And behold, if the truth of the matter is being established that this abhorrence was done among you, ¹⁵ then you shall smite, yea smite the dwellers of that city with the edge of the sword. Doom it, all those who are in it and its domestic beasts, with the edge of the sword.

And behold, if the truth of the matter is established that this abhorrence was done in Israel, ⁵ then you must bring forth that man or that woman who did this evil thing to your gates, the man or the woman, and you will stone them with stones so that they die.

⁸ In case a matter for judgment should be too difficult for you, between blood and blood, between adjudication and adjudication and between assault and assault, any matters of contentions in your gates, then you will arise and ascend to the place which Yahweh your Elohim shall choose. ⁹ And you will come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge who shall come to be in those days; they will inquire and tell you the word of judgment.

¹⁰ There shall not be found among you one causing his son or his daughter to pass through fire, or one divining divinations, or consulting clouds, auguring or enchantin. ¹¹ or charming with charms, one asking of a medium or wizard or inquiring after the dead.

Then you will leave it before Yahweh your Elohim and bow yourself down before Yahweh your Elohim.

⁴ And Samson goes and catches three hundred foxes, and takes torches, and turns tail unto tail, and puts a torch between the two tails, in the midst, ⁵ and kindles fire in the torches, and sends [them] out into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burns [it] from heap even unto standing corn, even unto vineyard--olive-yard.

²⁵ And Saul said, `Thus do you say to David, There is no delight to the king in dowry, but in a hundred foreskins of the Philistines--to be avenged on the enemies of the king;' and Saul thought to cause David to fall by the hand of the Philistines.

⁶ and he said to his men, `Far be it from me, by Yahweh; I do not do this thing to my lord--to the anointed of Yahweh--to put forth my hand against him, for the anointed of Yahweh he [is]..

⁹ And the woman said unto him, `Lo, you have known that which Saul has done, that he has cut off those having familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land; and why are you laying a snare for my soul--to put me to death?.

⁶ and the ewe-lamb he does repay fourfold, because that he has done this thing, and because that he had no pity..

³⁰ And he said unto his servants, `See, the portion of Joab [is] by the side of mine, and he has barley there; go, and burn it with fire;' and the servants of Absalom burn the portion with fire. <sup>31</sup> And Joab rises and comes unto Absalom in the house, and said unto him, `Why have your servants burned the portion that I have with fire?.

⁴² and the king sends and calls for Shimei, and said unto him, `Have I not caused you to swear by Yahweh--and I testify against you, saying, In the day of your going out, and you have gone anywhere, you do certainly know that you do surely die; and you say unto me, The word I have heard [is] good? ⁴³ and wherefore have you not kept the oath of Yahweh, and the charge that I charged upon you?.

³¹ that which a man sins against his neighbor, and he has lifted up upon him an oath to cause him to swear, and the oath has come in before Your altar in this house,

¹⁰ and any strife that comes in unto you of your brethren who are dwelling in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and command, statutes, and judgments, then you have warned them and they become not guilty before Yahweh, and wrath has not been on you and on your brethren; thus do you do, and you are not guilty.

⁹ for in your turning back unto Yahweh, your brethren and your sons have mercies before their captors, even to return to this land, for gracious and merciful [is] Yahweh your Elohim, and He does not turn aside the face from you, if you turn back unto Him..

⁵ and at the spreading forth of the thing have the sons of Israel multiplied the first-fruit of corn, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field, and the tithe of the whole in abundance they have brought in.

² yea, there are who are saying, `Our sons, and our daughters, we--are many, and we receive corn, and eat, and live.. <sup>3</sup> And there are who are saying, `Our fields, and our vineyards, and our houses, we are pledging, and we receive corn for the famine.. ⁴ And there are who are saying, `We have borrowed money for the tribute of the king, [on] our fields, and our vineyards;"

¹⁸ He must return the fruit of his labor and not swallow it down, And in the estate of his commerce, he has no enjoyment.

⁶ For you have taken pledge from your brothers gratuitously, And you have stripped the garments of the naked.

³ The orphans donkey they lead away; They take the widow's bull as a pledge.

⁹ Yet others snatch the orphan from the breast, And they take as a pledge the unweaned of the humble.

¹⁴ When the light is gone the murderer arises; He dispatches the humble and needy one; And in the night he becomes stealthy as a thief.

¹³ This is the portion of a wicked person from El And the allotment terrifiers procure from Him Who Suffices. ¹⁴ However many are his sons, for them is the sword, And his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. ¹⁵ With the death plague they shall entomb his survivors, And his widows shall not lament.

²³ (Indeed I have an awe of calamity from El, And I am not able to stand before His dignity..

³⁸ If my ground has cried out against me, And its furrows have wept together with it, ³⁹ If I have eaten of its vigor without paying silver, So that I have caused the soul of its possessor to expire,

²⁸ But they caused the cry of the poor to be brought before Him, So that He heard the cry of the humble.

⁹ Under a multitude of extortions they cry out; They implore under the arm of those with great power.

¹⁷ You hear the yearning of the humble, O Yahweh; You shall establish their heart; Your ear shall attend, ¹⁸ To redress the orphan and the crushed. A mortal of the earth shall not continue at all to terrify any more. {Permanent{

⁵ He has neither lent his money at interest Nor taken a bribe against the innocent. He who is doing these things shall not slip for the eon.

⁶ In my distress I called on Yahweh, And to my Elohim I implored. From His temple He heard my voice, And my imploring before Him, it came to His ears."

⁶ Concerning this, let every benign one pray to You in a season of finding; Surely at the overflowing of many waters They shall not attain to him."

⁹ Glorify Yahweh with your wealth And with the firstfruits of all your income; ¹⁰ Then your granaries shall be filled to satisfaction, And grape juice shall breach your wine-vats."

¹ as My healing is for Israel, then the depravity of Ephraim is revealed and the evils of Samaria. For they contrive falsehood, and the thief is coming, and the raiding party emerges into the street."

⁹ In the city are they prowling; on the wall are they running; into the houses are they ascending; through the windows are they entering, as a thief."

⁸ On pledged garments are they stretching out beside every altar, and the wine of those fined are they drinking in the house of their elohim."

¹² Thus says Yahweh, Just as the shepherd is rescuing from the mouth of the lion two shanks or a separated ear, so shall the sons of Israel be rescued, those dwelling in Samaria on the edge of a couch, and in Damascus on a divan."

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall come to be among the nations, within many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the wildwood, and as a sheltered lion among the droves of the flock, which, if it passes, then it tramps, and it tears to pieces, and there is no rescue."

¹ Alack to me! For I become as the gatherings of the straw of the harvest, as the clean-gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; my soul yearns for the firstfruit."

⁶ Before His menace, who will stand? And who will rise in the heat of His anger? His fury is poured forth as fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him."

¹² The lion is tearing to pieces sufficient for his whelps, and is strangling for his parent lionesses. He is filling his holes with prey, and his habitations with flesh torn to pieces."

¹⁰ and you must not extort from a widow or orphan or the sojourner or the humble. And you must not devise evil, each man to his brother, in your heart."

⁵ Then I will come near to you for judgment, and become a hastening witness against the enchanters and against the adulterers, and against those who are swearing in My name to falsehood, and against those extorting the hire of the hireling, and those tyrannizing over the widow and taunting the orphan, and turning aside the sojourner, and do not fear Me, says Yahweh of hosts."

⁴² To him who requests you, give; and from him who wants to borrow from you, you may not turn.

¹⁴ For if you should be forgiving men their offenses, your heavenly Father also will be forgiving you." ¹⁵ Yet if you should not be forgiving men their offenses, neither will your Father be forgiving your offenses."

¹⁹ Do not hoard for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and corrosion are causing them to disappear, and where thieves are tunneling and stealing." ²⁰ Yet hoard for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor corrosion are causing them to disappear, and where thieves are not tunneling nor stealing;"

³³ Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you."

¹⁵ Now, if ever your brother should be sinning, go and expose him between you and him alone. If ever he should be hearing you, you gain your brother."

²⁵ Now, at his not having wherewith to pay, the lord orders him to be disposed of, and his wife and children and all, whatever he has, and payment to be made."

⁴³ Now that be knowing, for if the householder were aware in what watch the thief is coming, he would watch, and would not let his house be tunneled into."

²⁷ It was binding on you, then, to be depositing my silver with the bankers, and on coming, I should recover what is mine together with interest."

³⁵ Moreover, be loving your enemies, and be doing good, and be lending, expecting nothing from them, and your wages will be vast in the heavens, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

³⁸ be giving, and it shall be given to you: a measure ideal, squeezed down and shaken together and running over, shall they be giving into your bosom. For the same measure with which you are measuring will be measured to you again."

⁴⁸ Now he who does not know, yet does what deserves blows, shall have few lashes. Now to everyone to whom much was given, from him much will be sought, and to whom they committed much, more excessively will they be requesting of him."

¹¹ If, then, you did not come to be faithful in the unjust mammon, who will be entrusting to you the true?

³ Take heed to yourselves. Yet if your brother should be sinning, rebuke him, and if he should ever indeed repent, forgive him." ⁴ And if he should ever be sinning against you seven times a day, and if he should ever be turning about seven times a day to you, saying 'I am repenting,' you shall be forgiving him."

⁷ Yet should not God by all means be doing the avenging of His chosen ones, who are imploring Him day and night? And He is patient with them."

⁸ Now standing, Zaccheus said to the Lord, "Lo! the half of my possessions, Lord, I am giving to the poor! And if from anyone I get anything by blackmail, I am giving back fourfold."

²³ And wherefore do you not give my silver to the bank, and I, coming, would utilize it together with interest?'"

³⁴ Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, that 'I say you are gods'? " ³⁵ If He said those were gods, to whom the word of God came (and the scripture can not be annulled),

⁶ Now this he said, not that he cared concerning the poor, but that he was a thief, having the coffer also, and bore what is cast into it."

⁹ Yet, before this, a certain man named Simon existed in the city by using magic and amazing the nation of Samaria, saying himself to be some great one, ¹⁰ whom they all heeded, from the small to the great, saying, "This man is the power of the god which is called Great." ¹¹ Now they heeded him because of the considerable time the magic had to amaze them.

²⁰ but to write an epistle to them to be abstaining from ceremonial pollution with idols, and prostitution, and what is strangled, and blood."

¹⁶ Now it occurred, at our going to prayer, a certain maid, having a python spirit, meets us, who afforded a vast income to her masters, divining." ¹⁷ She, following after Paul and us, cried, saying, "These men are slaves of God most high, who are announcing to you a way of salvation!" ¹⁸ Now this she did on many days. Now Paul, being exasperated and turning about, said to the spirit, "I am charging you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to be coming out from her!And it came out the same hour." ¹⁹ Now her masters, perceiving that the expectation of their income was come out, getting hold of Paul and Silas, draw them into the market to the magistrates,

¹⁹ Now a considerable number of those practicing the meddling arts, carrying together the scrolls, burned them up in sight of all. And they compute their value and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver."

³ Then Paul said to him, "God is about to beat you, whitewashed wall! And you are sitting to judge me according to the law, and illegally are you ordering me to be beaten!"

⁵ And Paul averred, "I was not aware, brethren, that he is chief priest. For it is written that, 'Of your people's chief you shall not be declaring evil.'"

⁵ Yet, in accord with your hardness and unrepentant heart you are hoarding for yourself indignation in the day of indignation and revelation of the just judgment of God, ⁶ Who will be paying each one in accord with his acts: ⁷ to those, indeed, who by endurance in good acts are seeking glory and honor and incorruption, life eonian;" ⁸ yet to those of faction and stubborn, indeed, as to the truth, yet persuaded to injustice, indignation and fury, ⁹ affliction and distress, on every human soul which is effecting evil, both of the Jew first and of the Greek,

²³ Yet not only so, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the spirit, we ourselves also, are groaning in ourselves, awaiting the sonship, the deliverance of our body."

² so that he who is resisting an authority has withstood God's mandate. Now those who have withstood, will be getting judgment for themselves, ³ for magistrates are not a fear to the good act, but to the evil. Now you do not want to be fearing the authority. Do good, and you will be having applause from it." ⁴ For it is God's servant for your good. Now if you should be doing evil, fear, for not feignedly is it wearing the sword. For it is God's servant, an avenger for indignation to him who is committing evil." ⁵ Wherefore it is necessary to be subject, not only because of indignation, but also because of conscience." ⁶ For therefore you are settling taxes also, for they are God's ministers, perpetuated for this self-same thing." ⁷ Render to all their dues, to whom tax, tax, to whom tribute, tribute, to whom fear, fear, to whom honor, honor."

¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom."

²⁰ idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousies, furies, factions, dissensions, sects,

² for you yourselves are accurately aware that the day of the Lord is as a thief in the night - thus is it coming!

¹² For which cause I am suffering these things also, but I am not ashamed, for I am aware Whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard what is committed to me, for that day."

¹ Remind them to be subject to sovereignties, to authorities; to be yielding, and to be ready for every good work, ² to be calumniating no one, to be pacific, lenient, displaying all meekness toward all humanity."

¹⁶ For men are swearing by a greater, and to them an oath for confirmation is an end of all contradiction,

³¹ Fearful is it to be falling into the hands of the living God!

¹⁸ By intention, He teems forth us by the word of truth, for us to be some firstfruit of His own creatures."

²⁷ for ritual clean and undefiled with God the Father is this: to be visiting the bereaved and widowed in their affliction, to be keeping oneself unspotted from the world."

⁴ Lo! the wage of the workers, who mow your country places, which has been withheld by you, is crying, and the imploring of the reapers has entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts."

¹⁵ but, according as He Who calls you is holy, you also become holy in all behavior, ¹⁶ because it is written that, Holy shall you be, for I am holy."

¹⁷ Honor all; love the brotherhood; fear God; honor the king.

¹⁰ yet specially those going after the flesh in defiling lust and despising lordship. Audacious, given to self-gratification, they are not trembling when calumniating glories,

⁸ Howbeit, these dreamers also, likewise are indeed defiling the flesh, yet are repudiating lordship and calumniating glories."

⁶ Pay her as she also pays, and double the doubles, in accord with her acts. In her cup in which she blends, blend double for her."

¹⁵ Outside are curs, and enchanters, and paramours, and murderers, and idolaters, and everyone fabricating and fondling falsehood."
