1 Timothy 3:5 Cross References - CLV

⁵ now if anyone is not aware how to control his own household, how will he care for the ecclesia of God? -"

²⁹ Why do you kick at My sacrifice, and at Mine offering which I commanded [in] My habitation, and do honor your sons above Me, to make yourselves fat from the first part of every offering of Israel, of My people? ³⁰ `Therefore--the affirmation of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel--I certainly said, Your house and the house of your father, do walk up and down before Me to the eon; and now--the affirmation of Yahweh--Far be it from Me! for he who is honoring Me, I honor, and those despising Me, are lightly esteemed.

¹³ and I have declared to him that I am judging his house--to the eon, for the iniquity which he has known, for his sons are making themselves vile, and he has not restrained them,

²⁸ Take heed to yourselves and to the entire flocklet, among which the holy spirit appointed you supervisors, to be shepherding the ecclesia of God, which He procures through the blood of His Own."

³² And become not a stumbling block to Jews as well as to Greeks and to the ecclesia of God,

²² and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia"

²⁴ Nevertheless, as the ecclesia is subject to Christ, thus are the wives also to their husbands in everything."

³² This secret is great: yet I am saying this as to Christ and as to the ecclesia.

¹⁵ yet, if I should be tardy, that you may be perceiving how one must behave in God's house, which is the ecclesia of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth."
