⁷ In mine adversity I call Yahweh, And unto my Elohim I call, And He hears from His temple my voice, And my cry [is] in His ears,

⁷ Then Yahweh said: I see, yea see the humiliation of My people who are in Egypt. And I hear their crying because of the presence of their exactors; for I know their pains.

²⁸ `Then you have turned unto the prayer of Your servant, and unto his supplication, O Yahweh my Elohim, to hearken unto the cry and unto the prayer which Your servant is praying before You to-day, <sup>29</sup> for Your eyes being open towards this house night and day, towards the place of which You have said, My Name is there; to hearken unto the prayer which Your servant prays towards this place. <sup>30</sup> `Then You have hearkened unto the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, which they pray towards this place; yea, You do hearken in the place of Your dwelling, in the heavens--and You have hearkened, and have forgiven,

⁶ In my distress I called on Yahweh, And to my Elohim I implored. From His temple He heard my voice, And my imploring before Him, it came to His ears."

⁴ One thing I have asked from Yahweh-- Only it am I seeking:That I may dwell in the House of Yahweh all the days of my life, To perceive the pleasantness of Yahweh, And to make my quest in His Temple."

⁶ This humbled one called, and Yahweh heard, And from all his distresses, He saved him."

¹⁵ The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their imploring." ¹⁶ The face of Yahweh is against those doing evil, To cut off their remembrance from the earth." ¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and Yahweh hears, And He rescues them from all their distresses."

⁴ Then I called on the Name of Yahweh, Oh Yahweh, do make a way of escape for my soul."

⁴ And I said, I am driven out from in front of Your eyes. Yea, I will continue to look to Your holy temple."

⁷ When my soul droops within me, I remember Yahweh, and my prayer is coming to You, to Your holy temple."

²⁰ Yet Yahweh is in His holy temple! Hist! all the earth, because of His presence!"

³⁸ Then He is saying to them, Sorrow-stricken is My soul to death. Remain here and watch with Me." ³⁹ And coming forward a little, He falls on His face, praying and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass by from Me. However, not as I will, but as Thou!"

⁴⁴ And coming to be in a struggle, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became as if clots of blood descending on the earth."

⁷ Who, in the days of His flesh, offering both petitions and supplications with strong clamor and tears to Him Who is able to save Him out of death, being hearkened to also for His piety,

⁴ Lo! the wage of the workers, who mow your country places, which has been withheld by you, is crying, and the imploring of the reapers has entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts."
