night; but the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and God your glory. ²⁰ For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be completed.

⁷ And I will veil the heavens when you are extinguished, and will darken the stars thereof; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. ⁸ All the bodies that give light in the sky shall be darkened over you, and I will bring darkness upon the earth, says the Lord God.

¹⁰ Before them the earth shall be confounded, and the sky shall be shaken: the sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their light.

³⁰ And I will show wonders in heaven, and upon the earth, blood, and fire, and vapors of smoke. ³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

^{21 (2:22)} Speak to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, of the tribe of Judah, saying, I shake the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; ^{22 (2:23)} and I will overthrow the thrones of kings, and I will destroy the power of the kings of the nations; and I will overthrow chariots and riders; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword striving against his brother.

⁵ And the valley of My mountains shall be closed up, and the valley of the mountains shall be joined on to Jasod, and shall be blocked up as it was blocked up in the days of the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with Him.

⁷ For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

²⁹ "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, darkness came upon all the land.

⁵⁴ So when the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were greatly afraid, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"

² And behold, a great earthquake occurred; for an angel of the Lord, having come down out of heaven, came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.

²⁴ "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its radiance; ²⁵ and the stars of heaven shall be falling out, and the powers in the heavens shall be shaken.

³³ Now when the sixth hour had come, darkness came upon the whole land until the ninth hour.

¹⁹ And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. ²⁰ The sun shall be changed into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the Lord.

⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

⁴ And all the powers of the heavens shall melt, and the sky shall be rolled up like a scroll; and all the stars shall fall like leaves from a vine, and as leaves fall from a fig tree.

⁷ And I will veil the heavens when you are extinguished, and will darken the stars thereof; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

¹⁴ Cut down the tree, and pluck off its branches, and shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit — let the wild beasts be removed from under it, and the birds from its branches.

¹⁰ And it magnified itself to the host of heaven; and there fell to the earth some of the host of heaven and of the stars, and they trampled on them.

¹² All your strongholds are as fig trees having watchers: if they be shaken, they shall fall into the mouth of the eater.

¹⁰ shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed; so neither shall My mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed; for the Lord who is gracious to you has spoken it.

²³ Truly the hills and the strength of the mountains were a lying refuge; but by the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.

²³ I looked upon the earth, and behold, it was not; and to the sky, and there was no light in it. ²⁴ I beheld the mountains, and they trembled, and I saw all the hills in commotion. ²⁵ I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the sky were scared. ²⁶ I saw, and behold, Carmel was desert, and all the cities were burnt with fire at the presence of the Lord, and at the presence of His fierce anger they were utterly destroyed.

²⁵ Behold, I am against you, the ruined mountain, that destroys the whole earth; and I will stretch out My hand upon you, and will roll you down upon the rocks, and will make you as a burnt mountain.

²⁰ and the fish of the sea shall quake at the presence of the Lord, and the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the field, and all the reptiles that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are on the face of the earth; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the valleys shall fall, and every wall on the land shall fall.

⁵ The mountains quake at Him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at His presence, even the world, and all that dwell in it.

⁶ the earth stood at His feet and trembled: He beheld, and the nations melted away: the mountains were violently burst through, the everlasting hills melted at His everlasting going forth.

¹⁰ The nations shall see You and be in pain, as You divided the moving waters: the deep uttered her voice, and raised her form on high.

¹¹ They shall perish, but You continue; and they all shall grow old like a garment; ¹² and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail." ¹³ But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet"?

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

²⁰ Then every island fled, and the mountains were not found.

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea.

¹⁶ And these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave that is in Makkedah. ¹⁷ And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings have been found hid in the cave that is in Makkedah.

² And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. And the children of Israel made for themselves caves in the mountains, and the dens, and the holes in the rocks, because of Midian.

⁶ And the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait so that they could not draw near, and the people hid themselves in caves, sheepfolds, rocks, ditches, and pits.

¹⁹ Such a one as would not reverence the face of an honorable man, neither knows how to give honor to the great, so as that their persons should be respected. ²⁰ But it shall turn out as vanity to them, to cry and beseech a man; for they dealt unlawfully, the poor being turned aside from their right.

¹⁰ Now therefore understand, you kings: be instructed, all you that judge the earth. ¹¹ Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in Him with trembling. ¹² Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you should perish from the righteous way. Whenever His wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in Him.

¹ For the end, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. Hear these words, all you nations, give ear, all you that dwell upon the earth; ² both the sons of mean men, and sons of great men; the rich and poor man together.

¹² even to Him that is awesome, and that takes away the spirits of princes; to Him that is awesome among the kings of the earth.

⁵ The Lord at Your right hand has dashed in pieces kings in the day of His wrath. ⁶ He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill up the number of corpses, He shall crush the heads of many on the earth.

¹⁰ Now therefore enter into the rocks, and hide yourselves in the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of His might, when He shall arise to strike mightily the earth.

¹⁹ having carried them into the caves, and into the clefts of the rocks, and into the caverns of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of His might, when He shall arise to strike mightily the earth.

²¹ And God shall bring His hand upon the host of heaven, and upon the kings of the earth. ²² And they shall gather the multitude thereof into prisons, and they shall shut them into a stronghold; after many generations they shall be visited.

²² And I beheld, and the people were spoiled and plundered; for there is a snare in the secret chambers everywhere, and in the houses also, where they have hidden them; they became a spoil, and there was no one that delivered the prey, and there was none who said, Restore.

¹⁷ They shall lick the dust as serpents crawling on the earth, they shall be confounded in their holes; they shall be amazed at the Lord our God, and will be afraid of you.

³⁸ of whom the world was not worthy, wandering in deserts and mountains and caves, and the holes of the earth.

⁹ "The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her shall weep and mourn over her, when they see the smoke of her burning, ¹⁰ standing from afar on account of the fear of her torment, saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! ¹³ And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses, having been dressed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the great supper of God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who ride on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, having been gathered together to make war against Him who rode on the horse and against His army. ²⁰ Then the Beast was apprehended, and with him the False Prophet who had performed the signs before him, by which he had deceived those who received the mark of the Beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain with the sword which proceeds from the mouth of Him who rode on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

⁹ You shall rule them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.

⁵ There were they alarmed with fear, where there was no fear; for God is in the righteous generation.

⁸ Let Your hand be found by all Your enemies; let Your right hand find all that hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven at the time of Your presence; the Lord shall trouble them in His anger, and fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men. ¹¹ For they intended evil against You; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform. ¹² For You shall make them turn their back in Your latter end; You will prepare their face.

³ because they chose death rather than life, even to all the remnant that are left of that family, in every place where I shall drive them out.

⁸ And the altars of On, the sins of Israel shall be taken away. Thorns and thistles shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

¹⁴ And the angel that spoke with me said to me, Cry out and say, Thus says the Lord Almighty; I have been jealous for Jerusalem and Zion with great jealousy. ¹⁵ And I am very angry with the heathen that combine to attack her: for as I indeed was a little angry, but they combined to attack her for evil.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, "You said it. Nevertheless, I say to you, from now on, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."

³⁰ Then they will begin 'to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" '

⁷ and to give you who are being afflicted rest along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ These shall pay a penalty--eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

² Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was set in heaven (and One sitting on the throne)

⁵ And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And seven torches of fire were burning before His throne, which are seven spirits of God;

⁹ Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him that sits on the throne, to Him that lives forever and ever,

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there should be no more delay;

¹⁵ And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God.

³ If You, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? ⁴ For with You is forgiveness;

⁶ Howl, for the day of the Lord is near, and destruction from God shall arrive. ⁷ Therefore every hand shall become powerless, and every soul of man shall be dismayed. ⁸ The elders shall be troubled, and pangs shall seize them, as of a woman in labor; and they shall mourn one to another, and shall be amazed, and shall change their countenance as a flame. ⁹ For behold, the day of the Lord is coming which cannot be escaped, a day of wrath and anger, to make the world desolate, and to destroy sinners out of it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven, and Orion, and all the host of heaven, shall not give their light; and it shall be dark at sunrise, and the moon shall not give her light. ¹¹ And I will command evils for the whole world, and will visit their sins on the ungodly; and I will destroy the pride of transgressors, and will bring low the pride of the haughty. ¹² And they that are left shall be more precious than gold tried in the fire; and a man shall be more precious than the stone that is in Ophir. ¹³ For the heaven shall be enraged, and the earth shall be shaken from her foundation, because of the fierce anger of the Lord of hosts, in the day in which His wrath shall come on. ¹⁴ And they that are left shall be as a fleeing fawn, and as a stray sheep, and there shall be none to gather them; so that a man shall turn back to his people, and a man shall flee to his own land. ¹⁵ For whosoever shall be taken shall be overcome; and they that are gathered together shall fall by the sword. ¹⁶ And they shall dash their children before their eyes; and they shall spoil their houses, and shall take their wives. ¹⁷ Behold, I will stir up the Medes against you, who do not regard silver, neither have they need of gold. ¹⁸ They shall break the bows of the young men; and they shall have no mercy on your children; nor shall their eyes spare your children. ¹⁹ And Babylon, which is called glorious by the king of the Chaldeans, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. ²⁰ It shall never be inhabited, neither shall any enter into it for many generations; neither shall the Arabians pass through it; nor shall shepherds at all rest in it. ²¹ But wild beasts shall rest there; and the houses shall be filled with howling; and monsters shall rest there, and demons shall dance there, ²² and satyrs shall dwell there; and hedgehogs shall make their nests in their houses. It will come soon, and will not tarry.

⁷ For that day is great, and there is none like it; and it is a time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

¹¹ And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for the execution of His words is mighty; for the day of the Lord is great, very glorious, and who shall be able to resist it?

³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

¹⁴ For the great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and very speedy; the sound of the day of the Lord is made bitter and harsh. ¹⁵ A mighty day of wrath is that day, a day of affliction and distress, a day of desolation and destruction, a day of gloominess and darkness, a day of clouds and vapor, ¹⁶ a day of the trumpet and cry against the strong cities, and against the high towers. ¹⁷ And I will greatly afflict the men, and they shall walk as blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord; therefore He shall pour out their blood as dust, and their flesh as dung. ¹⁸ And their silver and their gold shall by no means be able to rescue them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealously; for He will bring a speedy destruction on all them that inhabit the land.

² And who will abide the day of His coming? Or who will withstand at His appearing? For He is coming in as the fire of a furnace and as the herb of fullers.

³⁶ Watch therefore, praying always that you may be counted worthy to escape everything that is about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."

⁵ But according to your hardness and impenitent heart you are storing up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God,

⁶ And the angels who did not keep their own domain, but rather having left their own habitation, He has kept with everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;

¹⁴ For they are spirits of demons performing signs, which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
