⁴² Thus also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is roused in incorruption.

¹⁹ In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread, till your return to the ground, for from it are you taken, for soil you are, and to soil are you returning.

¹⁴ I will call out to the grave, My father are you, To the worm, My mother and my sister.

¹⁰ For You shall not forsake my soul in the unseen; You shall not allow Your benign one to see corruption.

⁹ That he should live further, permanently, And not see the grave."

¹⁴ Like the flock, they are set for the unseen; Death, it shall graze on them. The upright shall sway over them in the morning; Their form is for decay, the unseen their residence."

¹⁷ Behold! For welfare there is bitterness to me; very great bitterness. Yet You are attached to my soul, to keep it from the ruin of decay, for You do fling behind Your body all my sins."

³ The intelligent shall warn as the warning of the atmosphere, and those justifying many are as the stars for the eon and further."

⁴³ Then shall the just be shining out as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

³⁵ Yet those deemed worthy to happen upon that eon and the resurrection from among the dead are neither marrying nor taking out in marriage. ³⁶ For neither can they still be dying, for they are equal to messengers, and are the sons of God, being sons of the resurrection."

²⁷ For Thou wilt not be forsaking my soul in the unseen, Nor wilt Thou be giving Thy Benign One to be acquainted with decay."

³¹ perceiving this before, he speaks concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither forsaken in the unseen, nor was His flesh acquainted with decay."

³⁴ Now, seeing that He raises Him from among the dead, by no means longer about to return to decay, He has thus declared that, I shall be giving you the faithful benignities of David.'" ³⁵ Wherefore, in a different place also, He is saying, 'Thou wilt not be giving Thy Benign One to be acquainted with decay.'" ³⁶ For David, indeed, subserving his own generation by God's counsel, was put to repose, and was added to his fathers, and was acquainted with decay;" ³⁷ yet He Whom God rouses was not acquainted with decay.

²³ and they change the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of a corruptible human being and flying creatures and quadrupeds and reptiles.

²¹ that the creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God."

⁵⁰ Now this I am averring, brethren, that flesh and blood is not able to enjoy an allotment in the kingdom of God, neither is corruption enjoying the allotment of incorruption." ⁵¹ Lo! a secret to you am I telling! We all, indeed, shall not be put to repose, yet we all shall be changed, ⁵² in an instant, in the twinkle of an eye, at the last trump. For He will be trumpeting, and the dead will be roused incorruptible, and we shall be changed." ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality." ⁵⁴ Now, whenever this corruptible should be putting on incorruption and this mortal should be putting on immortality, then shall come to pass the word which is written, Swallowed up was Death by Victory."

²⁰ For our realm is inherent in the heavens, out of which we are awaiting a Saviour also, the Lord, Jesus Christ, ²¹ Who will transfigure the body of our humilation, to conform it to the body of His glory, in accord with the operation which enables Him even to subject all to Himself."
