²² For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

¹² neither shall I transgress; but I have hid His words in my bosom.

² But his pleasure is in the law of the Lord; and in His law will he meditate day and night.

⁸ The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes. ⁹ The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, and justified altogether. ¹⁰ To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

⁸ I desired to do Your will, O my God, and Your law in the midst of my heart.

¹⁶ I will meditate on Your statutes; I will not forget Your words.

²⁴ For Your testimonies are my meditation, and Your statutes are my counselors.

³⁵ Guide me in the path of Your commandments; for I have delighted in it.

⁴⁷ And I meditated on Your commandments, which I loved exceedingly. ⁴⁸ And I lifted up my hands to Your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in Your statutes.

⁷² The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

⁹² Were it not that Your law is my meditation, then I should have perished in my affliction.

⁹⁷ How I have loved Your law, O Lord! It is my meditation all the day. ⁹⁸ You have made me wiser than my enemies in Your commandment; for it is mine forever. ⁹⁹ I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my meditation. ¹⁰⁰ I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out Your commandments. ¹⁰¹ I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Your words. ¹⁰² I have not departed from Your judgments; for You have instructed me. ¹⁰³ How sweet are Your oracles to my taste! More so than honey to my mouth! ¹⁰⁴ I gain understanding by Your commandments; therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.

¹¹¹ I have inherited Your testimonies forever; for they are the joy of my heart.

¹¹³ I have hated transgressors; but I have loved Your law.

¹²⁷ Therefore have I loved Your commandments more than gold, or topaz.

¹⁶⁷ My soul has kept Your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.

¹⁷⁴ I have longed after Your salvation, O Lord; and Your law is my meditation.

⁷ Hear Me, you that know judgment, the people in whose heart is My law; fear not the reproach of men, and be not overcome by their contempt.

³⁴ Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

²⁹ but he is a Jew that is one inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, whose praise is not of men but of God.

⁷ Therefore the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it does not submit to the law of God, nor indeed can it.

¹⁶ Therefore we do not despair, but even if our outward man is being destroyed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

¹⁶ that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man,

⁹ Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old man with his practices,

¹⁰ For this is the covenant which I shall covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind, and I shall inscribe them upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

⁴ rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.
