³ And he dispatches his slaves to call those invited to the wedding festivities, and they would not come."

¹³ At your going in to the city so you do find him, before he does go up in to the high place to eat; for the people do not eat till his coming, for he does bless the sacrifice; afterwards they eat, who are called, and now, go up, for at this time you find him..

¹¹ Yahweh Himself gave the saying; The women who bore the tidings were a vast host;

¹⁰ I, Yahweh, am your Elohim, Who brought you up from the country of Egypt; Open wide your mouth, and I shall fill it." ¹¹ Yet My people would not hearken to My voice, And Israel would not comply with Me." ¹² So I let them go in the obduracy of their own heart; They went in their own counsels.

²⁴ Because I called, and you refused, I stretched out my hand, and no one attended, ²⁵ And you renounced all my counsel, And you would not heed my reproof, ²⁶ Indeed, I myself shall ridicule you in your calamity; I shall deride when alarm comes upon you, ²⁷ When alarm comes upon you like a tumult, And calamity, it arrives upon you like a sweeping whirlwind, When distress and constraint come upon you." ²⁸ Then they shall call me, yet I shall not answer; They shall seek me early, yet shall not find me." ²⁹ Because they hated knowledge And would not choose the fear of Yahweh, ³⁰ They would not heed my counsel, They spurned all my correction, ³¹ Thus they shall eat of the fruit of their way, And they shall be surfeited with the results of their counsels." ³² For the instability of the simple, it shall kill them, And the carelessness of the stupid, it shall destroy them."

¹ Wisdom has built her house; She has hewn out its seven columns. ² She has slaughtered her slaughter; She has blended her wine; Indeed, she has arranged her table." ³ She has sent forth her maidens; She is calling from the peaks of the town heights:

¹⁵ For thus says my Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel:"By returning and resting shall you be saved. In quietness and in trust shall come your mastery. Yet you are not willing to hear."

¹ Ho! Every thirsty one! Go to the water! And he who has no money, go, purchase and eat and drink, and go, purchase with no money and with no price, wine and milk." ² Why will you weigh out money for that which is not bread? And give your labor for that which gives no satisfaction? Hearken, yea hearken to Me, and eat what is good. And deliciousness in sleekness shall your soul enjoy."

¹⁶ Thus said Yahweh:Stand you by the ways and see, and ask for paths of old, Where [is] this--the good way? and go you in it, And find rest for yourselves. And they say, `We do not go.'" <sup>17</sup> And I have raised up for you watchmen, Attend you to the voice of the trumpet. And they say, `We do not attend.'"

⁴ And Yahweh has sent unto you all His servants, the prophets, rising early and sending, and you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear, saying:"

¹⁵ And I send unto you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying:Turn back, I pray you, each from his evil way, and amend your doings, yea, you do not walk after other elohims, to serve them, and dwell you on the ground that I have given to you and to your fathers; and you have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto Me."

² As I call to them, so they go from My presence. To Baals they are sacrificing, and to carvings they are fuming incense."

⁷ My people are hung on backsliding from Me; though they are proclaiming Him as the Supreme, not one is exalting Him."

⁷ Hist! At the presence of my Lord, Yahweh, for near is the day of Yahweh! For Yahweh prepares a sacrifice; he sanctifies His called ones."

² saying: "Repent! for near is the kingdom of the heavens!"

⁶ Yet be going rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. ⁷ Now going, herald, saying that 'Near is the kingdom of the heavens!'"

³⁴ Now when the season of the fruits draws near, he dispatches his slaves to the farmers to be getting his fruits."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!"

⁷ And He is calling to Him the twelve, and He begins to dispatch them two by two and gave them authority over the unclean spirits." ⁸ And He charges them that they should be picking up nothing for the road except a staff only; no bread, no beggar's bag, no coppers in the girdle;" ⁹ but having soles bound on, and not to put on two tunics." ¹⁰ And He said to them, "Wheresoever you may be entering into a house, there remain till you should be coming out thence." ¹¹ And whatever place should not be receiving you, nor yet they should be hearing you, going out thence, shake off the soil which is underneath your feet, for a testimony to them. Verily, I am saying to you, More tolerable will it be for Sodom or Gomorrah in the day of judging than for that city."

¹ Now calling together the twelve apostles, He gives them power and authority over all the demons and to be curing diseases." ² And He commissions them to be heralding the kingdom of God and to be healing the infirm. ³ And He said to them, "Nothing pick up for the road, neither staff, nor beggar's bag, nor bread, nor silver, nor have two tunics apiece." ⁴ And into whatever house you may be entering, there be remaining, and thence be coming away." ⁵ And whoever should not be receiving you, coming out from that city, twitch off even the dust from your feet for a testimony against them." ⁶ Now coming out, they passed through by the villages, bringing the evangel and curing everywhere."

³⁴ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen does her brood under her wings, and you will not!"

¹⁵ Now hearing these things, someone of those lying back at table with Him, said to Him, "Happy is he who will be eating bread in the kingdom of God!" ¹⁶ Now He said to him, "A certain man made a great dinner, and invites many." ¹⁷ And he dispatches his slave at the dinner hour to say to those invited, 'Come, for already, it is ready!'"

²⁸ Now he is indignant and would not enter. Yet his father, coming out, entreated him."

²⁷ However, these, my enemies, who are not willing for me to reign over them-lead them here and slay them in front of me.'"

⁴⁰ and not willing are you to come to Me that you may have life.

⁴⁵ Yet the Jews, perceiving the throngs, are filled with jealousy, and they contradicted the things spoken by Paul, blaspheming."

²¹ Now to Israel He is saying, The whole day I spread out My hands to a stubborn and contradicting people!"

²⁵ Beware! You should not be refusing Him Who is speaking! For if those escaped not, refusing the One apprizing on earth, much rather we, who are turning from the One from the heavens,

¹⁷ And the spirit and the bride are saying, 'Come!' and let him who is hearing say, 'Come!' And let him who is thirsting come. Let him who will, take the water of life gratuitously."
