⁵ For Job has said:I am just, Yet El, He has taken away my due;"

⁷ Although Your knowledge is that I am not wicked, And there is no one rescuing from Your hand?

⁴ Now you say, My doctrine is pure, And I am purified in Your eyes.

¹⁷ Although there is no violence in my palm, And my prayer is pure.

² As El lives, Who has taken away judgment for me, He Who Suffices, Who has brought bitterness on my soul,

¹⁴ I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My right judgment was as a robe and a turban.

¹ So these three men ceased from answering Job, for he was righteous in his own eyes.
