⁷⁸ and from beyond the Jordan by Jericho, at the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness and its suburbs, and Jahzah and its suburbs,

⁴¹ Then Moses separated three cities in Transjordan toward the sunrise, ⁴² for the fleeing there of the manslayer who slays his associate without knowledge, when he was not hating him heretofore. Then he will flee to one of these cities that he may live. ⁴³ Bezer in the wilderness in the tableland country for the Reubenite, and Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadite, and Golan in Bashan for the Manassite.

⁸ and beyond the Jordan, [at] Jericho eastward, they have given Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain, out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.

³⁶ And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its suburbs, and Jahazah and its suburbs, ³⁷ Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath and its suburbs--four cities.
