¹ O that You wouldst tear the heavens and descend! The mountains would quiver because of Your presence! ² They would flow, as ice in the fire melts, as water consumed by the fire. Make known Your name, Yahweh, to Your foes. Because of Your presence the nations will be disturbed." ³ When You do fearful things which we are not expecting, You do descend! Quivering because of Your presence, the mountains flow." ⁴ And from the eon they have not heard, nor given ear, and the eye has not seen any elohim, except You. He is doing for him who will tarry for Him." ⁵ You come upon the elated and the doer of righteousness. In Your ways are they remembering You. Behold! You are wroth when we are sinning. Against You from the eon also are we transgressing. ⁶ And we are becoming as unclean, all of us, and as an ornamented garment is all our righteousness. And we are decaying as a leaf, all of us, and our depravities, as the wind, are carrying us away." ⁷ And no one is calling on Your name, rousing himself to hold fast to You, for You conceal Your face from us, and You are dissolving us by means of our depravities." ⁸ And now, Yahweh, You are our Father. And we are the clay. You are our Former, and the doing of Your hand are we all." ⁹ You must not be wroth with us, Yahweh, unto excess, and You must not, for the future, be remembering our depravity. Behold! Look, pray! Your people are we all." ¹⁰ The cities of Your holy place come to be a wilderness. Zion becomes as a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation." ¹¹ The house, our holy place, and our beauty, where our forefathers praised You, came to be burned with fire, and all that we covet came to be demolished." ¹² On account of all this wilt You check Yourself, Yahweh? Are You hushing and humiliating us unto excess?

⁸ Hence I have descended to rescue them from the hand of Egypt and to bring them up from that land to a land good and wide, to a land gushing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

¹¹ and come to be prepared for the third day; for on the third day Yahweh shall descend on Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people.

¹⁸ As for Mount Sinai, all of it smoked in view of the fact that Yahweh descended on it in fire; its smoke ascended as the smoke of a limekiln, and the entire mountain trembled exceedingly. ¹⁹ While the sound of the trumpet came to be going, becoming exceedingly steadfast, Moses was speaking, and the One, Elohim was answering with a loud voice.

⁴ Yahweh, in Your going forth out of Seir, In Your stepping out of the field of Edom, Earth trembled, also the heavens dropped, Also thick clouds dropped water. ⁵ Hills flowed from the face of Yahweh, This one--Sinai--From the face of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel.

⁷ Then the earth reeled and quaked, And the foundations of the mountains, they were disturbed, And they reeled, for His anger grew hot." ⁸ Smoke ascended from His nostrils, And fire that devours from His mouth; Flashing embers blazed forth from Him." ⁹ He stretched out the heavens and descended, And murkiness was beneath His feet." ¹⁰ He rode on a cherub and flew; So He swooped down on the wings of the wind. ¹¹ He set darkness as His concealment round about Him; His booth was the darkness of waters, the thick clouds of the skies." ¹² Out of the brightness in front of Him His thick clouds passed With hail and flashing embers of fire. ¹³ Then Yahweh thundered from the heavens, And the Supreme, He gave forth His voice With hail and flashing embers of fire." ¹⁴ He sent off His arrows, with which He scattered them, And He multiplied bolts of lightning, with which He discomfited them." ¹⁵ So the channels of water were made to appear, And the foundations of the habitance were revealed, By Your rebuke, O Yahweh, By the breath of the wind of Your nostrils."

⁶ The nations clamor; the kingdoms slip; He will give forth His voice; the earth shall dissolve.

⁸ The earth quaked. Indeed, the heavens dropped at the presence of Elohim, As Sinai was in commotion at the presence of Elohim, the Elohim of Israel."

⁴ The mountains, they danced like rams, The hills like the young of the flock." ⁵ What is it with you, O sea, that you are fleeing, Jordan, that you are turning around backward, ⁶ Mountains, that you are dancing like rams. Hills, like the young of the flock? ⁷ At the presence of the Lord, travail, O earth, At the presence of the Elohim of Jacob,

⁵ O Yahweh, stretch out Your heavens that You may descend; Touch the mountains that they may smoke." ⁶ Make lightning flash that You may scatter them; Send Your arrows that You may discomfit them.

¹⁵ Look from the heavens, and see from the residence of Your holiness and Your beauty. Where is Your zeal and Your mastery? Where is the clamor of Your bowels? And Your compassions toward us, do they check themselves?

⁵ And the Lord, Yahweh Elohim of hosts, is He Who is touching the land and it is dissolving. And all dwelling in it mourn. And it ascends as a waterway, all of it, and it drowns as the waterway of Egypt."

¹³ Behold! the days are coming, (averring is Yahweh), when the plowman will draw close to the reaper, and the treader of grapes to the one drawing forth the seed from the sack. And the mountains shall drop with juice, and all the hills shall dissolve."

³ For behold! Yahweh will fare forth from His place, and He will descend and tread on the fane heights of the land." ⁴ And the mountains will be melted under Him, and the vales will rend as wax from the presence of fire, as water being spilled on a descent." ⁵ The mountains quake because of Him, and the hills dissolve. The earth is upheaving because of His presence, and the habitance and all dwelling in it." ⁶ Before His menace, who will stand? And who will rise in the heat of His anger? His fury is poured forth as fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him."

¹ A prayer of Habakkuk, the prophet, concerning overtakings." ² WITH A SONG Yahweh, I hear Your report, I fear, Yahweh, Your contrivance; within the years make it live; within the years are You informing. In the disturbance You are remembering compassion." ³ Eloah is coming from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. INTERLUDE His splendor covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth." ⁴ And its brightness is becoming as the light. From His hand He has gleams, and there is the hiding of His strength." ⁵ Before Him the plague is going, and a sirocco is faring forth at His feet." ⁶ He stands and is measuring the earth; he sees and is letting loose the nations. And the mountain ranges of futurity are scattering; the eonian hills bow down; his goings are eonian. ⁷ I saw the tents of Cushan under lawlessness; the sheets of the land of Midian are disturbed. ⁸ Was Yahweh hot against the streams? Or was Your anger against the streams? Or was Your rage against the sea? For You wast riding on Your horses, Your chariots of salvation." ⁹ Your bow was verily naked; sworn are the rods by Your saying. INTERLUDE You are rending the earth with streams; ¹⁰ seeing You, the mountains are travailing, the storm of waters passes, the submerged chaos gives forth its voice; it lifts it hands on high." ¹¹ The sun and moon stand in their residence; at the light Your arrows are going-- at the brightness of the flashing of Your spear. ¹² With menace are You marching through the earth; in anger are You threshing the nations. ¹³ You fare forth for the salvation of Your people, for the salvation of Your anointed ones. You do transfix the head of the house of the wicked, razing the foundation unto the neck. INTERLUDE"

¹⁰ And straightway, stepping up out of the water, He perceived the heavens rent, and the spirit, as a dove, descending and remaining on Him."

¹⁰ Now the day of the Lord will be arriving as a thief, in which the heavens shall be passing by with a booming noise, yet the elements shall be dissolved by combustion, and the earth and the works in it shall be found." ¹¹ At these all, then, dissolving, to what manner of men must you belong in holy behavior and devoutness, ¹² hoping for and hurrying the presence of God's day, because of which the heavens, being on fire, will be dissolved, and the elements decompose by combustion!"

¹¹ And I perceived a great white throne, and Him Who is sitting upon it, from Whose face earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them."

⁴ Thus I will make the heart of Pharaoh steadfast, so he will pursue after them. Then I will be glorified in Pharaoh and in all his army; and the Egyptians will know that I am Yahweh. Hence they did so.

¹⁴ The peoples have heard; they are disturbed. Travail, it has taken hold of the dwellers of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the sheiks of Edom are flustered; the arbiters of Moab, quivering took hold of them. All the dwellers of Canaan are dissolved. ¹⁶ Dread and awe are falling on them; by the greatness of Your arm they are still as a stone, until Your people are passing by, Yahweh, until this people whom You have acquired are passing by.

²⁵ This day I shall start to put the awe of you and the fear of you on the face of all peoples beneath the entire heavens; whenever they should hear a report of you, they will be disturbed and in travail before your face.

⁴⁶ This day does Yahweh shut you up into my hand--and I have smitten you, and turned aside your head from off you, and given the carcase of the camp of the Philistines this day to the fowl of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth, and all the earth do know that Elohim is for Israel. ⁴⁷ and all this assembly do know that not by sword and by spear does Yahweh save, that the battle [is] Yahweh's, and He has given you into our hand..

⁴¹ `And also, unto the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a land afar off for Your name's sake-. ⁴² (for they hear of Your great name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your stretched-out arm) --and he has come in and prayed towards this house, ⁴³ You do hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have done according to all that the stranger calls unto You for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have builded.

²⁰ Do set fear before them, O Yahweh; Let the nations know they are mortal. {Interlude{ "

¹⁰ Relax and know that I am Elohim; I shall be exalted among the nations; I shall be exalted in the earth.

⁴ For behold, the kings, they congregated; They crossed over together." ⁵ They themselves saw, so they were amazed; They were filled with panic; they hurried away." ⁶ Quivering had taken hold of them there, Travail like one giving birth,

¹ {A Davidic Psalm, A Song{ May Elohim be gracious to us and bless us; May He light up His face toward us. {Interlude{ " ² In knowing Your way in the earth, Your salvation among all nations,

¹⁰ Why should the nations say, Where is their Elohim? Let it be made known among the nations before our eyes:Vengeance for the shed blood of Your servants."

¹³ O my Elohim, set them aside like tumbleweed, Like straw before the wind."

¹ {A Psalm{ Sing to Yahweh a new song, For He has done marvelous works; His right hand and His holy arm have brought His salvation." ² Yahweh has made known His salvation; To the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness.

¹ Yahweh reigns; let the peoples be disturbed; He is dwelling between the cherubim; let the earth slide.

¹⁵ The nations shall fear the Name of Yahweh, And all the kings of the earth Your glory." ¹⁶ For Yahweh will build up Zion; He will appear in His glory.

⁸ Yet He saved them on account of His Name, To make known His masterful deeds."

²⁰ And now, Yahweh, our Elohim, pray, save us, from his hand, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall know that You, Yahweh, are Elohim, You alone."

¹² conducting them by the right hand of Moses, His glorious arm rending the water before them, to make for Himself a name eonian,

²² Me do you not fear, an affirmation of Yahweh? From My presence are you not pained? Who has made sand the border of the sea, A limit eonian, and it passes not over it, They shake themselves, and they are not able, Yea, sounded have its billows, and they pass not over."

⁹ And it has been to Me for a name of joy, For praise, and for beauty, to all nations of the earth, Who hear of all the good that I am doing them, And they have feared, And they have trembled for all the good, And for all the peace, that I am doing to it."

²² And I have been judged with him, With pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, Fire and brimstone I rain on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him." ²³ And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh!"

²⁷ In My bringing them back from the peoples, I have assembled them from the lands of their enemies, And I have been sanctified in them before the eyes of the many nations, ²⁸ And they have known that I [am] Yahweh their Elohim, In My removing them unto the nations, And I have gathered them unto their land, And I leave none of them any more there."

¹ Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all peoples, leagues and language-groups that are abiding in the entire earth:Your welfare be growing great!" ² The signs and the amazing deeds that the Supreme Eloah does with me, it is seemly before me to disclose to you:" ³ His signs how immense, and His amazing deeds how mighty! His kingdom is an eonian kingdom, and His jurisdiction is with generation after generation."

³² From mortals are they shoving you, and with the animals of the field is your abode. Herbage will they feed to you, as oxen. Thus seven seasons shall pass on over you till you shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals and to whom He is willing He is giving it." ³³ In the same hour the declaration gathered on Nebuchadnezzar:From mortals is he shoved, herbage is he eating, as oxen, and the night mist of the heavens is streaking his frame, till his hair increased as vultures' feathers and his claws are as those of birds." ³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to the heavens, and my knowledge is returning to me. Then I blessed the Supreme, and I lauded and honored Him Who is living for the eon, seeing that His jurisdiction is an eonian jurisdiction, and His kingdom is with generation after generation." ³⁵ All abiding on the earth are reckoned as naught:According to His will is He doing in the army of the heavens and with those abiding on the earth. And no one will actually clap with his hands and say to Him, "What doest Thou? ³⁶ In the stated time my knowledge is returning to me:For the esteem of my kingdom, my honor and my aspect is returning to me. And to me my retinue and my grandees are petitioning, and over my kingdom I am set in due order, and excellent majesty was added to me." ³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, am lauding and exalting and honoring the King of the heavens, seeing that all His deeds are verity, and His paths are adjudication; and all walking in pride He can abase."

²⁵ Then Darius the king writes to all peoples, leagues, and language-groups that are abiding in all the earth, "Your welfare be growing great!" ²⁶ From before me is promulgated this decree:In every authority of my kingdom be they stirred and terrified before Daniel's Eloah:He is the living Eloah and is set up for the eons. His kingdom shall not come to harm and His jurisdiction is till the terminus. ²⁷ He is delivering and rescuing. He is doing signs and amazing things in the heavens and on the earth--He Who delivers Daniel from the paws of the lions."

¹⁶ And Yahweh shall roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem shall He give forth His voice, and the heavens and the earth shall quake. Yet Yahweh is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the sons of Israel." ¹⁷ And you shall know that I am Yahweh, your Elohim, tabernacling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall come to be a holy city, and aliens shall pass in her no longer."

¹⁵ As the days of your faring forth from the land of Egypt, will I show marvels to them." ¹⁶ The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their mastery. They will place a hand on the mouth. Their ears will be deaf. ¹⁷ They will lick up soil as a serpent. As skulkers of the earth shall they be disturbed from their borders. Of Yahweh, our Elohim, shall they be afraid, and they shall fear because of You."

¹¹ And after the three days and a half the spirit of life out of God entered into them, and they stand on their feet. And great fear falls on those beholding them." ¹² And they hear a loud voice out of heaven saying to them, "Ascend here!And they ascended into heaven in a cloud, and their enemies behold them." ¹³ And in that hour occurred a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city falls, and there were seven thousand names of the men killed in the earthquake. And the rest became affrighted and give glory to the God of heaven."

¹⁰ Then He said: Behold, I am contracting a covenant; in front of all your people shall I do marvels which have not been created on the entire earth, or among any of the nations. So all the people among whom you are will see the handiwork of Yahweh, for fear inspiring is that which I am doing with you.

³⁴ Or has an elohim ever tried to come and take for himself a nation from among another nation by trials, by signs and by miracles, by war, by a steadfast hand and by an outstretched arm and by great fear-inspiring deeds, such as all that Yahweh your Elohim did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

²¹ He is your praise, and He is your Elohim Who did for you these great and fear-inspiring deeds that your eyes saw.

²³ `And who [is] as Your people, as Israel--one nation in the earth, whom Elohim has gone to redeem to Him for a people, and to make for Him a name--and to do for you the greatness--even fearful things for Your land, at the presence of Your people, whom You have redeemed to You out of Egypt--[among the] nations and their elohims?

⁵ By fear inspiring deeds, shall You answer us in righteousness, O Elohim of our salvation, The Trust of all the ends of the earth and the sea afar, ⁶ Establishing the mountains by His vigor, Being belted with mastery,

³ Say to Elohim, How fear inspiring are Your doings! Because of the vastness of Your strength Your enemies shall cower before You."

⁵ Come and see the deeds of Elohim; Fear inspiring is His activity on behalf of the sons of humanity.

¹² He shall restrict the spirit of governors, He Who is fear inspiring to the kings of the earth. {Permanent{ {On Acclamation{ "

²⁷ He placed the words of His signs before them, And His miracles before the country of Ham." ²⁸ He sent darkness, and it became very dark, And they could not defy His words." ²⁹ He turned their waters to blood, And He put their fish to death." ³⁰ Their country swarmed with frogs, Into the chambers of their kings." ³¹ He spoke, and there came a mixture of flies, Lice in all their territory." ³² He turned their downpours to hail, With fiery bolts blazing in their country." ³³ He smote their vines and their fig trees, And He broke down the trees of their territory." ³⁴ He spoke, and the locust came, And the young-locust and they were without number." ³⁵ It devoured all the herbage in their country And devoured the fruit of their ground. ³⁶ Then He smote all the firstborn in their country, The beginning of all their virility."

²² Marvelous works in the country of Ham, Fear inspiring deeds by the Sea of Weeds."

¹⁸ For Your salvation I expect, Yahweh!"

¹⁹ How great is Your goodness Which You have stored up for those fearing You, And have effected for those seeking refuge in You In front of the sons of humanity."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Only in Elohim is my soul stilled; From Him comes my salvation.

⁵ I am expectant for Yahweh; my soul is expectant, And I wait for His word."

⁹ And they will say in that day, "Behold! This is Yahweh, our Elohim. We expected Him, and He will save us! This is Yahweh! We expected Him, and we will exult! And we will rejoice in His salvation,

¹⁸ Wherefore Yahweh is tarrying, to be gracious to you; wherefore He is exalting Himself to show compassion to you. For an Elohim of judgment is Yahweh, and where are you leaving your glory? Happy are all tarrying for him!"

²⁵ Yahweh is good to those who are expectant, to the soul that seeks after Him;" ²⁶ It is good that one should wait in stillness for the salvation of Yahweh;

³⁴ Then shall the King be declaring to those at His right, 'Hither, blessed of My Father! Enjoy the allotment of the kingdom made ready for you from the disruption of the world."

²⁵ And lo! there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name is Simeon. And this man is just and pious, anticipating the consolation of Israel, and holy spirit was on him."

³ And if I should be going and making ready a place for you, I am coming again and I will be taking you along to Myself, that where I am, you also may be."

¹⁹ For the premonition of the creation is awaiting the unveiling of the sons of God.

²³ Yet not only so, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the spirit, we ourselves also, are groaning in ourselves, awaiting the sonship, the deliverance of our body." ²⁴ For to expectation were we saved. Now expectation, being observed, is not expectation, for what anyone is observing, why is he expecting it also? ²⁵ Now, if we are expecting what we are not observing, we are awaiting it with endurance."

⁷ so that you are not deficient in any grace, awaiting the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁹ But, according as it is written, That which the eye did not perceive, and the ear did not hear, and to which the heart of man did not ascend - whatever God makes ready for those who are loving Him." ¹⁰ Yet to us God reveals them through His spirit, for the spirit is searching all, even the depths of God."

⁵ which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit" ⁶ the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel" ⁷ of which I became the dispenser, in accord with the gratuity of the grace of God, which is granted to me in accord with His powerful operation." ⁸ To me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations, ⁹ and to enlighten all as to what is the administration of the secret, which has been concealed from the eons in God, Who creates all, ¹⁰ that now may be made known to the sovereignties and the authorities among the celestials, through the ecclesia, the multifarious wisdom of God,

¹⁷ Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, having been rooted and grounded in love, ¹⁸ should be strong to grasp, together with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height" ¹⁹ to know the love of Christ as well which transcends knowledge - that you may be completed for the entire complement of God. ²⁰ Now to Him Who is able to do superexcessively above all that we are requesting or apprehending, according to the power that is operating in us, ²¹ to Him be the glory in the ecclesia and in Christ Jesus for all the generations of the eon of the eons! Amen!

²⁶ the secret which has been concealed from the eons and from the generations, yet now was made manifest to His saints, ²⁷ to whom God wills to make known what are the glorious riches of this secret among the nations, which is: Christ among you, the expectation of glory"

¹⁰ and to be waiting for His Son out of the heavens, Whom He rouses from among the dead, Jesus, our Rescuer out of the coming indignation."

¹⁶ And avowedly great is the secret of devoutness, which was manifested in flesh, justified in spirit, seen by messengers, heralded among the nations, believed in the world, taken up in glory."

¹⁶ Yet now they are craving a better, that is, a celestial; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be invoked as their God, for He makes ready for them a city."

⁷ Be patient, then, brethren, till the presence of the Lord. Lo! the farmer is waiting for the precious fruit of the land, being patient about it, till it should be getting the early and late showers."

¹ Perceive what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God! And we are! Therefore the world does not know us, for it did not know Him." ² Beloved, now are we children of God, and it was not as yet manifested what we shall be. We are aware that, if He should be manifested, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him according as He is."

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we love God, but that He loves us, and dispatches His son, a propitiatory shelter concerned with our sins."

¹ And I perceived a new heaven and a new earth, for the former heaven and the former earth pass away, and the sea is no more." ² I perceived the holy city, new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband." ³ And I hear a loud voice out of the throne saying, "Lo! the tabernacle of God is with mankind, and He will be tabernacling with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them." ⁴ And He will be brushing away every tear from their eyes. And death will be no more, nor mourning, nor clamor, nor misery; they will be no more, for the former things passed away."

²² And a temple I did not perceive in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lambkin." ²³ And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should be appearing in it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lambkin." ²⁴ And the nations shall be walking by means of its light, and the kings of the earth are carrying their glory into it."

¹ And he shows me a river of water of life, resplendent as crystal, issuing out of the throne of God and the Lambkin." ² In the center of its square, and on either side of the river, is the log of life, producing twelve fruits, rendering its fruit in accord with each month. And the leaves of the log are for the cure of the nations." ³ And there shall be no more any doom, and the throne of God and of the Lambkin shall be in it. And His slaves shall be offering divine service to Him." ⁴ And they shall be seeing His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads." ⁵ And night shall be no more, and they have no need of lamplight and sunlight, for the Lord God shall be illuminating them. And they shall be reigning for the eons of the eons."

²⁴ An altar of ground soil shall you make for Me, and you will sacrifice on it your ascent offerings and your peace offerings, your flock and your herd. In every place where I shall record My name I shall come to you and will bless you.

²² I will keep appointment with you there, and I will speak with you above the propitiatory shelter from between the two cherubim which are over the coffer of the testimony of all which I am instructing you for the sons of Israel.

⁴² a regular ascent offering throughout your generations, at the portal of the tent of appointment, before Yahweh, where I shall keep appointment with you to speak to you there. ⁴³ And I will keep appointment there with the sons of Israel, and it will be hallowed by My glory.

⁶ and you will put it before the curtain which shall be by the coffer of the testimony, before the propitiatory shelter which shall be on the testimony where I shall keep appointment with you.

¹⁰ All the paths of Yahweh are benignity and truth For those preserving His covenant and His testimonies.

⁴ Find pleasure in Yahweh, And He shall give you the requests of your heart."

⁷ For we are consumed by Your anger, And by Your fury are we filled with panic." ⁸ You have set our depravities in front of You, Our obscured deeds in the full light of Your face." ⁹ Indeed all our days turn around before Your rage; We finish our years like a mumble.

¹⁷ Yet the benignity of Yahweh is from eon unto eon over those fearing Him, And His righteousness continues for the sons of sons,

¹ {Praise Yah{ Happy is the man who fears Yahweh; In His instructions he very much delights.

⁸ Indeed, in the path of Your judgments, Yahweh, we expect You. To Your name and to Your law is the yearning of our soul." ⁹ With my soul I yearn for You in the night. Indeed, with my spirit within me I will seek You early. For as a light are Your judgments to the earth, the dwellers of the habitance learn righteousness."

¹ For thus says Yahweh, "Keep judgment, and do justice. For near is My salvation to come, and My righteousness to be revealed." ² Happy is the mortal who is doing this, and the son of humanity who is holding fast in it, keeping from violating the sabbath, and keeping his hand from doing any evil." ³ And the son of the foreigner obligated to Yahweh must not speak, saying, `Separating, yea separating me is Yahweh from His people,' and the eunuch must not say, `Behold! I am a dry tree.'" ⁴ For thus says Yahweh, "To the eunuchs who will keep `My sabbaths, and choose that in which I delight, and hold fast to My covenant, ⁵ then I give to them, in My house and in My walls, an acclaiming hand, and a name better than sons and daughters. A name eonian will I give to them, which shall not be cut off." ⁶ And the sons of the foreigner obligated to Yahweh to minister to Him, and to love the name of Yahweh, to become His servants, and everyone keeping from violating My sabbath, and holding fast My covenant, ⁷ I bring them also to My holy mountain, and I make them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascent approaches and their sacrifices shall ascend for acceptance on My altar, for My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all the peoples,

¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them."

¹⁸ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself, `You have chastised me, And I am chastised, as a heifer not taught, Turn me back, and I turn back, For you [are] Yahweh my Elohim." ¹⁹ For after my turning back I repented, And after my being instructed I struck on the thigh, I have been ashamed, I have also blushed, For I have borne the reproach of my youth." ²⁰ A precious son is Ephraim to Me? A child of delights? For since My speaking against him, I do thoroughly remember him still, Therefore have My bowels been moved for him, I do greatly love him, An affirmation of Yahweh."

³ And we shall know--we shall pursue to know Yahweh; as the dawn is prepared we shall find Him, and He will come to us as a downpour, as the latter rain and the former rain of the land."

⁸ How shall I dispense to you, Ephraim? Shall I award you, Israel? How shall I dispense to you as Admah? Shall I make you as Zeboim? My heart is turned in Me; my comfortings are fervid together."

⁶ For I, Yahweh your Elohim, do not alter; and you, sons of Jacob, are not finished."

² devout and fearing God with his entire house, doing many alms to the people and beseeching God continually, ³ perceived in a vision manifestly, as if about the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God entering to him and saying to him, "Cornelius!" ⁴ Now he, looking intently at him, and becoming affrighted, said, "What is it, lord?Now he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms ascended for a memorial in front of God."

³⁵ but in every nation he who is fearing Him and acting righteously is acceptable to Him.

¹³ Brethren, not as yet am I reckoning myself to have grasped, yet one thing - forgetting, indeed, those things which are behind, yet stretching out to those in front - " ¹⁴ toward the goal am I pursuing for the prize of God's calling above in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Whoever, then, are mature, may be disposed to this, and if in anything you are differently disposed, this also shall God reveal to you."

¹⁶ We may be coming, then, with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may be obtaining mercy and finding grace for opportune help."

⁴ Who can bring what is clean from the unclean? No one.

¹⁴ What is a mortal that he should be purged, Or that one born of a woman should be justified? ¹⁵ If even on His holy ones, He puts no reliance, And the heavens are not purged in His eyes, ¹⁶ How much less man, Who is abhorrent and spoiled, Who is drinking iniquity like water.

⁴ How then can a mortal be righteous before El, And how can one born of woman be pure?

⁴ Behold, I am slight; how can I reply to You? I place my hand upon my mouth.

⁵ With the hearing of the ear I had heard of You, But now my eye sees You. ⁶ Therefore I sink down and repent On soil and ashes.

⁴ Not so the wicked, But rather they are like the trash that the wind whisks away.

⁵ Behold, I was with depravity when I was travailed in birth, And in sin when my mother conceived me."

⁵ You storm them away to sleep; They become like the grass in the morning that passes by; ⁶ In the morning it blossoms, but it passes by; By evening it is snipped off and has dried up."

⁵ And saying am I, "Alack to me! For stilled am I, for a man of unclean lips am I, and amidst a people of unclean lips am I dwelling, for the King, Yahweh of hosts, my eyes have seen!"

⁶ A voice says, "Call!And I say, "What shall I call?All flesh is grass, and all its glory is as the blossom of the field." ⁷ Dry is the grass; decayed is the blossom, for the spirit of Yahweh is reversed in it. Surely, grass are the people." ⁸ Dry is the grass; decayed is the blossom. Yet the word of our Elohim shall be confirmed for the eon."

¹² Hearken to Me, sturdy of heart, far from righteousness."

¹ Hear this, house of Jacob, called by the name of Israel, and those who from the waters of Judah fare forth, those swearing by the name of Yahweh, and the Elohim of Israel are mentioning, not in truth, and not in righteousness,

⁶ All of us, as a flockling, have strayed; each man to his own way, we face, yet Yahweh, in Him, intercedes because of all our depravity."

¹² I, I am telling of My righteousness and of your evil deeds. Your conveners are not benefiting you at your outcry." ¹³ Are your conveners rescuing you in your distress? Yet all of them shall be carried away by the wind. Vanity shall take them. Yet he who is taking refuge in Me shall be allotted land, and tenant My holy mountain."

¹¹ At that time it is said of this people, And of Jerusalem:`A dry wind of high places in the wilderness,' The way of the daughter of My people, (Not for winnowing, nor for cleansing,)" ¹² A full wind from these does come for Me, Now, also, I speak judgments with them."

¹⁹ The wind distresses her in its wings, and they shall be ashamed of their altars."

³ Yet Joshua comes to be clothed in filthy garments, and is standing before the messenger."

⁸ And he is saying, This woman is wickedness. And he is flinging her down into the midst of the ephah. And he is flinging the stone of lead on its mouth." ⁹ Then I am lifting my eyes and am seeing, and behold! Two women faring forth; and the wind is in their wings. And they have wings as the wings of a stork. And they are lifting up the ephah between the earth and the heavens." ¹⁰ And I am saying to the messenger who is speaking with me, Whither are they causing the ephah to go? ¹¹ And he is saying to me, To build for her a house in the land of Shinar. And it shall be established and left there on its base."

¹⁸ For I am aware that good is not making its home in me (that is, in my flesh), for to will is lying beside me, yet to be effecting the ideal is not."

²⁴ A wretched man am I! What will rescue me out of this body of death? Grace!

¹ And you, being dead to your offenses and sins, ² in which once you walked, in accord with the eon of this world, in accord with the chief of the jurisdiction of the air, the spirit now operating in the sons of stubbornness "

⁹ and may be found in Him, not having my righteousness, which is of law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God for faith:"

³ For we also were once foolish, stubborn, deceived, slaves of various desires and gratifications, leading a life in malice and envy, detestable, hating one another."

¹⁰ yet the rich in his humiliation, for, as the flower of grass, shall he pass by." ¹¹ For the sun rises, together with the scorching heat, and withers the grass, and its flower falls off, and the comeliness of its aspect perished. Thus the rich also in his goings shall be caused to fade."

²⁴ because All flesh is grass, And all its glory is as the flower of grass. Withered is the grass, And the flower falls off..." ²⁵ Yet the declaration of the Lord is remaining for the eon. Now this is the declaration which is being brought to you in the evangel.

¹⁷ Seeing that you are saying that 'Rich am I!' and 'Rich have I become, and of nothing have I need!' and you are not aware that you are wretched and forlorn and poor and blind and naked, ¹⁸ I am advising you to buy of Me gold refined by the fire, that you should be rich, and white garments, that you may be clothed and the shame of your nakedness may not be made manifest, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes, that you may be observing."

¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These clothed in white robes, who are they, and whence came they?

¹⁷ My anger will grow hot against them on that day, and I will forsake them and conceal My face from them; then they will come to be devoured, and many evils and distresses will find them. Then they will say on that day:Is it not because our Elohim is not among us that these evils have found us? ¹⁸ Yet I shall conceal, yea conceal My face from them on that day on account of all the evil which they will have done, for they will have turned around to other elohim.

¹⁹ Yahweh saw and spurned them because of the vexation caused by His sons and His daughters. ²⁰ And he said:Let Me conceal My face from them; I shall examine what their latter days are to be. For they are a wayward generation, sons with no faithfulness in them. ²¹ As for them, they make Me jealous with a non-el. They provoke Me to vexation with their idols of vanity. As for Me, I shall make them jealous with a non-people; with a decadent nation shall I cause them vexation. ²² For a fire will be kindled by My anger, and it shall glow unto the unseen beneath; it shall devour the earth and its crop, and it shall set aflame the foundations of the mountains. ²³ I shall cause evils to sweep up over them; I shall exhaust My arrows among them ²⁴ who are gaunt with famine, fought by pestilence and bitter sting:Even the tooth of beasts shall I send among them along with the venom of skulkers of the soil. ²⁵ From the outside, the sword shall bereave, and from the chambers, the dread of war, even for the man in his prime, even for the virgin, the suckling along with the grey-haired man.

⁴ If your sons sin against Him, Then He shall cast them out into the grip of their transgression.

⁴ Have they no knowledge, all those contrivers of lawlessness, Who are devouring My people as they would devour bread? They do not call upon Yahweh."

¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

⁵ Or will he hold fast in My strength, making repayment to Me? Will he make repayment to Me?

² For what reason, when I came, was there no man? I called, and there was no answer? Is My hand too short to ransom? Or should no vigor be in Me to rescue? Behold! By My rebuke will I drain the sea; I will convert streams into a wilderness. Their fish will dry up, because there is no water, and they will die from thirst."

⁸ In effervescent wrath I concealed My face a moment from you, yet with kindness eonian have I compassion on you,says your Redeemer, Yahweh."

⁴ For thus says Yahweh, "To the eunuchs who will keep `My sabbaths, and choose that in which I delight, and hold fast to My covenant,

¹⁷ At his depravity, for a moment, I was wroth, and I am smiting him. And I conceal My face from him and am wroth when he is going, backsliding in the way of his heart."

² But rather your depravities become a separation between you and your Elohim. And your sins conceal His face from you, from hearing you."

⁴ No one is calling in righteousness, and no one is being judged in faithfulness. They trust in chaos, and speak futility. They are pregnant with toil, and generate lawlessness."

¹⁶ And He is seeing that there is no man, and He is dejected that there is no intercessor. Yet His arm will save for Him, and His righteousness, it supports Him."

⁷ Therefore, thus said Yahweh of Hosts:Lo, I am refining them, and have tried them, For how do I do because of the daughter of My people?

¹⁸ The house of Israel has been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace--dross has silver been, ¹⁹ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, lo, I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem, ²⁰ A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace--to blow on it fire, to melt it, So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you." ²¹ And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And you have been melted in its midst." ²² As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are you melted in its midst, And you have known that I, Yahweh, I have poured out My fury upon you.'"

³⁰ And I seek of them a man making a fence, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land--not to destroy it, And I have not found."

¹¹ And cause it to stand on its coals empty, So that its brass is hot and burning, Melted has been in its midst its uncleanness, Consumed is its scum."

¹⁵ For I will go and return to My place till they are pleading guilty, and they seek My face. In their distress they will seek Me early, saying:"

⁷ All of them are being warmed as by a stove, and they devour their judges. All their kings fall; there is none among them calling to Me."

¹⁴ And they do not cry out to Me with their heart, for they are howling on their beds; over grain and grape juice they are stirring themselves up; they are withdrawing from Me."

²² So you will say to Pharaoh: Thus says Yahweh, My son, My firstborn, is Israel.

⁶ Is this what you requite to Yahweh, you decadent and unwise people? Is not He your Father Who acquired you? He Himself made you and established you.

⁸ Your hands shaped me and made me; Yet afterward You swallow me up round about. ⁹ Remember now that You molded me like clay; Shall You then turn me back to soil?

³ Know that Yahweh, He is Elohim; He it is Who has made us, and we are His. His people are we and the flock of His pasture."

⁷³ Your hands, they have made me and are establishing me; Give me understanding so I may learn Your instructions."

⁸ Yahweh, He shall perfect in my future; O Yahweh, Your benignity is for the eon. The works of Your hands, O do not relax. {Permanent{ "

¹⁶ O! Your waywardness! Should as clay, the Potter be accounted? For is what is made saying of its Maker, `He did not make me'? And does the formed say of its Former, `He does not understand'?

⁷ everyone being called by My name. And for My glory I created him, I formed him. Indeed, I made him."

²¹ Remember these things, Jacob and Israel, for My servant are you. I formed you. A servant of Mine are you, Israel. You shall not be oblivious of Me."

²⁴ Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and your Former from the belly:"I, Yahweh, am Maker of all, Who stretched out the heavens alone. When stamping out the earth, who was with Me?

⁹ Will anyone contend with his Former? The earthenware with the ceramists? Is the clay saying to its potter, `What are you making?' And your contrivance, `No hands has he'?

¹⁶ For You are our Father, for Abraham does not know us, and Israel is not recognizing us. You are He, Yahweh, our Father, our Redeemer; from the eon is Your name."

² Rise, and you have gone down [to] the potter's house, and there I cause you to hear My words;" ³ and I go down [to] the potter's house, and lo, he is doing a work on the stones, ⁴ and marred is the vessel that he is making, as clay in the hand of the potter, and he has turned and he makes it another vessel, as it was right in the eyes of the potter to make." ⁵ And there is a word of Yahweh to me, saying:" ⁶ As this potter am I not able to do to you? O house of Israel, an affirmation of Yahweh. Lo, as clay in the hand of the potter, So [are] you in My hand, O house of Israel."

²⁰ O man! who are you, to be sure, who are answering again to God? That which is molded will not protest to the molder, "Why do you make me thus? ²¹ Or has not the potter the right over the clay, out of the same kneading to make one vessel, indeed, for honor, yet one for dishonor? ²² Now if God, wanting to display His indignation and to make His powerful doings known, carries, with much patience, the vessels of indignation, adapted for destruction, ²³ it is that He should also be making known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He makes ready before for glory -" ²⁴ us, whom He calls also, not only out of the Jews, but out of the nations also."

²⁶ for you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus."

²⁹ Now if you are Christ's, consequently you are of Abraham's seed, enjoyers of the allotment according to the promise."

¹⁰ For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them."

⁵ How long, O Yahweh? Shall You be angry permanently? How long shall Your jealousy consume like a fire? ⁶ Pour out Your fury on the nations that do not know You, And on kingdoms that do not call on Your Name." ⁷ For they have devoured Jacob, And they have desolated his homestead." ⁸ Do not hold against us the depravities of former generations; Let Your compassions quickly confront us, For we are very impoverished." ⁹ Help us, O Elohim of our salvation, on behalf of the glory of Your Name; Rescue us and make a propitiatory shelter over our sins on account of Your Name."

¹³ Then we, Your people and the flock of Your pasture, We shall acclaim You for the eon; For generation after generation we shall recount Your praise. {Permanent{ {Concerning Elations {Anemones{, A Testimony{ "

⁹⁴ I am Yours; save me, For I have sought after Your precepts."

²⁵ I, I am He Who wipes out your transgressions on My own account, and your sins I will not remember further."

¹⁰ And your walls are built by sons of foreigners, and their kings shall minister to you. For, in My wrath, I smote you, yet, in My acceptance, I have compassion on you."

¹⁹ We become as those from the eon. Not among them do You rule, nor is Your name called over them."

¹² Go, and you have proclaimed these words toward the north, and have said, Turn back, O backsliding Israel, An affirmation of Yahweh! I cause not Mine anger to fall upon you, For I [am] kind, an affirmation of Yahweh, I watch not to the eon."

²⁴ Chastise me, O Yahweh, only in judgment, Not in Your anger, lest You make me small."

²⁰ Why are You forgetting us so permanently, forsaking us for length of days?

¹⁸ Who is an El as You are, bearing with depravity, and passing over transgression, for the remnant of His allotment? He does not hold fast His anger for the future. For He delights in kindness." ¹⁹ He will return, having compassion on us. He will subdue our depravities. And You wilt fling into the shadowy depths of the sea all our sins." ²⁰ You wilt render the truth to Jacob, the kindness to Abraham, which You swear to our forefathers from days aforetime."

² WITH A SONG Yahweh, I hear Your report, I fear, Yahweh, Your contrivance; within the years make it live; within the years are You informing. In the disturbance You are remembering compassion."

⁴ Though Edom shall say, We are destitute, yet we will return and will build the deserted places, thus says Yahweh of hosts:They will build, yet I will demolish. And they will call them Boundary of wickedness and The people whom Yahweh menaces till the eon."

¹⁷ These are waterless springs, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the gloom of darkness has been kept."

¹⁰ And the Adversary who is deceiving them was cast into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the wild beast and where the false prophet are also. And they shall be tormented day and night for the eons of the eons."

⁹ and he burns the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, yea, every great house he has burned with fire;"

¹⁹ And they burn the house of Elohim, and break down the wall of Jerusalem, and all its palaces they have burnt with fire, and all its desirable vessels--to destruction. ²⁰ And he removes those left of the sword unto Babylon, and they are to him and to his sons for servants, till the reigning of the kingdom of Persia, ²¹ to fulfil the word of Yahweh in the mouth of Jeremiah, till the land has enjoyed its sabbaths; all the days of the desolation it kept sabbath--to the fulness of seventy years.

¹ {An Asaphic Psalm{ O Elohim, the nations have entered Your allotment; They have defiled Your holy Temple; They have turned Jerusalem into rubbish heaps." ² They have given the carcasses of Your servants as food for the flyer of the heavens, The flesh of Your benign ones to the wild animal of the earth." ³ They have poured out their blood like water, around Jerusalem, And there was no one entombing them." ⁴ We have become a reproach to our neighbors, A derision and a scoffing to those round about us." ⁵ How long, O Yahweh? Shall You be angry permanently? How long shall Your jealousy consume like a fire? ⁶ Pour out Your fury on the nations that do not know You, And on kingdoms that do not call on Your Name." ⁷ For they have devoured Jacob, And they have desolated his homestead."

⁷ Your land is a desolation, and your cities are burned with fire. Your ground--in front of you aliens are devouring it, and desolation is on it as an overturning by alien peoples."

¹ How solitary sits the city once of many people! She has become like a widow who was great among nations; The chief princess among the provinces, she has become a payer of tribute." ² She is lamenting, yea lamenting in the night, her tears on her cheeks; There is no one to comfort her of all her lovers; All her associates have dealt treacherously with her; they have become her enemies." ³ Deported is Judah after humiliation and much servitude; She dwells among the nations but finds no rest; All her pursuers have overtaken her in the narrow places. ⁴ The roads to Zion are mournful without anyone coming to the appointed festivals; All her gateways are desolate; her priests are sighing; Her virgins are afflicted, and to herself it has brought bitterness."

⁴ He has positioned His bow like an enemy, setting His right hand like a foe; And He is killing all that is coveted by the eye in the tent of the daughter of Zion; He has poured out His fury like fire." ⁵ Yahweh has become like an enemy; He has swallowed up Israel; He has swallowed up all her citadels; He has ruined its fortresses; And He is multiplying, in the daughter of Judah, complaint and complaining." ⁶ He is casting down His booth as in a garden; He has ruined His appointed festivals; Yahweh has made appointed festivals and sabbath forgotten in Zion, And in the indignation of His anger He is spurning king and priest." ⁷ Yahweh has cast off His altar; He has disowned His sanctuary; He has surrendered the walls of her citadels into the hand of the enemy. They have raised their voice in the House of Yahweh as on the day of an appointed festival. ⁸ Yahweh has designed to ruin the wall of the daughter of Zion; He has stretched out the measuring tape; He has not turned back His hand from dismantling; So He makes the rampart and wall mourn; together they are enfeebled.

¹⁸ Because of Mount Zion which is desolate, foxes prowl about it."

²⁶ After the sixty-two sevens, Messiah will be cut off, and there is no adjudication for Him. The city and the holy place shall be laid in ruins with the other governor's coming; then its end is by an overflow, and till the end of the war desolations will be decided." ²⁷ Then he will be master of a covenant with many for one seven:At half of the seven, he will cause to cease the sacrifice and the approach present; on a wing of the sanctuary shall be desolating abominations. Till the conclusion of the era the decided conclusion will be poured forth on the desolation."

⁷ I am hearing the man clothed in linen who is above the waters of the waterway, "Till the era of the end.Then he is holding high his right and his left hands to the heavens and is swearing by Him Who is living for the eon, that it is for an appointed time, two appointed times and half an appointed time. And as is concluded the shattering of the hand of the holy people, concluding are all these things."

¹² Wherefore, due to you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubbish heaps, and the mountain of the house fane heights of a wildwood."

²¹ Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains, and let those in her midst be coming out into the country, and let not those in the country be entering into her,

²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."

¹ And a reed like a rod was given me, and one said, "Rouse, measure the temple of God and the altar and those worshiping in it." ² And the court outside of the temple cast outside, and you should not be measuring it, for it was given to the nations, and the holy city will they be treading forty-two months."

¹⁴ And the king turns round his face, and blesses the whole assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel is standing.

⁵⁶ `Blessed [is] Yahweh who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; there has not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of Moses his servant.

⁴ and he said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, who has spoken with His mouth with David my father, and with His hands has fulfilled [it], saying.

³ And all the sons of Israel are looking on the descending of the fire, and the honor of Yahweh on the house, and they bow--faces to the earth--on the pavement, and do obeisance, and give thanks to Yahweh, for good, for to the eon [is] His kindness.

⁶ And the priests over their charges are standing, and the Levites with instruments of the song of Yahweh--that David the king made, to give thanks to Yahweh, for to the eon [is] His kindness, in David's praising by their hand--and the priests are blowing trumpets over-against them, and all Israel are standing.

²⁵ And he appoints the Levites in the house of Yahweh with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, by the command of David, and of Gad, seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, for by the hand of Yahweh [is] the command, by the hand of His prophets;" ²⁶ and the Levites stand with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets. ²⁷ And Hezekiah said to cause the burnt-offering to ascend on the altar; and at the time the burnt-offering began--began the song of Yahweh, and the trumpets, even by the hands of the instruments of David king of Israel. ²⁸ And all the assembly are doing obeisance, and the singers singing, and the trumpeters blowing; the whole [is] till the completion of the burnt-offering. ²⁹ And at the completion of the offering up bowed have the king and all those found with him, and do obeisance. ³⁰ And Hezekiah the king said, and the princes, to the Levites to give praise to Yahweh in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, and they praise--unto joy, and they bow, and do obeisance.

¹⁹ And they burn the house of Elohim, and break down the wall of Jerusalem, and all its palaces they have burnt with fire, and all its desirable vessels--to destruction.

⁵ They hacked to pieces like men wielding upward With hatchets into a thicket of trees. ⁶ And now its engraved panels altogether They are battering with crowbar and bills. ⁷ They send up Your Sanctuary in fire; Down to the earth they profane the Tabernacle of Your Name.

¹³ and he burns the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house he has burned with fire,

⁷ Jerusalem remembers in the days of her humiliation and her homelessness, all her coveted things that were from days of long ago, When her people fell into the hand of the foe, and there was no help for her. The foes saw her; they made sport of her dissolution."

¹⁰ The foe has spread out his hand over all her coveted things; Indeed she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, Concerning whom You had instructed that they should not enter Your assembly." ¹¹ All her people are sighing, seeking bread; They have given their coveted things for food to restore the soul; See, O Yahweh, and look on me, for I have become abject."

⁷ Yahweh has cast off His altar; He has disowned His sanctuary; He has surrendered the walls of her citadels into the hand of the enemy. They have raised their voice in the House of Yahweh as on the day of an appointed festival.

²⁰ As to the beauty of his ornament, For excellency He set it, And the images of their abominations, Their detestable things--they made in it, Therefore I have given it to them for impurity, ²¹ And I have given it into the hand of the strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the land for a spoil, And they have polluted it."

²¹ Say to the house of Israel:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am polluting My sanctuary, The excellency of your strength, The desire of your eyes, and the pitied of your soul, And your sons and your daughters whom you have left, by sword they do fall."

²⁵ And you, son of man, Is it not in the day of My taking from them their strength, The joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, And the song of their soul, Their sons and their daughters?

² Yet He, answering, said to them, "Are you not observing all these? Verily, I am saying to you, Under no circumstances may a stone here be left on a stone, which shall not be demolished."

¹ Why are You standing far off, O Yahweh? Why are You obscuring Yourself in seasons of distress?

¹⁰ How long, O Elohim, shall the foe reproach? Shall the enemy spurn Your Name permanently? ¹¹ Why are You turning back Your hand, even Your right hand? Take it from within Your bosom and finish them."

¹⁸ Remember this:the enemy has reproached You, O Yahweh, And the decadent people have spurned Your Name." ¹⁹ O do not give the soul of Your turtledove to the wild animals; O do not forget the life of Your humbled ones permanently.

⁵ How long, O Yahweh? Shall You be angry permanently? How long shall Your jealousy consume like a fire?

³ O Elohim, restore us, And light up Your face so that we may be saved." ⁴ O Yahweh Elohim of hosts, How long will You smolder against the prayer of Your people?

⁴⁶ How long, O Yahweh; shall You be concealed permanently? How long shall Your fury consume like fire? ⁴⁷ Remember how transient is my life, For what futility have You created all the sons of humanity? ⁴⁸ What master could live and not see death? Could his soul escape from the hand of the unseen? {Interlude{ ⁴⁹ Where are Your former benignities, O Yahweh, Which You swore to David in Your faithfulness? ⁵⁰ Remember, O Yahweh, the reproach of Your servants; I bear in my bosom the mortification from many peoples, ⁵¹ With which Your enemies reproach, O Yahweh, With which they reproach the heel-prints of Your anointed one."

¹⁴ Yea, I hushed from the eon. I will be silent. I will check Myself. As a bearing woman I will puff up. I will breathe, and gulp together."

¹² Then the messenger of Yahweh is answering and saying, Yahweh of hosts, till when wilt You not have compassion on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, which You do menace these seventy years?

¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying, "Till when, O Owner, holy and true, art Thou not judging and avenging our blood on those dwelling on the earth?
