¹⁷ And this is small in Your eyes, O Elohim, and You speak concerning the house of your servant afar off, and have seen me as a type of the man who is on high, O Yahweh Elohim!"

¹⁹ And yet this [is] little in Your eyes, Lord Yahweh, and You do speak also concerning the house of Your servant afar off; and this [is] the law of the Man, Lord Yahweh.

⁸ and I give to you the house of your lord, and the wives of your lord, into your bosom, and I give to you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if little, then I add to you such and such [things].

¹³ and also, that which you have not asked I have given to you, both riches and honor, that there has not been like you a man among the kings all your days;"

¹⁸ `And this has been light in the eyes of Yahweh, and he has given Moab into your hand,

⁷ `And now, thus do you say to My servant, to David, Thus said Yahweh of Hosts, I have taken you from the habitation, from after the sheep, to be leader over My people Israel, ⁸ and I am with you whithersoever you have walked, and I cut off all your enemies from your presence, and have made for you a name like the name of the great ones who [are] in the earth.

¹¹ and it has come to pass, when your days have been fulfilled to go with your fathers, that I have raised up your seed after you, who is of your sons, and I have established his kingdom, ¹² he does build for Me a house, and I have established his throne unto the eon;" ¹³ I am to him for a father, and he is to Me for a son, and My kindness I turn not aside from him as I turned it aside from him who was before you, ¹⁴ and I have established him in My house, and in My kingdom unto the eon, and his throne is established unto the eon.. ¹⁵ According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so spoke Nathan unto David.

⁷⁰ He chose David, His servant, And He took him from the folds of the flock;" ⁷¹ From following the ewes, He brought him To shepherd Jacob, His people, And Israel, His allotment." ⁷² So he shepherded them in the integrity of his heart, And by the understanding of his palms, he guided them."

¹⁹ Then You spoke in a vision to Your benign ones, And You said:I have poised help on a master; I have exalted one chosen from the people." ²⁰ I have found David My servant; With My holy oil have I anointed him, ²¹ With whom My hand shall stand readied; Indeed My arm shall make him resolute. ²² The enemy shall not astrict him, And the son of iniquity shall not humiliate him." ²³ I will pound down his foes before him, And I shall strike against those hating him." ²⁴ Yet My faithfulness and My benignity will be with him, And in My Name shall his horn be exalted." ²⁵ I will place his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the streams." ²⁶ He shall call out to Me, You are my Father, My El and the Rock of my salvation." ²⁷ Indeed, I shall make him the firstborn, The uppermost of the kings of the earth." ²⁸ For the eon shall I keep My benignity upon him, And My covenant with him is faithful." ²⁹ I will establish his seed for the future, And his throne as the days of the heavens." ³⁰ If his sons should forsake My law, And they should not walk in My ordinances, ³¹ If they should profane My statutes And should not keep My instructions, ³² Then I will visit their transgression with a club, And their depravity with contagions." ³³ Yet I shall not withdraw My benignity from him, And I shall not be false in My faithfulness." ³⁴ I shall not profane My covenant, And I shall not alter the utterance of My lips." ³⁵ Once for all have I sworn by My holiness; I shall assuredly not lie to David: ³⁶ His seed shall continue for the eon, And his throne as the sun in front of Me, ³⁷ Like the moon, it shall be established for the eon, Faithful like that witness in the sky. {Interlude{ "

⁶ And he is saying to me, "A slight thing is it for you to become My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and the dispersed of Israel to restore. Behold! I give you also for a light of the nations, to become My salvation unto the ends of the earth."

²⁰ Now to Him Who is able to do superexcessively above all that we are requesting or apprehending, according to the power that is operating in us,

⁸ and, being found in fashion as a human, He humbles Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." ⁹ Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, ¹¹ and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father."
