¹ Likewise wives may do it by being subject to their own husbands, that, if any are stubborn also, as to the word, they will be gained without a word, through the behavior of their wives, ² being spectators of your pure behavior in fear, ³ whose adornment, let it not be the outside, of braiding aught into the hair and of decking with gold, or putting on of garments, ⁴ but the hidden human of the heart, in the incorruptibility of a meek and quiet spirit, which, in God's sight, is costly." ⁵ For thus once the holy women also, whose expectation was in God, adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands" ⁶ (as Sarah obeys Abraham, calling him "lord,whose children you became), doing good and not fearing dismay in anything." ⁷ Husbands, likewise, may do it by making a home with them according to knowledge, awarding honor to the feminine as to the weaker vessel, as to those who are also joint enjoyers of the allotment of the varied grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered." ⁸ Now the finish; Be all of a like disposition, sympathetic, fond of the brethren, tenderly compassionate, of a humble disposition, ⁹ not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but, on the contrary, blessing, seeing that you were called for this, that you should be enjoying the allotment of blessing, ¹⁰ for He who is wanting to love life and be acquainted with good days, Let his tongue cease from evil And his lips speak no guile." ¹¹ Now let him avoid evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it, ¹² For the eyes of the Lord are on the just And His ears are for their petition, Yet the face of the Lord is on evil doers." ¹³ And is there anyone who will be illtreating you, if you should become zealous of good? ¹⁴ Yet if you may be suffering also because of righteousness, happy are you. Now you may not be afraid with their fear, nor yet be disturbed, ¹⁵ yet hallow the Lord Christ in your hearts, ever ready with a defense for everyone who is demanding from you an account concerning the expectation in you, but with meekness and fear, ¹⁶ having a good conscience, that, in what they are speaking against you as of evildoers, they may be mortified, who traduce your good behavior in Christ." ¹⁷ For it is better to be suffering for doing good, if the will of God may be willing, than for doing evil, ¹⁸ seeing that Christ also, for our sakes, once died concerning sins, the just for the sake of the unjust, that He may be leading us to God; being put to death, indeed, in flesh, yet vivified in spirit, ¹⁹ in which, being gone to the spirits in jail also, ²⁰ He heralds to those once stubborn, when the patience of God awaited in the days of Noah while the ark was being constructed, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were brought safely through water, ²¹ the representation of which, baptism, is now saving you also (not the putting off of the filth of the flesh, but the inquiry of a good conscience to God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, ²² Who is at God's right hand, being gone into heaven, messengers and authorities and powers being subjected to Him."

²³ And saying is the human, "This was once bone of my bones and flesh from my flesh. This shall be called woman, for from her man is this taken. ²⁴ Therefore a man shall forsake his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they two become one flesh.

¹⁶ And to the woman He says, "Multiplying, yea, multiplying am I your grief and the groaning of your pregnancy. In grief shall you bear sons. "Yet by your husband is your restoration, and he shall rule over you.

³ And saying is Yahweh Elohim, "Not abide shall My spirit in the human for the eon, in that moreover, he is flesh. And come shall his days to be a hundred and twenty years.

⁵ And seeing is Yahweh Elohim that much is the evil of humanity in the earth, and every form of the devices of its heart is but evil all its days.

¹³ And saying is the Elohim to Noah, "The era of the end of all human flesh is come before Me, for full is the earth with wrong because of their presence. Now behold Me ruining them with the earth.

¹³ On this very day come Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth, Noah's sons, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons, with them, into the ark,

¹⁷ And coming is the deluge forty days and forty nights on the earth. And increasing are the waters, and lifting up the ark, and it is high above the earth. ¹⁸ And having the mastery are the waters and they are increasing exceedingly on the earth, and going is the ark on the surface of the water. ¹⁹ And the water has the mastery exceeding exceedingly on the earth. And covered are all the lofty mountains which are under the entire heavens. ²⁰ Fifteen cubits above has the water the mastery, and covered are all the mountains. ²¹ And expiring is all flesh moving on the earth, of flyer, and of beast, and of living animal, and of every roaming animal roaming on the earth, and every human. ²² Everyone which has the breath of the spirit of the living in his nostrils, of all that were in the drained area, dies. ²³ And wiped off is every risen thing which was on the surface of all the ground, from human to beast, from moving animal to the flyer of the heavens. And being wiped are they from the earth. Yea, only Noah is remaining, and what is with him in the ark.

¹ Now mindful is the Elohim of Noah and every living animal and every beast and every flyer and every moving animal which is with him in the ark. And the Elohim is causing a wind to pass over the earth, and subsiding are the waters.

¹⁸ And forth is faring Noah, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him.

¹² And laughing is Sarah within herself saying, "After my decadence shall luxury come to me? It has not come to me till now. My lord also is old.

¹⁵ Then dissimulating is Sarah, saying, "Not laugh did I,for she is fearful. And saying is He, "No! For laugh did you.

²² And coming is it, as the camels finish drinking, taking is the man a pendant of gold, its weight a bekah, and is placing it on her nose, and two bracelets on her hands of ten gold shekels' weight.

⁴⁷ And asking her am I and saying, `Whose daughter are you?' And saying is she, `A daughter of Bethuel, son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore for him.' And placing am I the pendant on her nose and the bracelets on her hands.

⁵³ And forth is the servant bringing articles of silver and articles of gold and clothes, and is giving them to Rebecca. And token presents he gives to her brother and her mother.

²² for each woman will ask of her neighbour, and of her who sojourns in her house, for articles of silver and articles of gold and garments. And you will place them on your sons and on your daughters, and you will despoil the Egyptians.

² Then Aaron said to them: Tear off the pendants of gold which are in the ears of your wives, your sons and your daughters, and bring them to me.

⁴ When the people heard this evil word, they mourned, and no man set his ornaments on him;"

²² The men entered along with their wives, all with a willing heart. They brought clasps and pendants and rings and plaited ornaments, every article of gold. So did every man who would wave a wave offering of gold to Yahweh.

⁸ Then he made the laver of copper and its post of copper, from the mirrors of the women stationed for service who enlisted at the portal of the tent of appointment.

¹⁰ As for any man from the house of Israel and from the sojourners sojourning in your midst who should eat any blood, I will set My face against the soul eating blood, and I will cut him off from among his people,

³ I Myself shall set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people (for he has given of his seed to Moloch) on account of the defilement of My sanctuary and the profanation of My holy name.

⁶ As for the soul who should countenance mediums and wizards to prostitute after them, I will set My face against that soul also and cut him off from among his people.

¹⁷ I will set My face against you, and you will be struck down before your enemies; those hating you will hold sway over you, and you will flee even when there is no one pursuing you.

¹² Yet Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron:Because you did not believe in Me to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I will give to them.

¹⁴ Just as in the contention of the congregation both of you rebelled against My bidding in the wilderness of Zin to sanctify Me at the waters before their eyes. (These were the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

¹² a land which Yahweh your Elohim is caring for. Continually are the eyes of Yahweh your Elohim on it from the beginning of the year until the last part of the year.

⁴⁷ For it is not an empty word for you; it means your life, and by this word you may prolong your days on the ground where you are crossing over the Jordan to tenant it.

¹ And Hannah prays, and said:`My heart has exulted in Yahweh, My horn has been high in Yahweh, My mouth has been large over mine enemies, For I have rejoiced in Your salvation.

⁷ and, now, station yourselves, and I judge you before Yahweh, with all the righteous acts of Yahweh, which He did with you, and with your fathers.

⁷ And Yahweh said unto Samuel, `Look not unto his appearance, and unto the height of his stature, for I have rejected him; for [it is] not as man sees--for man looks at the eyes, and Yahweh looks at the heart..

³⁰ And Jehu comes in to Jezreel, and Jezebel has heard, and puts her eyes in paint and makes right her head, and looks out through the window.

¹⁵ `Now, Mine eyes are open, and Mine ears attentive, to the prayer of this place;"

⁹ for Yahweh--His eyes go to and fro in all the earth, to show Himself strong [for] a people whose heart [is] perfect towards Him; you have been foolish concerning this, because--henceforth there are with you wars..

³⁰ `And You draw over them many years, and testify against them by Your Spirit, by the hand of Your prophets, and they have not given ear, and You do give them into the hand of peoples of the lands,

¹⁶ Memucan then replied before the king and the chief officials:``It was not the king himself alone whom queen Vashti has depraved, but all chief officials and all peoples in all provinces of king Xerxes. <sup>17</sup> For the affair of the queen shall go forth to all the wives and cause them to despise their spouses in their own eyes when they say, that king Xerxes himself ordered to bring queen Vashti before him, but she did not come. <sup>18</sup> So this very day the chief ladies of Persia and Media, who have heard of the queen's affair, shall cite it to all the king's chief officials, and there will be sufficient contempt and wrath. <sup>19</sup> ``If it seems good to the king, a royal decree may go forth from before him, and it may be written into the edicts of Persia and Media so that it can not be revoked, that Vashti must never again enter into the presence of king Xerxes, and that the king shall bestow her royal position upon a mate of her who is better than she. ²⁰ When the king's rescript, that he must execute, is announced in all his kingdom, vast as it is, then all wives shall render esteem to their spouses from the greatest unto the smallest.'.

¹ It was on the third day that Esther put on royal clothing and took her stand in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house, while the king was sitting on his royal throne in the royal house, over against the portal of the house.

¹ There was a man in the country of Uz. Job was his name. And this man was flawless and upright, fearing Elohim and withdrawing from evil.

³ So Yahweh said to Satan, Have you set your heart against my servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a man flawless and upright, fearing Elohim and withdrawing from evil. And he still is holding fast to his integrity, though you would incite Me against him to swallow him up gratuitously. ⁴ Then Satan answered Yahweh and said, Skin in behalf of skin, for all that a man has would he give in behalf of his soul.

⁷ Remember that my life is a wind; My eye shall not turn back again to see good. ⁸ The eye of Him with sight shall not regard me; Your eyes will look for me, but I will not be there.

²⁵ My days are fleeter than a runner; They race away without having seen good.

²⁸ And He said to mankind, Behold, the fear of Yahweh, it is wisdom, And to withdraw from evil is understanding.

²⁸ He ransomed my soul from passing into the pit, And my life is seeing the light.

⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done.

⁴ Yahweh is in His holy temple; Yahweh--His throne is in the heavens. His eyes are perceiving; His eyelids are testing the sons of humanity.

⁹ He shall cause the humble to tread in right judgment, And He shall teach the humble His way."

¹³ I believe that I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.

¹² Who is the man whose delight is life, Loving sufficient days in order to see good? ¹³ Preserve your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit. ¹⁴ Withdraw from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it."

¹⁴ Withdraw from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it." ¹⁵ The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their imploring." ¹⁶ The face of Yahweh is against those doing evil, To cut off their remembrance from the earth."

²⁷ Withdraw from evil, and do good; Then tabernacle for the eon."

²⁰ Those repaying evil for good, They are my adversaries in my pursuit of the good."

⁹ Daughters of kings are among Your precious ones; The consort is stationed at Your right hand with certified gold of Ophir.

¹³ All glorious is the royal daughter while inside; Her clothing is with mountings of gold;

¹⁹ Yet he shall come unto the generation of his fathers; Unto permanence, they shall not see light."

⁶ Behold, You delight in truth even in the hidden parts, And in the secret parts You cause me to know wisdom."

² O Hearer of prayer, Unto You all flesh shall come."

¹⁶ It is burned with fire, obliterated; At the rebuke of Your countenance they are perishing."

¹³ As a father shows compassion over his sons, So Yahweh shows compassion over those fearing Him."

⁵ That I may see the good of Your chosen ones, To rejoice in the rejoicing of Your own nation, To praise with Your allotment."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ The averring of Yahweh to my Lord:Sit at My right Until I should set Your enemies as a stool for Your feet.

⁴⁶ I will speak of Your testimonies in front of kings And not be ashamed.

⁶ Long enough for itself has my soul tabernacled With a people hating peace. ⁷ I am for peace, yet when I speak They are for war."

⁴ Do good, O Yahweh, to the good And to those who are upright in their hearts."

² Assuredly I have poised and stilled my soul Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul to me.

⁶ Yahweh is bolstering up the humbled ones, Abasing the wicked to the earth."

¹⁰ Not in the horse's mastery is He delighting; Not in the legs of a man is He placing approval; ¹¹ Yahweh is placing approval in those fearing Him, In those waiting for His benignity."

⁴ For Yahweh is placing approval on His people; He is making the humble beautiful with salvation.

² For length of days and years of life And peace shall they add to you.

⁷ Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yahweh and withdraw from evil.

¹⁸ She is a tree of life to those holding fast to her, And those upholding her will be happy."

²² For they are life to those finding them, And to one's entire flesh, they are health."

¹⁵ Drink water from your own cistern, And the flowings from the midst of your own well;" ¹⁶ Should your springs scatter forth in the streets, Your rillets of water in the public squares? ¹⁷ Let them be yours, for you alone, And not for aliens along with you." ¹⁸ May your fountain become blessed; Rejoice in the wife of your youth, ¹⁹ A loving hind and a graceful ibex; May her affections satisfy you in every season; May you be intoxicated by her love continually.

³⁵ For whoever finds me will find life And shall gain hold of benevolence from Yahweh.

³⁰ The fruit of a righteous man is a tree of life, And he who procures souls is wise."

³ The eyes of Yahweh are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good ones."

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet the prayer of the upright is acceptable to Him." ⁹ An abhorrence to Yahweh is the way of the wicked one, Yet the one pursuing righteousness He loves."

²⁹ Yahweh is far from the wicked, Yet He hears the prayer of the righteous."

⁶ By benignity and faithfulness depravity shall be sheltered, And by the fear of Yahweh a man will withdraw from evil." ⁷ When a man's ways please Yahweh He makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

¹⁷ The highway of the upright goes away from evil; He guards his soul who preserves his way.

¹³ If one returns evil for good, Evil shall not remove itself from his house."

¹⁹ A brother transgressed against is more unyielding than a strong town, And quarrels are like bars of a citadel."

²² Do not say, I shall repay for evil; Be expectant toward Yahweh, and He shall save you."

⁸ He who increases his wealth by interest and by increase Is getting it together for him who is gracious to the poor.

¹⁰ A wife of ability, who can find? Far more than rubies is her worth."

³⁰ Grace may be false and loveliness vain, But the woman fearful of Yahweh, she shall be praised."

³ I explored within my heart by stimulating my flesh with wine (While my heart was leading with wisdom) And by getting a hold on frivolity, Until I should see just where good may be for the sons of humanity In what they do under the heavens during the number of days in their lives."

¹⁶ Wash yourselves! Purge yourselves! Take away the evil of your actions from in front of My eyes! ¹⁷ Leave off the evil! Learn to be good! Inquire for judgment! Make happy the wronged! Judge the orphan! Contend for the widow! ¹⁸ Go, pray and it shall be corrected,saying is Yahweh. "If your sins are coming to be as double dipped scarlet, as snow shall they be white. If they are reddened as crimson, as wool shall they become."

¹⁸ And my Lord will take away the beauty of their covering, and their ornaments, the anklets and the networks and the crescents, ¹⁹ and the drops, and the navel ornaments, and the spangles, ²⁰ and the tiaras, and the stepping chains, and the ribbons, and the refreshment vials and the charm whistles, ²¹ and the rings and nose pendants, ²² and the costumes and the lounging robes, and the shawls and the wallets, ²³ and the rolls and the shirts, and the turbans and the draperies." ²⁴ And instead of the aromatics, coming is putrefaction, and instead of a girdle skirt, coming is a girth, and instead of the doing of a coiffure, baldness, and instead of rich attire, a girding of sackcloth, branding instead of loveliness."

¹⁶ And lofty is Yahweh of hosts in judgment, and holy El is hallowed in righteousness."

¹² You shall not say what is obstinate, for all that this people are saying is obstinacy. And you shall not fear their fear nor be terrified." ¹³ Yahweh of hosts--Him shall you sanctify, and He shall be your fear, and He shall be your terror."

⁴ Yet He will judge with righteousness the poor, and correct with equity for the humble of the land. And He will smite the earth with the club of His mouth, and with the spirit of His lips will He put to death the wicked."

¹⁹ and the humble will continue to rejoice in Yahweh, and the needy of humanity will exult in the Holy One of Israel."

²³ For when they see their boys, the work of My hands, within them, they will hallow My name, and they will hallow the Holy One of Jacob, and by the Elohim of Israel shall they be terrified."

¹⁸ Wherefore Yahweh is tarrying, to be gracious to you; wherefore He is exalting Himself to show compassion to you. For an Elohim of judgment is Yahweh, and where are you leaving your glory? Happy are all tarrying for him!"

¹⁰ You must not fear, for I am with you, and you must not take heed for yourself, for I am your Elohim. I make you resolute; indeed, I help you. Indeed, I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.'" ¹¹ Behold! Ashamed and confounded shall all be who were hot with you. They are coming to be as nothing. And perish shall all mortals who contend with you. ¹² You shall seek them, yet shall not find them. And the mortals with whom you strive shall come to be as nothing, and a limit is reached by the mortals who war with you." ¹³ For I, Yahweh, your Elohim, am holding fast your right hand, saying to you, `You must not fear; I, I help you." ¹⁴ You must not fear, worm Jacob, and death-doomed of Israel, I, I help you,'averring is Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel."

²¹ Bring your contention near!saying is Yahweh Elohim, "Bring your counselors close,saying is the King of Jacob."

⁷ to unclose the eyes that are blind, to bring forth the prisoner from his enclosure, and those dwelling in darkness from the house of detention."

⁹ to say to those bound, `Fare forth,' and to those in darkness, `Be revealed!' And on all their mountains shall they graze. And all ridges shall be their pasture."

¹² I, I am He, your Comforter. Who are you, that you are fearing a mortal who is dying, and a son of Adam who as grass is drying?

¹ Rouse! Rouse! Clothe yourself with your ornaments, O Zion! Clothe yourself in your beautiful cloaks, Jerusalem, the holy city! For no more shall come into you any longer the uncircumcised and unclean."

⁴ Surely our illnesses has He borne, and our pains--He was burdened with them. Yet we account Him touched, smitten by the Elohim and humbled." ⁵ Yet He was wounded because of our transgressions, and crushed because of our depravities. The discipline for our welfare was on Him, and by His welts there is healing for us." ⁶ All of us, as a flockling, have strayed; each man to his own way, we face, yet Yahweh, in Him, intercedes because of all our depravity."

¹¹ And of whom are you anxious and fearing, that you lie to Me, and Me you do not remember, and do not lay it to heart? Have I not hushed, and this from the eon, yet you are not fearing Me?

¹⁵ For thus says Yahweh, high and lifted up, who tabernacles the future, and holy is His name:"In the high and holy place am I tabernacling, and with the crushed and lowly spirit, to preserve alive the spirit of the lowly, and to preserve alive the heart of the crushed."

¹ The spirit of My Lord Yahweh is on Me, because Yahweh anoints Me to bear tidings to the humble. He sends Me to bind up the broken hearted, to herald to captives, liberty, and, to the blind, the unclosing of the eyes, and, to the bound, to take the jubilee,

¹⁰ With elation will I be elated in Yahweh. My soul shall exult in my Elohim. For he clothes me with the garments of salvation, and in the robe of righteousness will He muffle me, as a bridegroom with a priestly beautiful turban, and as a bride is ornamenting herself with her outfit."

⁸ Be not afraid of their faces, for with you [am] I to deliver you, --an affirmation of Yahweh.'"

³² Does a virgin forget her ornaments? A bride her bands? And My people have forgotten Me days without number.

³⁰ And you, O spoiled one, what do you? For you put on scarlet, For you adorn yourself [with] ornaments of gold. For you rend with pain your eyes, In vain you do make yourself fair, Kicked against you have doting ones, Your life they do seek."

¹⁵ You, You have known, O Yahweh, Remember me, and inspect me, And take vengeance for me of my pursuers, In Your long-suffering take me not away, Know--I have borne for You reproach."

¹⁰ For I have set My face against this city for evil, And not for good--an affirmation of Yahweh. Into the hand of the king of Babylon it is given, And he has burned it with fire."

¹² And Jeremiah speaks unto all the heads, and unto all the people, saying, `Yahweh sent me to prophesy concerning this house, and concerning this city, all the words that you have heard;" <sup>13</sup> And now, amend your ways, and your doings, and hearken to the voice of Yahweh your Elohim, and Yahweh does repent concerning the evil that He has spoken against you." <sup>14</sup> `And I, lo, I [am] in your hand, do to me as is good and as is right in your eyes;" ¹⁵ Only, know you certainly, that if you are putting me to death, surely innocent blood you are putting on yourselves, and on this city, and on its inhabitants; for truly has Yahweh sent me unto you to speak in your ears all these words.'" ¹⁶ And the heads and all the people say unto the priests and unto the prophets, `There is not for this man a judgment of death, for in the name of Yahweh our Elohim he has spoken unto us.'"

¹¹ Leave your orphans--I do keep alive, And your widows--on Me trust you,

⁵⁹ The word that Jeremiah the prophet has commanded Seraiah son of Neriah, son of Maaseiah, in his going with Zedekiah king of Judah to Babylon, in the fourth year of his reign--and Seraiah [is] a quiet prince;"

⁹ As an adamant harder than a rock I have made your forehead; you do not fear them, nor are you affrighted before them, for a rebellious house [are] they.'"

⁷ And I have set My face against them, From the fire they have gone forth, And the fire does consume them, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My setting My face against them."

⁷ A myriad--as the shoot of the field I have made you, And you are multiplied, and are great, And come in with an excellent adornment, Breasts have been formed, and your hair has grown--And you, naked and bare!" ⁸ And I pass over by you, and I see you, And lo, your time [is] a time of loves, And I spread My skirt over you, And I cover your nakedness, And I swear to you, and come in to a covenant with you, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, And you do become Mine." ⁹ And I do wash you with water, And I wash away your blood from off you, And I anoint you with perfume." ¹⁰ And I clothe you with embroidery, And I shoe you with badger's skin, And I gird you with fine linen, And I cover you with figured silk." ¹¹ And I adorn you with adornments, And I give bracelets for your hands, And a chain for your neck." ¹² And I give a ring for your nose, And rings for your ears, And a crown of beauty on your head." ¹³ And you do put on gold and silver, And your clothing [is] fine linen, And figured silk and embroidery, Fine flour, and honey, and oil you have eaten, And you are very very beautiful, And do go prosperously to the kingdom."

⁴⁰ And also that they send to men coming from afar, Unto whom a messenger is sent, And lo, they have come in for whom you have washed, Painted your eyes, and put on adornment."

²⁵ And I have sprinkled over you clean water, And you have been clean; From all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, I do cleanse you." ²⁶ And I have given to you a new heart, And a new spirit I give in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone out of your flesh, And I have given to you a heart of flesh."

¹⁶ Answering are Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego and saying to king Nebuchadnezzar, "Not necessary is it for us to reply to you concerning this rescript." ¹⁷ Should it actually happen, our Eloah in the heavens, Whom we are serving, can deliver us from the glowing, flaming furnace; and from your hand, O king, will He deliver us." ¹⁸ Should He not, be it known to you, O king, that actually your elohim we will not serve, and the golden image that you set up we will not worship."

⁵ Now may the God of endurance and consolation grant you to be mutually disposed to one another, according to Christ Jesus,
