³ And they say, `If you are sending away the ark of the Elohim of Israel, you do not send it away empty; for you do certainly send back to Him a guilt-offering; then you are healed, and it has been known to you why His hand does not turn aside from you..

¹⁵ you shall observe the celebration of unleavened cakes; seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes, just as I instructed you, at the appointed time in the month Aviv, for in it you went forth from Egypt, and none shall appear before Me empty-handed.

²⁰ Yet the male opening up of a donkey you shall ransom with a flockling, and if you should not ransom it then you will break its neck. Every firstborn of your sons you shall ransom. And none shall appear before Me empty-handed.

⁶ and he will bring as his guilt offering to Yahweh for his sin with which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a sheep or a hairy female of the goats, as a sin offering. Then the priest will make a propitiatory shelter over him for his sin with which he has sinned, and it will be pardoned him.

¹⁵ When a soul offends with an offense and sins inadvertently in any of the holy things of Yahweh, then he will bring as his guilt offering to Yahweh, a flawless ram from the flock, by your appraisal in silver shekels by the shekel of the holy place, as a guilt offering. ¹⁶ Whatever he has sinned in any of the holy things he shall repay, add a fifth of its value to it and give it to the priest. The priest, he shall make a propitiatory shelter over him with the ram of the guilt offering; and it will be pardoned him. ¹⁷ When a soul should sin inadvertently and does something departing from any of the instructions of Yahweh of what should not be done even if he does not know it, when he realizes his guilt and bears his depravity, ¹⁸ then he will bring a flawless ram from the flock, by your appraisal in silver shekels as a guilt offering to the priest. Thus the priest will make a propitiatory shelter over him for his error in which he has erred, even though he himself did not know it, and it will be pardoned him;" ¹⁹ it is a guilt offering. He was guilty, yea guilty toward Yahweh.

⁶ He shall bring to the priest as his guilt offering to Yahweh, a flawless ram from the flock, by your appraisal in silver shekels as a guilt offering.

¹ This is the law of the guilt offering; it is a holy of holies. ² In the place where they slay the ascent offering they shall slay the guilt offering. Its blood shall one sprinkle against the altar round about; ³ and all its fat shall he bring near from it:the fat tail, the fat covering the inwards, ⁴ and all the fat which is on the inwards, the two kidneys and the fat which is around them, at the hips, and the protuberance on the liver; along with the kidneys shall he take it away. ⁵ Then the priest will cause them to fume on the altar, a fire offering to Yahweh; it is a guilt offering. ⁶ Every male among the priests shall eat of it. In a holy place shall it be eaten; it is a holy of holies. ⁷ As the sin offering so is the guilt offering. There is one law for them. The priest who makes the propitiatory shelter with it, his shall it become.

¹⁶ Three times in the year all your males shall appear before Yahweh your Elohim in the place that He shall choose:at the celebration of unleavened cakes, at the celebration of weeks and at the celebration of booths. And none shall appear before Yahweh empty-handed,

⁷ And the men of Ashdod see that [it is] so, and have said, `The ark of the Elohim of Israel does not abide with us, for hard has been His hand upon us, and upon Dagon our elohim..

⁹ and it comes to pass after they have brought it round, that the hand of Yahweh is against the city--a very great destruction; and He smites the men of the city, from small even unto great; and break forth on them do emerods.

¹¹ And they send and gather all the princes of the Philistines, and say, `Send away the ark of the Elohim of Israel, and it turns back to its place, and it does not put us to death--and our people;' for there has been a deadly destruction throughout all the city, very heavy has the hand of Elohim been there,

⁹ and you have seen, if the way of its own border it goes up to Beth-Shemesh--He has done to us this great evil; and if not, then we have known that His hand has not come against us; an accident it has been to us..

² I shall say to Eloah, O do not condemn me! Let me know for what reason You contend with me!"

³¹ Indeed has one said to El, I have been lured away; I shall not harm any more;" ³² Until I can perceive, direct me Yourself; If I have contrived iniquity, I shall not do so again?
