Job 35:13 Cross References - CLV

¹³ Yea, it is futility; El does not hear, And He Who Suffices does not regard it.

²² Take hold, I pray, to the law from His mouth, And place His sayings in your heart. ²³ If you return unto Him Who Suffices and you submit, If you put iniquity far from your ten. ²⁴ And set aside your gold ore upon the soil, And wealth of Ophir among the rocks of the watercourses, ²⁵ Then He Who Suffices will become your gold ore And refined silver for you. ²⁶ For then you shall find pleasure for yourself in Him Who Suffices, And you shall lift your face to Eloah. ²⁷ You shall entreat Him, and He shall hear you, And you shall pay your vows.

⁸ For what expectation can the polluted have when he is clipped off, When Eloah eases away his soul? ⁹ Shall El hearken to his cry When distress comes upon him?

²⁰ I implore to You, yet You do not answer me; I stand up, yet You do not consider me.

¹⁷ He will turn toward the prayer of the forlorn, And He will not despise their prayer."

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet the prayer of the upright is acceptable to Him."

²⁹ Yahweh is far from the wicked, Yet He hears the prayer of the righteous."

⁹ He who keeps his ear away from hearing the law--Even his prayer is an abhorrence.

¹ Guard your feet when you go to the house of Elohim; To go near to hear is better than that the stupid should offer sacrifice, For they know nothing but to do evil." ² Do not be rash with your mouth, And your heart must not hasten to bring forth speech before the One, Elohim; For the One, Elohim, is in the heavens, And you are on the earth; Therefore, let your words become few." ³ For as dreams come with much responsibility, So the voice of a stupid person comes with many words."

¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

¹¹ Therefore thus said Yahweh:Lo, I am bringing in unto them evil, That they are not able to go out from, And they have cried unto Me, And I do not hearken unto them."

¹⁴ And they do not cry out to Me with their heart, for they are howling on their beds; over grain and grape juice they are stirring themselves up; they are withdrawing from Me."

² To Me will they cry out, My Elohim, we, Israel, know You." ³ Israel casts off the good. An enemy shall pursue him.

²² For if you bring up to Me ascent approaches or approach presents, I will not accept them. And on the peace approaches of your fatlings I will not look."

⁷ Now, in praying, you should not use useless repetitions even as those of the nations. For they are supposing that they will be hearkened to in their loquacity."

²¹ Now He said to her, "What are you wanting?She is saying to Him, "Say that these, my two sons, should be seated, one at Thy right and one at Thy left, in Thy kingdom." ²² Now answering, Jesus said, "You are not aware what you are requesting. Are you able to be drinking the cup which I am about to be drinking?They are saying to Him, "We are able."

³ You are requesting and not obtaining, because you are requesting evilly, that you should be spending it on your gratifications."
