²³ for the husband is head of the wife even as Christ is Head of the ecclesia, and He is the Saviour of the body."

Now if it is a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covering." ⁷ For a man, indeed, ought not to be covering his head, being inherently the image and glory of God. Yet the woman is the glory of the man." ⁸ For man is not out of woman, but woman out of man." ⁹ For, also, man is not created because of the woman, but woman because of the man." ¹⁰ Therefore the woman ought to have authority over her head because of the messengers.

²² and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia" ²³ which is His body, the complement of the One completing the all in all."

¹⁵ Now, being true, in love we should be making all grow into Him, Who is the Head - Christ"

²⁵ Husbands, be loving your wives according as Christ also loves the ecclesia, and gives Himself up for its sake, ²⁶ that He should be hallowing it, cleansing it in the bath of the water (with His declaration),

¹⁸ And He is the Head of the body, the ecclesia, Who is Sovereign, Firstborn from among the dead, that in all He may be becoming first,

¹⁰ and to be waiting for His Son out of the heavens, Whom He rouses from among the dead, Jesus, our Rescuer out of the coming indignation."

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to be taking the scroll and to open its seals, For Thou wast slain and dost buy us for God by Thy blood. Out of every tribe and language and people and nation."
