Romans 4:14 Cross References - CLV

¹⁴ For if those of law are enjoyers of the allotment, faith has been made void and the promise has been nullified,

¹² Yet if her husband annuls, yea annuls them on the day he hears about them, then no utterance at all from her lips concerning her vows or the bond of her soul shall be confirmed. Her husband has annulled them, and Yahweh shall pardon her.

¹⁵ Yet if he annuls, yea annuls them after he heard about it, then he will bear her depravity.

¹²⁶ It is the season for Yahweh to act; They annul Your law.

¹¹ so shall be My word which shall fare forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me empty, but rather, it does that which I desire, and prospers in that for which I sent it."

⁷ And I have made void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and have caused them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those seeking their life, and I have given their carcase for food to the fowl of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth,

³¹ Are we, then, nullifying law through faith? May it not be coming to that! Nay, we are sustaining law."

¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith that it may accord with grace, for the promise to be confirmed to the entire seed, not to those of the law only, but to those also of the faith of Abraham, who is father of us all,

²¹ I am not repudiating the grace of God, for if righteousness is through law, consequently Christ died gratuitously."

¹⁸ so as to nullify the promise. For if the enjoyment of the allotment is of law, it is no longer of promise. Yet God has graciously granted it to Abraham through the promise." ¹⁹ What, then, is the law? On behalf of transgressions was it added, until the Seed should come to Whom He has promised, being prescribed through messengers in the hand of a mediator." ²⁰ Now there is no Mediator of one. Yet God is One. ²¹ Is the law, then, against the promises of God? May it not be coming to that! For if a law were given that is able to vivify, really, righteousness were out of law." ²² But the scripture locks up all together under sin, that the promise out of Jesus Christ's faith may be given to those who are believing." ²³ Now before the coming of faith we were garrisoned under law, being locked up together for the faith about to be revealed." ²⁴ So that the law has become our escort to Christ, that we may be justified by faith."

⁴ Exempted from Christ were you who are being justified in law. You fall out of grace.

⁹ and may be found in Him, not having my righteousness, which is of law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God for faith:"

¹⁹ for the law perfects nothing, yet it is the superinduction of a better expectation, through which we are drawing near to God."

²⁸ For the law is appointing men chief priests who have infirmity, yet the word sworn in the oath which is after the law, appoints the Son, perfected, for the eon."
