³¹ Do not countenance mediums and wizards; do not seek them out to be defiled by them:I, Yahweh am your Elohim.

¹¹ or charming with charms, one asking of a medium or wizard or inquiring after the dead.

¹¹ And Manasseh has in Issachar and in Asher, Beth-Shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns, three counties.

³ And Samuel has died, and all Israel mourn for him, and bury him in Ramah, even in his city, and Saul has turned aside those having familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

² and Ahaziah falls through the lattice in his upper chamber that [is] in Samaria, and is sick, and sends messengers, and said unto them, `Go you, inquire of Baal-Zebub elohim of Ekron if I recover from this sickness.. <sup>3</sup> And a messenger of Yahweh has spoken unto Elijah the Tishbite, `Rise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and speak unto them, Is it because there is not an Elohim in Israel--you are going to inquire of Baal Zebub elohim of Ekron?

³³ He is yet speaking with them, and lo, the messenger is coming down unto him, and he said, `Lo, this [is] the evil from Yahweh:what--do I wait for Yahweh any more?.

¹³ And Saul dies because of his trespass that he trespassed against Yahweh, against the word of Yahweh that he kept not, and also for asking at a familiar spirit--to inquire, -.

¹⁰ They were exterminated at Endor; They became manure for the ground.

¹⁹ And in case they shall say to you, "Inquire of the mediums, and of the ventriloquists, and of the wizards, the chirpers and the cooers,Should not a people of its Elohim inquire? Who inquires about the living of the dead? ²⁰ To the law and to the testimony! If they are not speaking according to this word, there is no bribe for them"

³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards."

²⁵ Yahweh is good to those who are expectant, to the soul that seeks after Him;" ²⁶ It is good that one should wait in stillness for the salvation of Yahweh;

³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time; and it will bud at the end, and will not lie dormant. If it be dallying, tarry for it, for it will surely come, and it will not delay."

¹⁶ Now it occurred, at our going to prayer, a certain maid, having a python spirit, meets us, who afforded a vast income to her masters, divining."
