¹ In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to conclude the word of Yahweh from the mouth of Jeremiah, Yahweh roused the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia so that he caused a notification to pass through all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying, ² Thus speaks Cyrus king of Persia:Yahweh Elohim of the heavens has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He Himself has committed to me to build for Him a House in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. ³ Anyone among you of all His people, may his Elohim be with him. Let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and let him rebuild the House of Yahweh Elohim of Israel. He is the One, Elohim, Who is in Jerusalem. ⁴ As for anyone that is remaining from all the places where he is sojourning, let the men of his place assist him with silver and with gold, with goods and beasts, along with the voluntary offering for the House of the One, Elohim, Who is in Jerusalem. ⁵ The patriarchal heads of Judah and Benjamin arose, also the priests and the Levites, with everyone whose spirit the One, Elohim, had roused to go up to rebuild the House of Yahweh Who is in Jerusalem. ⁶ As for all those around them, they encouraged their hands with articles of silver, with gold, with goods and beasts and token presents besides all that was voluntarily given. ⁷ As for king Cyrus, he brought forth the articles of the House of Yahweh which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth from Jerusalem and had put them in the house of his idol. ⁸ Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth by the hand of the treasurer Mithredath who counted them off to Sheshbazzar prince of Judah. ⁹ Now these were the numbers of them:thirty vessels of gold, a thousand vessels of silver, twenty-nine alternatives, ¹⁰ thirty small bowls of gold, two thousand four hundred ten small bowls of silver, a thousand other articles. ¹¹ All the articles of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up while bringing up the sons of deportation from Babylon to Jerusalem.

This was the approach present of Ahira son of Enan. ⁸⁴ This was the dedication offering of the altar on the day it was anointed by the princes of Israel:twelve silver dishes, twelve silver sprinkling bowls, twelve gold spoons;" ⁸⁵ a single silver dish weighed a hundred thirty shekels, a single sprinkling bowl weighed seventy shekels. All the silver of the vessels was two thousand four hundred shekels by the shekel of the holy place. ⁸⁶ The twelve gold spoons, full of incense, weighed ten shekels each, ten a spoon, by the shekel of the holy place. All the gold of the spoons was a hundred twenty shekels. ⁸⁷ All the oxen for the ascent offering were twelve young bulls, twelve rams, twelve year-old he-lambs with their approach present, and twelve hairy ones of the goats for a sin offering. ⁸⁸ And all the oxen of the sacrifice of peace offerings were twenty-four young bulls, sixty rams, sixty he-goats, sixty year-old he-lambs. This was the dedication offering of the altar after it was anointed. ⁸⁹ Whenever Moses came into the tent of appointment to speak with Him then he would hear the voice of Yahweh speaking to him above the propitiatory shelter which was on the coffer of the testimony; it was from between the two cherubim that He spoke to him.

³¹ For their rock is not like our Rock; even our enemies are umpires.

⁹ `Have not I commanded you? be strong and courageous; be not terrified nor affrighted, for with you [is] Yahweh your Elohim in every [place] whither you go..

⁵⁰ and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

²⁷ But, is it true? --Elohim dwells on the earth! lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens do not contain You, how much less this house which I have builded!"

¹³ and brings out thence all the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the house of the king, and cuts in pieces all the vessels of gold that Solomon king of Israel made in the temple of Yahweh, as Yahweh had spoken.

¹³ And the pillars of brass that [are] in the house of Yahweh, and the bases, and the sea of brass, that [is] in the house of Yahweh, have the Chaldeans broken in pieces, and bear away their brass to Babylon. ¹⁴ And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they minister they have taken, ¹⁵ and the fire-pans, and the bowls that [are] wholly of silver, has the chief of the executioners taken. ¹⁶ The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases that Solomon made for the house of Yahweh, there was no weighing of the brass of all these vessels;"

²⁰ And David said to Solomon his son, `Be strong, and courageous, and do; do not fear nor be affrighted, for Yahweh Elohim, my Elohim, [is] with you; He does not fail you, nor forsake you, unto the completion of all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh.

³ `And again, because of my delighting in the house of my Elohim, the substance I have--a peculiar treasure of gold and silver--I have given for the house of my Elohim, even over and above all I have prepared for the house of the sanctuary.

⁹ And the people rejoice because of their offering willingly, for with a perfect heart they have offered willingly to Yahweh; and also David the king has rejoiced--great joy.

¹⁷ `And I have known, my Elohim, that You are trying the heart, and uprightness do desire; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these:and now, Your people who are found here I have seen with joy to offer willingly to You.

¹² And Huram said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, knowing wisdom and understanding, who does build a house for Yahweh, and a house for his kingdom.

⁸ And he makes ten tables, and places in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he makes bowls of gold a hundred.

²¹ and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold--it [is] the perfection of gold;" ²² and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

¹⁴ And at their completing [it], they have brought in before the king and Jehoiada the rest of the money, and they make it vessels for the house of Yahweh, vessels of serving, and of offering up, and spoons, even vessels of gold and silver; and they are causing burnt-offerings to ascend in the house of Yahweh continually, all the days of Jehoiada.

⁷ And of the vessels of the house of Yahweh has Nebuchadnezzar brought in to Babylon, and puts them in his temple in Babylon.

¹⁰ and at the turn of the year has king Nebuchadnezzar sent and brings him in to Babylon, with the desirable vessels of the house of Yahweh, and causes Zedekiah his brother to reign over Judah and Jerusalem.

¹⁸ And all the vessels of the house of Elohim, the great and the small, and the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the king and of his princes--the whole he has brought in to Babylon.

⁶⁸ As for some of the patriarchal heads, when they came to the site of the House of Yahweh Who is in Jerusalem, they gave voluntarily for the House of the One, Elohim, to make it stand on its site. ⁶⁹ According to their fortune they gave to the treasury of the work:gold--61,000 darics, silver--5,000 minas, and tunics for priests--100. ⁷⁰ The priests, the Levites and some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers and the Nethinim were dwelling in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.

¹³ But in year one of king Cyrus of Babylon, king Cyrus promulgated a decree to rebuild this House of Eloah. ¹⁴ And also the vessels of gold and silver of the House of Eloah that Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem and had transferred them to the temple in Babylon--king Cyrus removed them from the temple in Babylon, and they were granted to Sheshbazzar; this was the name of him whom he had appointed viceroy.

¹⁴ And also the vessels of gold and silver of the House of Eloah that Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem and had transferred them to the temple in Babylon--king Cyrus removed them from the temple in Babylon, and they were granted to Sheshbazzar; this was the name of him whom he had appointed viceroy. ¹⁵ And he said to him:Carry these vessels with you; depart and put them down in the temple in Jerusalem, and let the House of Eloah be rebuilt on its site. ¹⁶ Then this Sheshbazzar arrived and laid the foundations of the House of Eloah in Jerusalem. From then on until now it is being rebuilt; but it is not yet accomplished.

⁵ Also, the gold and silver vessels of the House of Eloah should be returned that Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem and had transferred to Babylon. Let each go back to the temple in Jerusalem to its place; you shall put it down in the House of Eloah.

²² They held the celebration of unleavened cakes seven days with rejoicing; for Yahweh made them rejoice, since He had turned the heart of the king of Assyria around toward them to fortify their hands in the work of the House of Elohim, the Elohim of Israel.

¹⁵ and to transfer the silver and gold that the king and his counselors have voluntarily given to the Eloah of Israel Whose tabernacle is in Jerusalem, ¹⁶ together with all the silver and gold that you may obtain in the whole province of Babylon along with the voluntary offering that the people and the priests are willingly giving to the House of their Eloah in Jerusalem.

²⁷ Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of our fathers, Who has put such as this into the heart of the king to beautify the House of Yahweh in Jerusalem.

²⁵ To them I weighed out the silver, the gold and the vessels--the heave offering for the House of our Elohim--that the king and his counselors and his chiefs and all of Israel who were available had donated. ²⁶ Thus I weighed out into their hand six hundred fifty talents of silver, a hundred silver vessels valued at ... {Either Hb numeral dropped out or "talentsshould be read as a dual.} talents, a hundred talents of gold, ²⁷ twenty small bowls of gold valued at a thousand darics, and two vessels of good glistening copper, desirable as gold.

¹² and I rise by night, I and a few men with me, and have not declared to a man what my Elohim is giving unto my heart to do for Jerusalem, and there is no beast with me except the beast on which I am riding.

⁴⁶ He gave them over to compassions Before all those holding them captive.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your potent power; In holy effulgence from the womb of the dawn, You will have the dew of Your childhood."

¹ To humanity belong the arrangements of the heart, Yet from Yahweh comes the answer of the tongue."

²⁶ setting up the word of His servant, and performing the counsel of His messengers. Saying to Jerusalem, `You shall be indwelt,' and to the cities of Judah, `You shall be built,' and `Its deserted places I will raise up.'"

¹⁰ And Yahweh [is] an Elohim of truth, He [is] a living Elohim, and a king eonian, From His wrath shake does the earth, And nations endure not His indignation." ¹¹ Thus do you say to them, The elohims Who the heavens and earth have not made, They do perish from the earth, And from under these heavens."

¹² `And it has come to pass, at the fulness of seventy years, I charge against the king of Babylon, and against that nation--an affirmation of Yahweh--their iniquity, and against the land of the Chaldeans, and have appointed it for desolations eonian." ¹³ And I have brought in on that land all My words that I have spoken against it, all that is written in this book, that Jeremiah has prophesied concerning all the nations." ¹⁴ For laid service on them--also them--have many nations and great kings, and I have given recompence to them according to their doing, and according to the work of their hands."

⁶ `And now, I--I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and also the beast of the field I have given to him to serve him;" ⁷ And served him have all the nations, and his son, and his son's son, till the coming in of the time of his land, also it; and done service for him have many nations and great kings."

²¹ Surely thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left of the house of Yahweh, and of the house of the king of Judah, and [in] Jerusalem:" ²² To Babylon they are brought, and there they are till the day of My inspecting them--an affirmation of Yahweh; then I have brought them up, and have brought them back unto this place.'"

³ Within two years of days I am bringing back unto this place all the vessels of the house of Yahweh that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken from this place, and does carry to Babylon, ⁴ And Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the removed of Judah, who are entering Babylon, I am bringing back unto this place--an affirmation of Yahweh; for I do break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'" ⁵ And Jeremiah the prophet said unto Hananiah the prophet, before the eyes of the priests, and before the eyes of all the people who are standing in the house of Yahweh, ⁶ Yea, Jeremiah the prophet said, `Amen! so may Yahweh do; Yahweh establish your words that you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the house of Yahweh and all the removal from Babylon, unto this place."

¹⁰ `For thus said Yahweh, Surely at the fulness of Babylon--seventy years--I inspect you, and have established towards you My good word, to bring you back unto this place."

⁷ And I have turned back the captivity of Judah, And the captivity of Israel, And I have built them as at the first, ⁸ And cleansed them from all their iniquity, That they have sinned against Me, And I have pardoned all their iniquities, That they have sinned against Me, And that they transgressed against Me." ⁹ And it has been to Me for a name of joy, For praise, and for beauty, to all nations of the earth, Who hear of all the good that I am doing them, And they have feared, And they have trembled for all the good, And for all the peace, that I am doing to it." ¹⁰ Thus said Yahweh:Again heard in this place of which you are saying, Waste it [is], without man and without beast, In cities of Judah, and in streets of Jerusalem, That are desolated, without man, And without inhabitant, and without beast, ¹¹ Is a voice of joy and a voice of gladness, Voice of bridegroom, and voice of bride, The voice of those saying, Thank Yahweh of Hosts, for Yahweh [is] good, For His kindness [is] to the eon, Who are bringing in thanksgiving to the house of Yahweh, For I turn back the captivity of the land, As at the first, said Yahweh." ¹² Thus said Yahweh of Hosts:Again there is in this place--that is waste, Without man and beast, And in all its cities--a habitation of shepherds, Causing the flock to lie down." ¹³ In the cities of the hill-country, In the cities of the low country, And in the cities of the south, And in the land of Benjamin, And in the suburbs of Jerusalem, And in the cities of Judah, Again does the flock pass by under the hands of the numberer, said Yahweh."

² Yet Yahweh is giving into his hand Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and at the end, the furnishings of the house of Elohim. Then he is bringing them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his Elohim, and the furnishings he brings to the treasure-house of his Elohim."

¹ In the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom, Nebuchadnezzar dreams dreams; agitated is his spirit and his sleep is fleeing from him."

²¹ He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding."

²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:"

³⁷ You, O king, are king of kings, seeing that the Eloah of the heavens grants a safeguarded kingdom to you, and might and honor and esteem." ³⁸ In every place where the sons of mortals are abiding, the animal of the field, the flyer of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, He grants into your hand. He gives you authority over them all. You are the head that is gold."

⁴⁷ Answering is the king to Daniel and saying, "In verity, your Eloah, He is the Eloah of elohim, Lord of kings, and only Revealer of hidden secrets, seeing that you can reveal this secret."

²⁵ for they shall shove you from mortals, and with the animals of the field is to be your abode, and herbage will they feed to you, as oxen, and with the night mist of the heavens will you be streaked; thus seven seasons shall pass on over you till you shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals, and that to whom He is willing He is giving it."

²³ Over the Lord, the Eloah of the heavens, you exalt yourself; the vessels of His house they bring hither before you; you and your grandees, your consorts and your concubines are drinking turbid wine from them. Also elohim of silver, gold, copper, iron, wood, and stone who are not perceiving and not hearing and not knowing, these you laud, yet the Eloah in Whose hand is your breath, and for Whom are all your paths, Him you do not honor."

²⁶ From before me is promulgated this decree:In every authority of my kingdom be they stirred and terrified before Daniel's Eloah:He is the living Eloah and is set up for the eons. His kingdom shall not come to harm and His jurisdiction is till the terminus.

¹ In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on day one of the month, the word of Yahweh comes by the hand of Haggai, the prophet, to Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, viceroy of Judah, and to Joshua, son of Josedech, the great priest, saying,

¹⁴ And Yahweh is rousing the spirit of Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, viceroy of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, son of Josedech, the great priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people, and they are coming and doing work on the house of Yahweh of hosts, their Elohim,

² Say, I pray, to Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, viceroy of Judah, and to Joshua, son of Josedech, the great priest, and to all the remnant of the people, saying:" ³ Do any remain among you who saw this house in its former glory? And what are you seeing it to be now? Is it not likewise as nothing in your eyes? ⁴ Yet now be steadfast, Zerubbabel, (averring is Yahweh), and be steadfast, Joshua, son of Josedech, the great priest, and be steadfast, all you people of the land, (averring is Yahweh), and do it, for I am with you, (averring is Yahweh of hosts)--"

⁶ And I am saying, No, my lord. And he is answering and speaking to me, saying, This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying:Not by valor, nor by vigor, but rather by My spirit, says Yahweh of hosts." ⁷ What are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are to be a level plain. And he shall bring forth the headstone with tumults:Grace, grace to it!" ⁸ And the word of Yahweh is coming to me, saying:" ⁹ The hands of Zerubbabel laid the foundation of this house, and his hands shall complete it. Then shall you know that Yahweh of hosts sent me to you." ¹⁰ For who despises the day of small things? And they shall rejoice and see the stone plumb in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Yahweh; they are going to and fro in the entire land.

¹¹ now Josiah begets Jeconiah and his brothers at the Babylonian exile. ¹² Now after the Babylonian exile Jeconiah begets Shalthiel; now Shalthiel begets Zerubbabel;

¹ Now in those days, coming along is John the baptist, heralding in the wilderness of Judea, ² saying: "Repent! for near is the kingdom of the heavens!" ³ For this is he of whom it is declared through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
"The voice of one imploring:
'In the wilderness make ready the road of the Lord!
Straight...be making the highways'of Him!

²⁹ Are not two sparrows selling for a penny? And not one of them will be falling on the earth without your Father. ³⁰ Now of your head even the hairs are all numbered. ³¹ Then do not fear! Of more consequence than many sparrows are you.

⁸ Now she, being egged on by her mother, is averring, "Give me here, on a platter, the head of John the baptist."

²⁰ teaching them to be keeping all, whatever I direct you. And lo! I am with you all the days till the conclusion of the eon! Amen!"

²³ He averred, "I am 'the voice of one imploring, "In the wilderness straighten the road of the Lord!"' according as said Isaiah the prophet."

³⁶ Of the word He dispatches to the sons of Israel, bringing the evangel of peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all),

¹⁷ Now after the lapse of more years, I came along doing alms for my nation, and bringing approach presents,

²³ it is that He should also be making known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He makes ready before for glory -"

¹⁶ Now thanks be to God, Who is imparting the same diligence for you to the heart of Titus,

⁷ each according as he has proposed in his heart, not sorrowfully, nor of compulsion, for the gleeful giver is loved by God."

² Bear one another's burdens, and thus fill up the law of Christ."

¹³ for it is God Who is operating in you to will as well as to work for the sake of His delight.

¹⁹ Howbeit, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: The Lord knew those who are His, and, Let everyone who is naming the name of the Lord withdraw from injustice. " ²⁰ Now in a great house there are not only gold and silver utensils, but wooden and earthenware also, and some indeed for honor, yet some for dishonor." ²¹ If, then, anyone should ever be purging himself from these, he will be a utensil for honor, hallowed, and useful to the Owner, made ready for every good act."

¹⁶ Be not deceived, my beloved brethren!" ¹⁷ All good giving and every perfect gratuity is from above, descending from the Father of lights, in Whom there is no mutation or shadow from revolving motion."

⁶ who testify to your love in the sight of the ecclesia, to whom you will be doing ideally by sending them forward worthily of God, ⁷ for they come out for the sake of the Name, getting nothing from those of the nations." ⁸ We then, ought to be taking up such, that we may become fellow workers in the truth. "

¹¹ Beloved, do not be imitating the evil, but the good. He who is doing good is of God. He who is doing evil has not seen God."
