¹⁵ The priest will bring it near to the altar and pinch off its head and cause it to fume on the altar; yet its blood will be wrung out against the sidewall of the altar.

⁸ He will bring them to the priest who will bring near the one for the sin offering first. The priest will pinch off its head toward its nape yet shall not separate it. ⁹ He will spatter some of the blood of the sin offering against the sidewall of the altar; and the remainder of the blood shall be wrung out at the foundation of the altar; it is a sin offering.

¹ {Davidic{ Save me, O Elohim, for waters come unto my soul!" ² I sink in the mire of a swamp, and there is no standing ground. I come into deep waters, and the surge engulfs me." ³ I am weary with all my calling; my throat is parched. My eyes have failed, waiting for my Elohim." ⁴ Multiplied more than the hairs of my head are those hating me gratuitously; Plentiful are those seeking to efface me, my enemies, dealing falsely. Must I restore then what I have not pillaged? ⁵ O Elohim, You know my folly, And my guilty acts are not suppressed from You." ⁶ Let not those expecting You be put to shame through me, O my Lord, Yahweh of hosts! Let not those seeking You be mortified through me, O Elohim of Israel!" ⁷ For on Your account I bear reproach; Mortification covers my face. ⁸ I have become an alien to my brothers And a foreigner to the sons of my mother. ⁹ For the zeal of Your House, it devours me, And the reproaches of those reproaching You, they fall on me." ¹⁰ When I lament by the fasting of my soul, It becomes a reproach against me;" ¹¹ When I make my clothing of sackcloth, I become a proverb to them." ¹² Those sitting in the gateway are mulling over me, And those drinking intoxicants make me the accompaniment of their songs." ¹³ As for me, my prayer is to You, O Yahweh, for a season acceptable. O Elohim, in Your great benignity, answer me with the faithfulness of Your salvation." ¹⁴ Rescue me from the mud, and let me not sink; Let me be rescued from those hating me, and from the depths of the waters." ¹⁵ Let not the surge of the water be engulfing me, Let not the swamp be swallowing me up, And let not the well be blocking off its mouth over me." ¹⁶ Answer me, O Yahweh, for Your benignity is good; Turn toward me according to Your many compassions." ¹⁷ Do not conceal Your face from Your servant, For distress is mine; quickly answer me." ¹⁸ Come near to my soul and redeem it; On account of my enemies, ransom me." ¹⁹ You Yourself know my reproach and my shame and my mortification; In front of You are all my foes. ²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart, and I do feel my mortality; I expect one to sympathize, and there is none, And look for comforters, yet I find not one." ²¹ They give me poison in my repast, And for my thirst they cause me to drink vinegar."

⁴ Surely our illnesses has He borne, and our pains--He was burdened with them. Yet we account Him touched, smitten by the Elohim and humbled." ⁵ Yet He was wounded because of our transgressions, and crushed because of our depravities. The discipline for our welfare was on Him, and by His welts there is healing for us."

¹⁰ yet Yahweh desires to crush Him, and He causes Him to be wounded. Should you place His soul for a guilt approach, He shall see a seed. He shall lengthen His days, and the desire of Yahweh shall prosper in His hand."

¹ And it occurred, when Jesus finishes all these sayings, He said to His disciples, ² You are aware that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Mankind is being given up to be crucified." ³ Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered in the courtyard of the chief priest, who is termed Caiaphas, ⁴ and they plan that they should be laying hold of Jesus by guile and should be killing Him. ⁵ Yet they said, "Not in the festival, lest a tumult may be occurring among the people." ⁶ Now at Jesus' coming to be in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, ⁷ a woman came to Him having an alabaster vase of attar, very precious, and she pours it down on His head at His lying back at table." ⁸ Now perceiving it, His disciples resent it, saying, "Why this destruction? ⁹ For this could be disposed of for much and given to the poor." ¹⁰ Now, knowing it, Jesus said to them, "Why are you affording the woman weariness? For she works an ideal work for Me." ¹¹ For you always have the poor with you, yet Me you have not always." ¹² For she, spraying this attar on My body, does it for My burial." ¹³ Verily, I am saying to you, Wheresoever this evangel may be heralded in the whole world, that also which she does shall be spoken of for a memorial of her." ¹⁴ Then one of the twelve who is termed Judas Iscariot, having gone to the chief priests, said, "What are you willing to give me, and I will be giving Him up to you? ¹⁵ Now they weigh for him thirty pieces of silver. ¹⁶ And thenceforth he sought an opportunity that he may be giving Him up. ¹⁷ Now, on the first day of unleavened bread, the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, "Where art Thou wanting we should be making ready for Thee to be eating the passover? ¹⁸ Now He said, "Go into the city to so and so, and say to him, 'The Teacher is saying, "My appointed time is near. With you am I holding the passover with My disciples."'" ¹⁹ And the disciples do as Jesus arranges with them, and they make ready the passover." ²⁰ Now, evening coming on, He was lying back at table with the twelve disciples." ²¹ And at their eating, He said, "Verily, I am saying to you that one of you shall be giving Me up." ²² And, sorrowing tremendously each one of them begins to be saying to Him, "It is not I, Lord!" ²³ Now He, answering, said, "He who dips his hand with Me in the dish, he will be giving Me up." ²⁴ The Son of Mankind is indeed going away, according as it is written concerning Him, yet woe to that man through whom the Son of Mankind is being given up! Ideal were it for Him if that man were not born!" ²⁵ Now, answering, Judas, who is giving Him up, said, "It is not I, Rabbi!Jesus is saying to him, "You say it." ²⁶ Now at their eating, Jesus, taking the bread, and blessing, breaks it, and, giving to the disciples, said, "Take, eat. This is My body." ²⁷ And taking the cup and giving thanks, He gives it to them, saying, "Drink of it all,

²⁷ And the anointing which you obtained from Him is remaining in you, and you have no need that anyone may be teaching you, but as His anointing is teaching you concerning all, and is true, and is no lie, according as it teaches you also, remain in Him."
