⁸ so that we may be keeping the festival, not with old leaven, nor yet with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with unleavened sincerity and truth."

¹⁵ Seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes. Yea, on the first day you shall eradicate yeast from your houses; for if anyone is eating what is leavened, from the first day unto the seventh day, then that soul will be cut off from Israel.

⁶ Seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes, and on the seventh day there shall be a celebration to Yahweh.

⁶ And on the fifteenth day of this month is the celebration of unleavened cakes to Yahweh. Seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes.

¹⁶ In the first month on the fourteenth day of the month is the passover to Yahweh. ¹⁷ And on the fifteenth day of this month is a celebration. For seven days unleavened cakes shall be eaten.

³ You shall not eat anything leavened with it. Seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes with it, the bread of humiliation (for in nervous haste you went forth from the country of Egypt), that you may remember the day of your going forth from the country of Egypt all the days of your life.

¹⁶ Three times in the year all your males shall appear before Yahweh your Elohim in the place that He shall choose:at the celebration of unleavened cakes, at the celebration of weeks and at the celebration of booths. And none shall appear before Yahweh empty-handed,

¹⁴ `And now, fear you Yahweh, and serve Him, in perfection and in truth, and turn aside the elohims which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt, and serve you Yahweh;"

² Happy is the human to whom Yahweh is not reckoning depravity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!"

⁴ Let me remember these things While I am pouring out my soul within me:How I would pass along with the assemblage; I would pilgrimage with them unto the House of Elohim, With voice of jubilant song and acclamation among the celebrating throng."

⁶ And Yahweh of hosts makes for all peoples, in this mountain, a feast of oils, a feast of lees, of oils from marrows, of filtered lees."

²⁹ A song is becoming yours, as of a night sanctifying a celebration, and rejoicing of heart, as one going with a flute to come into the mountain of Yahweh, to the Rock of Israel."

⁶ Now Jesus said to them, "See and take heed of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!"

¹² Then they understand that he did not say to take heed of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

⁴ and they plan that they should be laying hold of Jesus by guile and should be killing Him. ⁵ Yet they said, "Not in the festival, lest a tumult may be occurring among the people."

¹⁵ And He cautioned them, saying, "See! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."

¹ At which, a throng of ten thousand being assembled so as to be trampling one another, He begins to be saying to His disciples first, "Take heed to yourselves of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy."

⁴⁷ Jesus perceived Nathanael coming toward Him, and is saying concerning him, "Lo! truly an Israelite in whom there is no guile!"

²⁸ They are, then, leading Jesus from Caiaphas into the pretorium. Now it was morning, and they did not enter into the pretorium lest they may be defiled, but may be eating the passover." ²⁹ Pilate, then, came outside to them and is averring, "What accusation are you bringing against this man? ³⁰ They answered and said to him, "If this man were doing no evil, we would not give him up to you."

³ for you are still fleshly. For where there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and walking according to man?

¹ Absolutely, it is heard that there is prostitution among you, and such prostitution (which is not even named among the nations), so that someone has his father's wife."

⁶ Not ideal is your boast. Are you not aware that a little leaven is leavening the whole kneading?

⁹ Or are you not aware that the unjust shall not be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom? Be not deceived. Neither paramours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom." ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you are bathed off, but you are hallowed, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God."

¹² For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, yet more superabundantly toward you."

⁸ I am not saying this as an injunction, but, through the diligence of others, testing also the genuineness of this love of yours."

²⁰ For I fear, lest somehow, on coming, I may not be finding you such as I want, and I may be found by you such as you do not want; lest somehow there be strife, jealousy, fury, factions, vilifications, whisperings, puffing up, turbulences. " ²¹ Not again at my coming will my God be humbling me toward you, and I shall be mourning for many who have sinned before and are not repenting of the uncleanness and prostitution and wantonness which they commit."

¹⁷ This, then, I am saying and attesting in the Lord: By no means are you still to be walking according as those of the nations also are walking, in the vanity of their mind, ¹⁸ their comprehension being darkened, being estranged from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the callousness of their hearts, ¹⁹ who, being past feeling, in greed give themselves up with wantonness to all uncleanness as a vocation." ²⁰ Now you did not thus learn Christ, ²¹ since, surely, Him you hear, and by Him were taught (according as the truth is in Jesus), ²² to put off from you, as regards your former behavior, the old humanity which is corrupted in accord with its seductive desires,

²⁴ Grace be with all who are loving our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption! Amen!

¹ Putting off, then, all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envies and all vilifications, ² as recently born babes, long for the unadulterated milk of the word that by it you may be growing into salvation,

² 2 by no means still to spend the rest of his lifetime in the flesh in human desires, but in the will of God."

¹⁸ Little children, we should not be loving in word, neither in tongue, but in act and truth." ¹⁹ And in this shall we be knowing that we are of the truth and shall be persuading our hearts in front of Him, ²⁰ seeing that, if our heart should be censuring us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows all." ²¹ Beloved, if our heart should not be censuring us, we have boldness toward God,
