⁷ You, indeed You are fear inspiring, And who may stand before You from the strength of Your anger?

²⁵ For great [is] Yahweh, and praised greatly, And fearful He [is] above all elohims.

¹⁵ O Yahweh Elohim of Israel, You are the Righteous One! For we are left as a remnant for deliverance, as at this day. Here we are before You in our guilt, though no one can stand before You on account of this.

¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

⁷ El is greatly terrifying among the council of the saints, And fear inspiring to all those round about Him."

¹¹ Who is knowing the strength of Your anger And Your rage, according to the fear due to You?

³ If You should keep account of depravities, O Yah, O Yahweh, who should stand?

⁷ Who does not fear You, king of the nations? For to You it is becoming, For among all the wise of the nations, And in all their kingdom there is none like You." ⁸ And in one they are brutish and foolish, An instruction of vanities [is] the tree itself." ⁹ Spread-out silver from Tarshish is brought, And gold from Uphaz, Work of an artisan, and of the hands of a refiner, Blue and purple [is] their clothing, Work of the skilful--all of them." ¹⁰ And Yahweh [is] an Elohim of truth, He [is] a living Elohim, and a king eonian, From His wrath shake does the earth, And nations endure not His indignation."

⁶ Before His menace, who will stand? And who will rise in the heat of His anger? His fury is poured forth as fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him."

²⁸ And do not fear those who are killing the body, yet are not able to kill the soul. Yet be fearing Him, rather, Who is able to destroy the soul as well as the body in Gehenna."

²² Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Not stronger that He are we!

¹⁶ And they are saying to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the indignation of the Lambkin, ¹⁷ for the great day of Their indignation came, and who is able to stand?

⁷ saying with a loud voice, "Be ye afraid of God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judging came; and worship the Maker of heaven and the land and the sea and the springs of water."

⁴ Who may by no means be afraid of Thee, Lord, And glorify Thy name? For Thou only art benign. For all the nations shall arrive And worship before Thee, For Thy just awards were made manifest."
