⁵⁶ `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; there has not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of Moses his servant.

²⁰ until Yahweh shall give rest to your brothers, as He gave to you, and they too will tenant the land that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to them across the Jordan. Then you may return, each to his tenancy, which I gave to you.

⁴⁴ and Yahweh gives rest to them round about, according to all that which He has sworn to their fathers, and there has not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, the whole of their enemies has Yahweh given into their hand;" ⁴⁵ there has not fallen a thing of all the good thing which Yahweh spoke unto the house of Israel--the whole has come.

¹⁴ `And lo, I am going, to-day, in the way of all the earth, and you have known--with all your heart, and with all your soul--that there has not fallen one thing of all the good things which Yahweh your Elohim has spoken concerning you; the whole have come to you; there has not failed of it one thing. <sup>15</sup> `And it has been, as there has come upon you all the good thing which Yahweh your Elohim has spoken unto you, so does Yahweh bring upon you the whole of the evil thing, till His destroying you from off this good ground which Yahweh your Elohim has given to you;"

³ Then we who believe are entering into the stopping, according as He has declared, "As I swear in My indignation, 'If they shall be entering into My stopping-!'although the works occur from the disruption of the world." ⁴ For He has declared somewhere concerning the seventh thus: And God stops "on the seventh day from all His works." ⁵ And in this again, "If they shall be entering into My stopping-!" ⁶ Since, then, it is left for some to be entering into it, and those to whom the evangel was formerly brought did not enter because of stubbornness, ⁷ He is again specifying a certain day, "Today"-saying in David after so much time, according as has been declared before, "Today, if ever His voice you should be hearing, You should not be hardening your hearts." ⁸ For if Joshua causes them to stop, He would not have spoken concerning another day after these things." ⁹ Consequently a sabbatism is left for the people of God.
