Ruth 1:16 Cross References - CLV

¹⁶ Ruth replied, You must not persuade me to forsake you, to turn away from following you; for wherever you go I shall go, and wherever you lodge I shall lodge. Your people will be my people, and your Elohim my Elohim.

¹⁸ and Yahweh casts out the whole of the peoples, even the Amorite inhabiting the land, from our presence; we also do serve Yahweh, for He [is] our Elohim..

¹¹ Boaz answered and said to her, It was told, yea told to me, all that you have done for your husband's mother since the death of your husband, how you forsook your father and your mother and the country of your birth and went to a people you had not known heretofore. ¹² May Yahweh repay your deeds. May your reward be equitable from Yahweh the Elohim of Israel, under Whose wings you have come to take refuge.

²¹ And Ittai answers the king and said, `Yahweh lives, and my lord the king lives, surely in the place where my lord the king is--if for death, if for life, surely there is your servant..

² and Elijah said unto Elisha, `Abide, I pray you, here, for Yahweh has sent me unto Beth-El;' and Elisha said, `Yahweh lives, and your soul lives, if I leave you;' and they go down to Beth-El. ³ And sons of the prophets who [are] in Beth-El come out unto Elisha, and say unto him, `Have you known that to-day Yahweh is taking your lord from your head?' and he said, `I also have known--keep silent.. ⁴ And Elijah said to him, `Elisha, abide, I pray you, here, for Yahweh has sent me to Jericho;' and he said, `Yahweh lives, and your soul lives, if I leave you;' and they come in to Jericho. ⁵ And sons of the prophets who [are] in Jericho come nigh unto Elisha, and say unto him, `Have you known that to-day Yahweh is taking your lord from your head?' and he said, `I also have known--keep silent.. ⁶ And Elijah said to him, `Abide, I pray you, here, for Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan;' and he said, `Yahweh lives, and your soul lives, if I leave you;' and they go on both of them,

¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and see, and stretch out your ear, And forget your people and the house of your father."

¹ For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and He chooses still in Israel, and He leaves them on their own ground. And the sojourners are obligated to them, and they are adherents to the house of Jacob."

⁴⁷ Answering is the king to Daniel and saying, "In verity, your Eloah, He is the Eloah of elohim, Lord of kings, and only Revealer of hidden secrets, seeing that you can reveal this secret."

²⁹ Now from me shall be promulgated a decree that, in every people, league, and language-group, whoever is saying aught carelessly against their Eloah--that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego--shall be dismembered and his house shall be the equivalent of a confiscation, forasmuch as there is actually not another Eloah Who can rescue as this One."

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, am lauding and exalting and honoring the King of the heavens, seeing that all His deeds are verity, and His paths are adjudication; and all walking in pride He can abase."

⁴ And I am Yahweh, your Elohim, Who establishes the heavens and creates the earth, Whose hands created all the host of the heavens. Yet I did not show them to you that you should go after them, when I brought you up from the land of Egypt. You will not know an elohim except Me, and there is no Saviour, unless it is I."

¹⁹ And, approaching, one scribe said to Him, "Teacher, I will be following Thee wheresoever Thou mayest come away."

²⁸ And they draw near to the village where they went, and He does as though He were going further." ²⁹ And they urge Him, saying, "Remain with us, for it is toward dusk and the day has already declined.And He entered to remain together with them."

³⁷ Peter is saying to Him, "Lord, wherefore can not I follow Thee at present? My soul for Thy sake will I lay down."

¹³ Then Paul answered and said, "What are you doing, lamenting and unnerving my heart? For I hold myself in readiness, not only to be bound, but to die also in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."

¹⁶ Now what concurrence has a temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, according as God said, that I will be making My home and will be walking in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ¹⁷ Wherefore, Come out of their midst and be severed, the Lord is saying. And touch not the unclean, and I will admit you, ¹⁸ and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty."

⁹ for they are reporting concerning us, what kind of an entrance we have had to you, and how you turn back to God from idols, to be slaving for the living and true God,

⁴ These are they who were not polluted with women, for they are celibates. These are those who are following the Lambkin wherever It should be going. These are bought from mankind, a firstfruit to God and the Lambkin."
