¹⁷ I see him yet not now, I regard him yet not near. A star will tread forth from Jacob; a scepter will arise from Israel, and he will transfix both edges of Moab, and the scalp of all the sons of tumult.

²⁵ And knowing is Adam Eve, his wife, again. And pregnant is she and bearing a son. And calling is she his name Seth, saying, "For set for me has the Elohim another seed instead of Abel, for Cain kills him. ²⁶ And to Seth, moreover, to him is born a son. And calling is he his name Enosh. Then this one is wounded. Yet he calls on the name of Yahweh Elohim.

³ And living is Adam two hundred and thirty years. And begetting is he one in his likeness, according to his image. And calling is he his name Seth. ⁴ And coming are the days of Adam, after his begetting Seth, to be seven hundred years. And begetting is he sons and daughters. ⁵ And coming are all the days of Adam, which he lives, to be nine hundred and thirty years. And he died. ⁶ And living is Seth two hundred and five years. And begetting is he Enosh. ⁷ And living is Seth, after his begetting Enosh, seven hundred and seven years, and begetting is he sons and daughters. ⁸ And coming are all the days of Seth to be nine hundred and twelve years. And begetting is he a son. ²⁹ And calling is he his name Noah, saying, "This one will console us because of our doings, and because of the grief of our hands, because of the ground which Yahweh Elohim makes a curse.

¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

²⁹ Woe to you, Moab! You have perished, people of Chemosh! He gave up his sons delivered from slaughter, and his daughters into captivity to Sihon, king of the Amorite.

³⁸ And Saul said, `Draw you nigh hither all, the chiefs of the people, and know and see in what this sin has been to-day;"

² And he smites Moab, and measures them with a line, causing them to lie down on the earth, and he measures two lines to put to death, and the fulness of the line to keep alive, and the Moabites are to David for servants, bearers of a present.

⁵ and it comes to pass at the death of Ahab, that the king of Moab transgresses against the king of Israel.

²⁶ And the king of Moab sees that the battle has been too strong for him, and he takes with him seven hundred men, drawing sword, to cleave through unto the king of Edom, and they have not been able, ²⁷ and he takes his son, the first-born who reigns in his stead, and causes him to ascend--a burnt-offering on the wall, and there is great wrath against Israel, and they journey from off him, and turn back to the land.

² and he smites Moab, and the Moabites are servants to David, bringing a present.

²⁵ Yet as for me, I know my Redeemer is living, And after this He shall arise on the soil;" ²⁶ And behind my skin I will stand erect, And from my flesh I shall perceive Eloah, ²⁷ Whom I shall perceive for myself, And my own eyes will see, Him and not an alien. My innermost being is exhausted in my bosom,

⁶ Your throne, O Elohim, is for the eon and further; A scepter of equity is the scepter of Your kingdom."

⁸ He shall hold sway from sea unto sea, And from the stream unto the limits of the earth." ⁹ Before Him His foes shall bow, And His enemies shall lick up the soil." ¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and the coastlands shall render a tributary present; The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer levy. ¹¹ And all the kings shall bow down to Him; All nations shall serve Him.

⁷⁰ He chose David, His servant, And He took him from the folds of the flock;" ⁷¹ From following the ewes, He brought him To shepherd Jacob, His people, And Israel, His allotment." ⁷² So he shepherded them in the integrity of his heart, And by the understanding of his palms, he guided them."

² The rod of Your strength shall Yahweh send from Zion; Sway among Your enemies.

⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

¹ LOAD OF MOAB Seeing that, in a night, devastated is the city, Moab is stilled! Seeing that, in a night, devastated is the side wall, Moab is stilled!" ² It ascends the Bith and Dibon, the fane heights, for lamentation. On Nebo and on Medeba is Moab howling. On all their heads is baldness, and every beard is hacked." ³ In its streets they gird on sackcloth. On top of its houses and in its squares everyone is howling, and tears are descending with lamentation." ⁴ And crying out is Heshbon and Elealeh, unto Jahaz their voice is heard. Therefore those liberated for war in Moab are shouting. Its soul is feeling evil to him." ⁵ The heart of Moab is crying out in it. Its fugitives are unto Zoar, as a heifer of the third year, for the ascent of Luhith. It is ascending into it with lamentation, for the way is a hot outcry with breaking and quaking." ⁶ For the changeable waters are becoming desolations, for dry is the grass. Vanished is the verdure. Nothing becomes green." ⁷ Therefore the rest is saved, and their noted things; they will bear them over the watercourse of the oleanders." ⁸ For the outcry encompasses the boundary of Moab. Her howling is unto Eglaim, and unto the well of Elim is her howling." ⁹ For the waters of Dibon are full of blood, for I will set on Dibon still more:A lion lurks for the delivered of Moab, and for the remnant of the ground."

¹ Send as by a stallion to the land from the crag, toward the wilderness, to the mount of the daughter of Zion." ² And it comes, as a flitting flyer being sent from the nest, so the daughters of Moab are becoming at the crossings of Arnon." ³ Bring counsel; make mediation. Set, as night, your shadow amidst noons; conceal those expelled. A flitter you must not expose." ⁴ Among you shall sojourn the expelled of Moab. Be a concealment for them from the face of the devastator. For He limits the squeezer; finished is the devastator. They come to an end of tramping from the land. ⁵ And prepared by kindness is a throne, and seated on it in truth, in the tent of David, is a judge. And he inquires for judgment, and swift is justice." ⁶ We hear of the pomp of Moab. Exceedingly proud is his pride, and his pomp and his rage. Wherefore his pretenses." ⁷ Wherefore, Moab shall howl for Moab. All of it shall howl. Over the raisins of the side wall of Haresheth are you soliloquizing. Yea, they are sore" ⁸ over the plantations of Heshbon. Enfeebled is the vine of Sibmah. The swallowers of nations have hammered down its vines. They touched unto Jazer. They have strayed into the wilderness. Its runners are let go. They pass the sea. ⁹ Therefore, I will lament with the lamentation of Jazer, for the vine of Sibmah. I will soak you with my tears, Heshbon and Elealeh, for, on your summer and on your harvest, devastation falls." ¹⁰ And gathered is rejoicing and exultation from the crop land. And in the vineyards is no jubilating, and no shouting. Wine in the wine vats the treader is not treading. The whooping I cause to cease." ¹¹ Therefore my bowels are clamoring as a harp for Moab, and my inwards as a new lyre for the side wall." ¹² And it comes, in case it fears, that Moab is tired on the fane height, and it comes to its sanctuary to pray, yet shall not prevail." ¹³ This is the word which Yahweh spoke to Moab hitherto. ¹⁴ Yet now speaks Yahweh, saying, "In three years, as the years of a hireling, then slighted is the glory of Moab, in all the vast throng, and the remnant is but a little bit, and not abundant."

⁴⁵ In the shadow of Heshbon stood powerless have fugitives, For fire has gone forth from Heshbon, And a flame from within Sihon, And it consumes the corner of Moab, And the crown of the sons of Shaon."

⁴ From him is the cornerstone, from Him is the peg, from Him is the battle bow, from Him shall every exactor fare forth together."

¹⁰ Yet I pour out on the house of David, and on the dwellers of Jerusalem, a spirit of grace and supplications; and they look to Him Whom they stabbed, and they will wail over Him as the wailing over the only son, and they will be embittered over Him as the embittering over the firstborn."

² saying, "Where is He Who is brought forth King of the Jews? For we perceived His star in the East, and we came to worship Him." ³ Now, hearing of it, King Herod was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. ⁴ And, gathering all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he ascertained from them where the Christ is born. ⁵ Now they say to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written through the prophet: ⁶ 'And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah,
Are you in any respect least among the mentors of Judah?
For out of you shall come forth the Ruler
Who shall shepherd My people Israel.'" ⁷ Then Herod, covertly calling the magi, ascertains exactly from them the time of the star's appearing. ⁸ And, sending them into Bethlehem, he said, "Having gone, inquire accurately concerning the little Boy. Now if ever you may be finding Him, report to me, so that I also, coming, should be worshiping Him." ⁹ Now those who hear the king went, and lo! the star which they perceived in the East preceded them till, coming, it was standing over where the little Boy was.

³² He shall be great, and Son of the Most High shall He be called. And the Lord God shall be giving Him the throne of David, ³³ His father, and He shall reign over the house of Jacob for the eons. And of His kingdom there shall be no consummation."

⁷⁸ Because of the merciful compassions of our God, In which the Dayspring from on high visits us,

⁸ Yet to the Son: "Thy throne, O God, is for the eon of the eon, And a scepter of rectitude is the scepter of Thy kingdom."

¹⁹ And we are having the prophetic word more confirmed, which you, doing ideally, are heeding (as to a lamp appearing in a dingy place, till the day should be breaking and the morning star should be rising) in your hearts,

¹¹ Woe to them! for they went in the way of Cain, and in the deception of Balaam's wages were they poured out, and in the contradiction of Korah they perished."

¹⁴ Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesies to these also, saying, "Lo! the Lord came among ten thousand of His saints, ¹⁵ to do judging against all, and to expose all the irreverent concerning all their irreverent acts in which they are irreverent, and concerning all the hard words which irreverent sinners speak against Him."

⁷ Lo! He is coming with clouds, and every eye shall be seeing Him-those, also, who stab Him-and all the tribes of the land shall be grieving over Him. Yea! Amen!"

¹⁵ And the seventh messenger trumpets. And loud voices occurred in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world became our Lord's and His Christ's, and He shall be reigning for the eons of the eons! Amen!"

¹⁶ I, Jesus, send My messenger to testify these things to you in the ecclesias. I am the root and the race of David, the resplendent morning star."
