⁴ Yet their griefs shall increase who hasten after another elohim; Not at all shall I libate their libations of blood, And not at all shall I bear their names on my lips."

¹⁴ And setting up is Jacob a monument in the place in which He spoke with him, a monument of stone. And libating is he on it a libation and pouring on it oil.

¹³ You shall beware in all that I say to you. And the name of other elohim you shall not mention; nor let it be heard coming out of your mouth.

¹³ together with its approach present of two tenths of an ephah of flour mingled with oil, a fire offering to Yahweh, a fragrant odor, and its libation of wine, a fourth of a hin.

⁷ so as not to go in among these nations, these who are left with you; and of the name of their elohims you do not make mention, nor do you swear, nor do you serve them, nor do you bow yourselves to them;"

¹⁰ Many are the pains for the wicked one, Yet for the one trusting in Yahweh, benignity shall surround him."

⁷ May all the servants of a carving be ashamed, The ones boasting in useless idols; Bow down to Him, all you elohim."

³⁷ They sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons; ³⁸ So they shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the fetishes of Canaan, And the land was polluted with bloodshed."

⁶ among slick stones of the watercourse is your portion. They, they are your lot moreover, to them you pour out a libation; you bring up an approach present. Over these shall I regret?

¹¹ And you who are forsaking Yahweh, forgetting My holy mountain, arranging for Gad a table, and filling for Minni a blend;"

³ Yet the wicked one-- the slaying of a bull, to Me is as smiting a man, sacrificing a flockling is as breaking the neck of a cur, bringing up an approach present is as the blood of a swine, making a memorial of frankincense is as blessing lawlessness. Moreover, they choose their own ways, and in their abominations their soul delights."

¹⁸ The sons are gathering wood, And the fathers are causing the fire to burn, And the women are kneading dough, To make cakes to the queen of the heavens, And to pour out libations to other elohims, So as to provoke Me to anger."

¹⁶ And it comes in that day, (averring is Yahweh), she shall call Me, My Husband, and no longer shall she call Me, My Possessor, ¹⁷ and I take away the names of the Baals from her mouth, and no longer shall they be remembered by their name."

⁸ Those observing the vanities of futility are forsaking their own kindness.

⁹ And another, a third messenger, follows them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone is worshiping the wild beast and its image, and is getting an emblem on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ he, also, is drinking of the wine of the fury of God, blended undiluted in the cup of His indignation, and he shall be tormented in fire and sulphur in the sight of the holy messengers and in the sight of the Lambkin." ¹¹ And the fumes of their torment are ascending for the eons of the eons. And they are having no rest day and night, those worshiping the wild beast and its image, and if anyone is getting the emblem of its name."

⁴ And I hear another voice out of heaven, saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you should be joint participants in her sins, and lest you should be getting of her calamities, ⁵ for her sins were piled up to heaven, and God remembers her injuries."
