⁴ Now Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh. And he rose early in the morning and built an altar below the mountain and twelve stone monuments for the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹⁸ And early is Jacob rising in the morning, and taking is he the stone which he had placed there for his pillow, and is placing it for a monument, and pouring oil on its top.

²² and this stone, which I place for a monument, shall become the house of Elohim for me. And of all that You are giving to me, tithe, yea, tithe it will I for You.

⁴⁵ And taking is Jacob a stone and is raising it for a monument.

²⁴ An altar of ground soil shall you make for Me, and you will sacrifice on it your ascent offerings and your peace offerings, your flock and your herd. In every place where I shall record My name I shall come to you and will bless you. ²⁵ And if you shall make an altar of stones for Me you shall not build it with them trimmed; in case you have swung your sword against it, then you have profaned it. ²⁶ And you shall not ascent on My altar by stairs so that your nakedness be not exposed on it.

²¹ The stones shall come to be twelve with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel; as the engravings of a seal, each with its name, shall they come to be for the twelve tribes.

⁵ You will take flour and bake of it twelve perforated cakes. Two tenths of an ephah shall there be for one perforated cake.

² Speak to the sons of Israel and take from them a rod, a rod for the father's house from all their princes by their fathers' house, twelve rods. For each man you shall write his name on his rod.

⁹ Then Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, the carriers of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh, and to all the elders of Israel.

² `Take for you out of the people twelve men, one man--one man out of a tribe;" ³ and command you them, saying, Take up for you from this [place], from the midst of the Jordan, from the established standing-place of the feet of the priests, twelve stones, and you have removed them over with you, and placed them in the lodging-place in which you lodge to-night..

⁸ And the sons of Israel do so as Joshua commanded, and take up twelve stones out of the midst of the Jordan, as Yahweh has spoken unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Israel, and remove them over with them unto the lodging-place, and place them there, ⁹ even the twelve stones has Joshua raised up out of the midst of the Jordan, the place of the standing of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant, and they are there unto this day.

²⁰ and these twelve stones, which they have taken out of the Jordan, has Joshua raised up in Gilgal.

²⁶ And Joshua writes these words in the Book of the Law of Elohim, and takes a great stone, and raises it up there under the oak which [is] in the sanctuary of Yahweh. ²⁷ And Joshua said unto all the people, `Lo, this stone is against us for a witness, for it has heard all the sayings of Yahweh which He has spoken with us, and it has been against you for a witness, lest you lie against your Elohim..

³⁰ and Ahijah lays hold on the new garment that [is] on him, and rends it--twelve pieces,

¹⁷ And they offered for the dedication of this House of Eloah a hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and as a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats of the goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

³⁰ that you may be eating and drinking at My table in My kingdom. And you will be seated on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

⁹ and, knowing the grace which is being given to me, James and Cephas and John, who are supposed to be pillars, give to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we, indeed, are to be for the nations, yet they for the Circumcision-"

¹⁴ And the wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lambkin."
